  1. I'm sure Kiritsugu isn't the only one looking for world peace. Nor is the the only one with a hardened exterior, I don't think it should be a problem but I'm not Frogs.
  2. Mael's a particularly manly mod here on the site.
  3. June 13th, 2030. Sydney 6:43 PM. "Alright, lets get started" Andrew says, an edge of nervousness in his voice. He's standing next to his wife Marie in the center of the stone room. Even though they are using the cellar the entire space is illuminated clearly by electric lights hanging from the ceiling. Moving to the wall he grabs a large flask full of an unmistakable red liquid. Andrew stares at the flask he is holding lost in thought, his eyes softened by a hint of possible regret. "I'm still not sure this was the right choice Marie, draining our own son for this damned ritual" he says. "Dan
  4. He definitely did. Edit: Whew, so that was unlike anything I've ever done before. Let me know what you think, hopefully it won't take that long every time.
  5. I don't think the full evocation is needed, but you need to at least start it. Even Ryonuske (or however you spell that) did that much.
  6. You are correct. I'd always assumed up until this point that Assassin from Zero was summoned well before the war because of the way the scenes are set out, but that doesn't actually seem to be the case. Though it should be mentioned that the Grail doesn't actually maintain your servant. That is entirely up to the master, the part that requires tons of mana is summoning it in the first place, a task I'd assume the Grail cannot undertake until sufficiently manifested.
  7. Is it cool if I go back in time a bit to summon my servant? The idea being that as Andrew obtained his command seals three years ago he hasn't wasted any time in procuring what he needs. It would also allow me to provide a bit of back story on motivation and the like. The idea would be that Archer is summoned in Australia, and spends the next two years there before traveling with Andrew to Japan at the appropriate time. I'll probably end the opening part on my end with him arriving at his hotel room in Japan.
  8. Just finished my last exam as an undergrad. Assuming I didn't fail anything of course. Hasn't really kicked in yet.

  9. Mhm, I've just finished with exams, and I'll likely make the long drive back home tomorrow. So I'm officially free. I'll say this now, I included the ritual for summoning your servant in the mega magic spiel, but the words aren't really very strict. Feel free to use whatever language style (thee, thou, thy, you, your, whatever really) you feel fits your character, it should really just resemble what I put up.
  10. Sounds cool. Finally a chink in the armour of this alliance.
  11. How on earth did the mages association manage to get someone from the church on their side?
  12. Yeah, nor can Assassin as his greatest trait is the way he can go after other masters easily. Not a servant that should be ranked according to it's anti-servant capabilities. Don't stress yourself over the rankings too much though, they're just a loose observation at best. And yes I've already considered the fact that I may have to see Archer facing down 3 opponents simultaneously. When I realized I was particularly unenthused at their identities as well. Saber, Lancer, and Assassin. Who wants to face that team solo? Meanwhile you're quite right in that I don't have any friends, and if Archer
  13. If I were to rank the level of the servants being summoned based off their legends and the profiles presented it would probably look something like this: Archer>Lancer=Saber>Berserker=Assassin>Rider with Caster being an anomaly with the potential to kill or be killed by any of them. Of course a ranking such as this doesn't take into account good or bad matchups, have fun trying to kill a giant bird Berserker. However, I was allowed to bring this particular Archer to the contest on the condition that I didn't get carried away blowing everyone else up with his overwhelming power and I
  14. Oh I should note that I've helped edit every servant in this war except my own Archer. Obviously I can't critique my own creation, so if anyone wants to read over the legend of Arjuna, take a look at my recreation of him as a servant, and point out anything flawed or unbalanced I'd appreciate it. I'm far from infallible, and many minds make a better final product than one.
  15. That'd be because there's only 8 stickers.
  16. The area shouldn't be blocked off. What exactly is stopping you?
  17. I'm just rolling with basic thaumaturgy much like Nadia. Everyone else (except Rusty) seems to be using runes though, which is interesting.
  18. Spam the quote button. All you need to do is hit quote on whatever you want to quote again and then delete the unnecessary parts. The base stats are more of a guideline than a hard base as I've seen. There have been servants that have dipped below those very base stats before. As for Diarmuid, it did puzzle me initially but then I realized his master is probably the most competent of all of them so far. In that case how does it kill him? If he's immune to fire what exactly does the spear do to him? Also, seeing as accounts of the spear almost seem as if it is alive (and has significant b
  19. A/B/C is a rearrangement of the stats that Cuchulain has. Cuchulain being a demigod, with significantly more fame (and probably ability) than Celtchar. However, if those are the stats you want I won't stop you. It is after all your character to make, and Bfroger's to approve, I'm just trying to help make it reasonable. Honestly I'd drop the whole penalty thing. To me the lance sounds like a weapon of deadly power, which can ultimately backfire (pun intended) on it's wielder. I think it's enough for it to kill the wielder by burning them alive if left unquenched for too long. For that reason
  20. Yeah, Fate/Extra lists it as a class skill, but Extra is pretty much the least canon thing out there when it comes to Fate. Nothing else does, though I can understand the misconception.
  21. Before I say anything I want you to know that I don't like doing this, and I'm not doing it to give myself a better chance of winning. I just want to see all of the servants portrayed as accurately as possible. I've got some issues with Lancer. I love the character in general, with a brief skim over his legend I can tell he's an awesome warrior but I can't help but think he's too strong. You've given him physical stats of A/A/B. To be quite frank that's ridiculous. Fate/Stay Night Lancer and Fate/Apocrypha Lancer of Red are both demigods with lower stats than that, summoned into the same clas
  22. You know earthquake KO's the pokemon that uses it too right? Edit: Nvm mat block affects all pokemon on your side of the field.
  23. Ok Rusty, I didn't want to say anything but you've really got to do something about your writing. I struggled to understand what you were saying because some of the words aren't just misspelled, they're plain wrong.
  24. Ordinarily I'd agree with you, but Ufotable and ordinarily are not things that can be put together.
