      I mean you are questioning the man who stormed a fort with 4 men and won. Given they are all horsemen, it would be very possible they killed a couple soldiers and break through and flee.

      @Commander, do keep in mind that

      1. ephraim didnt have a horse yet

      2. orson wasnt with them when they escaped

      3. they were up against a horde of wyverns which moves slightly faster than the average cavalier

      4. fucking valter was there

       

      though the last point can be rendered moot since valter is fucking stupid and may not even have tried to capture them
