    I'm getting tired of critics. Which is frustrating because I enjoy looking at things critically. But it feels to me like every time I take interest in a critic they end up having a couple things that they consider to be unequivocally the best such that nothing can ever compare to those things. Then they proceed to compare literally everything to them and anything that isn't at least 90% as good is judged to be an abomination.

      depending on what youre being criticized upon, critics can be a necessity, though. plus, you dont have to take everything to heart that said critics tell you- only the parts that you feel are the most neutral and important.

      Not people criticizing me, Bibs. Critics who analyze media like games and movies. Also to a lesser extent food critics and etc but they don't interest me as much as media critics

       

      And yes, I do like to form my own opinions. But I take value in looking and analyzing things from multiple angled and even to an extent comparing things. It's fun until it gets pretentious
