Kindle decided it was best not to question it, she could quiz him on the matter at a later date. Instead she shoved one last piece of chicken in her mouth, grabbed her plate, and stood.
"If thif way." She said, gesturing vaguely in the direction of her room.
By this time her mother should be gone, so it should have been a safe place. Then again, her mom could easily still be tapping that stupid little screen of hers without any regard for the time. Kindle couldn't restrain a sigh of relief upon finding that her mother was indeed not in the room any longer, though that could mean she was just out for a smoke. Spinning around, Kindle flopped back onto her bed.
"Better make this quick," she said without sitting up, "my worthless mom could get back here any time, though chances are she went home."
