ignore me I'm wrong, but didn;t the Salamence have a screen nuke that you had to break your line of 100%?

@Wolfox it did, but salamences moves only ever got triggered when it was either walking on the ground (hyper beam) or when you let it fly around for too long (earthquake). iirc if your line broke while salamence was flying or if you lifted the styler before it was fully captured it would use earthquake as well. but other than that, when salamence is flying around it can literally not attack at all, and you get plenty of time for the twenty loops you need. that makes salamence a kind of difficult but predictable capture.

last time I played through ranger I had more trouble with flygon tbh.
