I found that video about a year ago, and adore it. For anyone wondering, I'll include it. You need to go to the source to get the right notes though.

      oh no ):

  4. I'd definitely go the speedy one myself.
  5. Healers like Lucius and Elise can do reasonable chip damage to low Res enemies when equipped with Assault. They're not going to ORKO anything but you can sometimes see stuff like 12x2 which, for a healer, is pretty respectable. One of the main reasons I want to see an offensive staff that has high might and deals regular damage is to get some differentiation between bulky support focused healers and faster more offensive healers. Right now the only healer you should really be using is one with its stats invested in bulk.
  6. This happened to me too. On F/GO as soon as I'd summoned Scathach my activity died right down.
  7. I haven't spent a cent on the game so I shouldn't be disappointed if I don't get Ike or Titania. Probably won't stop me though.
  8. Wings of Mercy allows you to sacrifice your movement to teleport into a space adjacent to one of your wounded units instead. It only sacrifices your movement though so you're free to attack from that position, or use a support skill on the unit you just teleported to. Particularly good on dancers and healers.
  9. +Res -HP with Poison Dagger+/Rally Speed/Reprisal/Darting Blow 3/Vantage 3/Hone Atk 3/Spd+1 She has an attack speed of 39 when attacking.
  10. I moved Kagero to the right and took out the sword user on the turn I initiated combat. Then their green mage attacked her over the wall and died too, while the spear user, healer, and Xander all moved in. Next turn I attacked the spear user with Kagero and killed him, attacked Xander with Olwen and killed him, and attacked the healer with Cordelia and killed her. Easiest GHB I've ever done.
  11. People are struggling with the Xander one? I thought it was the easiest one yet, just walked in there with Cordelia, Olwen, and Kagero and won first go without taking significant amounts of damage on anyone. I was really underwhelmed. Stahl literally just sat in the corner and watched. Also, to everyone pulling Ikes and Titanias, leave some for me. Please. I'm still over here pulling Hinata and Lon'qu.
  12. So do I honestly, I low key like her. It'd probably work, and using a unit that you like is way better than using a unit that's good, but I was just talking from an objective standpoint looking at it as an attempt to make the build somehow more effective.
  13. I don't think that'd really help any. Anything that counters Hector is also very likely to counter Sheena.
  14. Probably the combination of Armads and Distant Counter. Lots of things that attack him die. It's just that lots of people have bladetomes/Axebreaker/Triangle Adept/Red Dragons by now.
  15. Units I want: Top Priority Titania Ike Lucius Moderate Priority Gunter (Hone Cavalry) Roy (Triangle Adept) Frederick (Luna) Low Priority Azama (Better IVs than my current one) Stahl (Better IVs than my current one) Clair Raven Julia Lyn Minerva
  16. I can't say I've used Draw Back much, but I freakin' love Swap. Swap Stahl is the perfect companion for a unit like Olwen or Cordelia. As for Threaten skills, I've found a couple of uses for them: Threaten Speed can be really useful in enabling fast units to double anyone up to their own speed bracket, all you need to do is position your unit (in my case Cordelia) just outside the range of a melee range enemy and they'll move their maximum movement and end their turn 2 spaces away from you. Then you start your next turn, their Spd drops by 5, and you move in for the kill. It takes some finicky positioning, which means it doesn't always work in the heat of battle, but after a while it becomes second nature when lining up your units to take the initial charge. Threaten Defence is fantastic on armoured units, as it is essentially Death Blow. Any unit that an armoured unit can attack (without being helped by Reposition) must be within two spaces of the armoured unit at the beginning of your turn, otherwise you won't reach them. Therefore an armoured unit with Threaten Def 3 effectively has 5 more points of Atk, and what's more it also works off your phase once it's initially applied. This is the reason Eckesachs works so well on Zephiel, it's almost like a flat 20 might weapon. Threaten Defence can also be used in a similar manner to Threaten Spd, but for brave weapon wielders. A free 10 points of damage just by lining your units up correctly is nothing to sneeze at. Threaten Resistance can be used in much the same manner as Threaten Defence on brave weapon users, but on Dire Thunder users instead. Again, it's 10 free damage (often on top of 12 free damage from Death Blow 3). There's also the infamous cavalry buffing skills, which are amazing at the moment, while their flier and armour counterparts are somewhat less so. If your unit is unlikely to benefit from any of that though, then there's nothing wrong with slapping a Hone skill in their C slot, a Rally skill in their support slot, and turning them into a dual purpose unit. Edit: @Chase I don't think he was talking about Azura, as either would require her ditch Sing.
  17. Yeah Raven's from that game. Cordelia and Raven are two peas in a pod honestly as far as Heroes goes, they're hyper offensive brave weapon wielders that can wreak havoc with some speed support and Desperation. Galeforce isn't as good in practice as it looks on paper, because it commonly only activates when a fight is either done, or just about done. It's rare that it makes a truly significant difference to a match. Ultimately I don't really like Cordelia's starting set very much. I think her Brave Lance limits her offensive potential (though give her Death Blow and she'll be punching holes in things with her naturally high Atk stat), while Astra and Galeforce both have too long cooldown, and Pass is pretty useless. Natural Triangle Adept is nice because it can be very useful for specific fights, but it's not something you want to leave in as a permanent A skill. Comparatively Raven's natural skill set is much better for a Brave Axe wielder. Defiant Spd and Threaten Def is sick, toss him Desperation and he'll quad people for 5 extra damage per hit before they can even attack him, and heal himself back up to full to boot, ready for another enemy on their phase to put him back down into Desperation range again. I ended up revamping Cordelia completely, with a Silver Lance+, Ardent Sacrifice, Draconic Aura (with Galeforce on the side if I need it), Speed+3 (with Triangle Adept on the side if I need it), Desperation, and Threaten Spd. That lets her double any melee ranged unit 38 Spd or lower, with 50 Atk and Desperation. It does her whole "a good offense is the best defense" shtick much better than the base set, though it required heavy investment.
  18. Going by popularity on the pre game poll Tharja vs Robin is very similar to Camilla vs Cordelia, and we all know how that turned out. Except that Camilla actually scored less than Tharja, and Cordelia marginally outscored Robin. Add to that the fact that everyone will bandwagon to Tharja and yeah... Tharja's gonna clean house. Man this dude is the one guy you do not want to freakin' mess with. Monstrous combat potential in FE7, easily one of the best units in the game, and someone that everyone uses.
  19. That's already implemented. You can merge an old copy of a unit that you have with inherited skills into a newer version that you summon and keep the skills.
  20. If you want an article on everything Commander is talking about here you go.
  21. The lunatic Ike is stronger than a regular Ike. Base Olwen and base Cordelia both ORKO base Ike before he can attack. Even +Res Ike can't live a round from base Olwen. When in doubt slap Death Blow on it though, my Death Blow 3 Olwen ORKO'd the lunatic Ike.
  22. Other commonly used units that one round him at base are Azura, Cordelia, Linde, Lucina-S, Olwen, and Tharja but yeah he's pretty great. Effie beats the snot out of him too, though can't get the ORKO at base.
  23. Given her reasonably balanced statline across the board I think Fury 3 and Renewal 3 is a good combo for her. If your +HP -Def Titania had Fury 3 her statline would look like 41/43/37/25/33 and ain't no one gonna tell me that's not pretty impressive. 25 Def should be enough to really minimize the amount of damage taken from Lances in conjunction with her Emerald Axe, even an attack stat of 50 results in 5 damage (plus another 6 afterwards) and Fury also both helps with her low Atk, and brings her to a very nice Spd tier. It's like every aspect of Fury helps her significantly, while Renewal helps to heal off the damage, and you could always run Sol if you find you need extra healing.
  24. A new voting gauntlet has been announced with four female and four male mages. For the females you've got Sanaki, Linde, Julia, and Tharja, while for the males you've got Merric, Leo, Robin, and Henry. Wonder who's going to win this one? Couldn't possibly be Tharja could it? I don't really care about any of these characters (my favourites would probably be Sanaki and Julia) so I'm just going to roll with a candidate who looks like they're unlikely to win but likely to make it to round two. That way I can score big feathers in both rounds 1 and 2, while joining the vs Tharja team in round 3 and score big feathers again.
