Damn. Got my hopes up there, doing a Dragon mono at the moment and that'd have been so nice to have to prevent Altaria from becoming entirely irrelevant >_>
-
Hold on where's the Altarianite?
-
Tfw the Mega Stones I'd actually want to use aren't even in, where's my Absolite/Sceptilite... I've got Houndoomite for one playthrough and Bannetite for my ghost mono, I guess.
-
The price one has to pay for looking like fucking Seto Kaiba I guess
-
Gallade also doesn't have an ability that turns Normal moves into Fairy moves and buffs them by 1.2x on top, or a useful ability period..

I mean the reason Gardevoir/Magnezone are overused are because they're basically the first, most easily accessible decent-good Pokemon of their respective types, and they're basically handouts since you get them during story progression essentially. Or well, used to. Ralts and the Yureyu Key being moved back so much was so dumb. Tfw shes actually a young ass brat from the orphanage and the Lin we're seeing is just an avatar/aged up version so 9 year old garbage is kinda accurate. Thinking about it she's basically Flowey. Go figure.
-
9 year old garbage is where she belongs.

Speaking of hax, just managed to beat Shade in my Dragon mono through the greatest of hax and Flygon who I overgrinded to get. >Rock Slide flinch the Dhelmise into a Crunch Kill >> Rock Slide flinch the Rotom into a Crunch kill >>>Double Rock Slide flinch the Mimikyu into an Earthquake critical hit. Flygon legit took 0 damage in this fight because of it, it was hillarious. Bless this Antlion.

Went into Radomus with a seemingly decent team, was wrong. Ended up being down to a 1v1 between my Beheeyem who'd stacked up 6 Calm Minds, against Gardevoir. On the turn Beheeyem was about to obtain the KO; "G.Gardevoir used Moonblast! It's a Critical hit! Beheeyem fainted!" Lmao.
-
He's far ahead on Meteor sure, but making us go down into the Arc, let us fight a bloody Fake Arceus, then swoop in and take the kill by taking out El by revealing he could've called Gardevoir at just about any point and ended the charade is nothing short of infuriating. Then he pretty much does it again the next episode. This is next to the tediousness of Route1(Especially on my first playthrough where it was lag incarnate) The story arc itself is actually rather good, and I can appreciate the El/Radomus dynamic quite a bit, but good fucking god I can't stand him as character period. Gardevoir is pure salt admittedly. A couple years back I did a nuzlocke of Reborn and a critical hit from G.Gardevoir wiped me out. In terms of story arcs; E14-15 is probably my favourite. A cool chase up an ice mountain, parraleling Pyrous, except here it's a reversal of roles. Not defending the objective, but being on the offensive, trying to stop Blake from escaping with Ruby Ring. A cool boss fight later, you enter Glitch World, then into the sewers for Taka/Titania exposition, and into the Mansion Gauntlet, nothing's more catharthic than beating Meteor Goons, Fern and Blake and then Solaris back to back.

Filler is a bit of an exaggaration, but seriously it's feels like a pisstake when you're forced to fight a fake god only to have him click his fingers and bam, Garde OP's her way through. Then you go through a black market, fight your way through a cult to save his adopted daughter....only to find that he could've done it at basically any time. Good god it's pretty tilting and make your efforts essentially feel like they amount to nothing. Just can't stand that part of the story, to each their won I guess.

IMO Leavanny's best off with a set like SD/Leaf Blade/X-Scissor/Sticky Web. It's typing is horrid but the fact that it can have the rare but fantastic Sticky Web means it absolutely has a usable niche. It does require carrying a Sewaddle to level 31 before evolving, but it's the line's main attraction. This combined with decent bulk and nice abilities makes it pretty decent. I don't think it has room for Fell Stinger unfortunately.
-
Lucario's thing is that it absolutely is a mixed attacker; it's why it's such a good wallbreaker/sweeper, much like Infernape it's incredibly unpredictable. Adaptabillity just gives too much of a boost to both ends of the spectrums, but there's not a lot of abilities that would fit it's mixed attacking prowess well. Much prefer regular Lucario's design though, same with most megas.
-
You've got a 4th wallbreaking, whimsical bastard with a bitch of a Gardevoir that turns 2 entire episodes into essential filler because they're basically pointless. Cool design tho. Then you've got the formermain antagonist(Fuck. Lin.) who's looks rather cool, if a bit too similar to Sirius(basically the same overworld sprite), has actually justified reasons for doing what he does(his ancestral home was bloody built over after his parents were murdered, his ancestral home being near a holy shrine at that, as Taka said "It was the ultimate insult to our forebearer's culture.") and is the dad of #BestCharacter Taka. Yeah no he's pretty cool.

Stuff like 2 Megas for Charizard or Mewtwo were wholly unnecessary, but at the same time it is awesome to see a Pokemon you really like getting some love in that way. The thing I am against is not giving 'counterparts' a Mega too though, for example, Butterfree and Beedrill, Milotic and Gyarados, Flygon and the other gen 3 Dragons. Flygon and Milotic especially deserved it(I'd have taken a Flygon Mega over the current Mega Garchomp any day honestly.) Alas my favourite megas bar Mawile and Absol aren't even in this list though. RIP Pidgeot/Sceptile/Gallade. Pidgeot's Mega is bordering on my favourite period, just did everything right; Gave it a niche, fixed it's attack stat being highest despite it being known for it's wind based moves more, made it look motherfucking badass. God bless you Bird Jesus.

@S4v4g3r Eh, I don't think Rotom-H fits too well on your team honestly. You're probably better off with something like Arcanine or a Scizor to form a Volt-Turn core with Mega Mane.
-
@S4v4g3r I'd suggest something like Primarina > Clawitzer due to better typing synergy with your team. A set such as Scald/Moonblast/Psychic/Ice Beam is fantastic at wallbreaking for you. If not Primarina, Azumarill does much the same thing, on top of adding priority in a strong Aqua Jet to your team I'd also suggest Extremespeed > Earthquake on Lucario, Earthquake doesn't really give it any additional coverage. Maybe another Fire type over Volcarona? You've got a good set up sweeper in Lucario already, and Volcarona is something that's better to support fully. If you want to keep it, I'd honestly suggest getting Giga Drain just so you can heal/deal with rock and water types better.
