  1. It's not about the stats, though I'm not a huge fan of the slow and bulky route they took with it. It's about the aesthetics and the ability. Mega Heracross is quite literally (in my opinion) the ugliest mega in existence, which is surprising seeing as it was spawned from (in my opinion) the coolest looking pokemon. In 5th gen, Heracross was infamously known for one thing in particular, hitting fast and hard with a choice scarf, while maintaining reasonable bulk. Does mega Heracross follow that same style at all? No. Instead it hits like a truck, but struggles to out speed much while being really bulky. Additionally, before 6th gen Heracross' only multi hitting move was fury attack, but they give mega Heracross skill link and a plethora of moves to abuse it with. In the end, all this feels like is gamefreak thinking "we need a skill link mega, I know lets use Heracross" rather than actually thinking about the role that Heracross has played for years and building off that. As a result, mega Heracross doesn't feel like mega Heracross, it feels like a completely different pokemon all together. A pokemon that I don't particularly like, and the worst part is that there's no second chance for him.

Heya, ask me questions if you want.
  3. Why use rock climb when you could use return? More power and perfect accuracy.
  4. You can get a Ducklett egg inside the Obsidia Park while it's being influenced by the PULSE Tangrowth. Otherwise you need to wait until you get to Laura's house. They're in the grass around there.

I just tried these out for you and I've got some feedback. The sprites you've added for the 6th gen pokemon are much smaller than the sprites that were already there from before. Also it's no fault of the positioning of the pokemon in reborn that the sprites show up lower than they should. Because I've had some like Aurorus' back sprite or Ursaring's front sprite that show up too high. Instead I think that if this were to be done properly each sprite would need to be examined and adjusted so that they all sit on the correct spot. Also there are no gender differences in the pokemon at the moment.
  6. It will come out when it comes out. Be patient. No official statements will have been made as of yet, and I don't think Ame's about to tell us now.
  7. Uh, sorry Murdoc but did you even read Etesian's post above yours? Essentially there's a more recent thread for this so if you want to post, post there.
  8. Progress with the plot some more, don't worry you'll get there eventually.
  9. Hah, if I meant the second I'd have said Bioshock 2. I personally found the first one quite good, the second one meh, and I've got Infinite sitting in my library, but I haven't played it yet.
  10. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm going to sleep too. Uh, Corner.
  11. Dualtypethatcontainsthebesttype/10 Also, freakin' cool pokemon.

Use them if you want, if they don't work then change it back.
  13. Well, seeing as I didn't post with MEEEEEEEEEH! before you, I'd say you're neither. Why not go with Etesian?

The only way I've seen to get 3D sprites for this game is to use the graphics pack for pokemon Zeta/Omicron. However there are a few issues with that graphics pack. Firstly, not all of the 6th gen pokemon are in Omicron/Zeta, so those that aren't don't get a sprite at all. Secondly, there seems (for some reason I don't understand) to be a difference in where the pokemon sit on the screen between Zeta/Omicron and Reborn. This results in the 3D sprites showing up around half a sprite's length down from where it should be, which just looks plain weird. Interestingly enough there are no lag problems with it though. In short I don't think that path is worth it, but if you do then that's great. Otherwise feel free to make a graphics pack specially for Reborn, but to the best of my knowledge there isn't one out there at the moment, and there are no plans for one to be made.
  15. The item finder is in the building on route 1.
  16. That would annoy me so much. Every Drapion is a shiny Drapion.
  17. Do you have pokesnacks? Also is it a thunderstorm or just rain? I think it only comes out in a thunderstorm. If all of that seems right then maybe it's a time of day thing.
  18. Dunno about him but I ain't doin' it this time. Vinny.
  19. Please don't double post in the future, thanks.
  20. Baaa baaa baaa baaa ba ba ba ba baaaa. Baaa baaa baaa baaa baa baa baa. Good enough Rose?
  21. How about gyro ball and all other moves of variable base power, moves that hit more than once and can therefore go over the maximum base power limit, and the ability hustle which lowers the accuracy of moves to a point at which moves with 100% accuracy would be allowed?
  22. Try the OP. I'll post it here again for convenience. http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9370
  23. For the early game, without a doubt the incredibly underrated Vespiquen. Once it had evolved it took down 5 of Florinia's pokemon without dropping below half health, took a chatter from Taka's Chatot, and killed it in return with a power gem, removed Corey's field effect and removed 2 or 3 of his pokemon along with it, went blow for blow with Shelly's Yanmega and came out on top, and then toxic stalled around 4 of Shade's pokemon 'til they dropped (including his Chandelure) without the use of any items. For the late game, it should come as no surprise to any of you that it's Heracross. My team isn't really the greatest around, and moxie Heracross ends up carrying the team pretty badly. He put in very notable performances against Luna (where he 6-0'd her team) and Samson, using the big top and all of his attack boosts to send close combat through the roof.
