  1. I like the idea that cut can also kill the field or hinder it. You make an old move useful again and creatively hinder the field. Fire is so OP in this game though, it can destroy so many fields and boost its own field. Maybe we could add another way to hinder the field. Like freezing the plants over and hindering their growth.

  2. If only Leavanny could have Chloropyll and Swarm at the same time...

But I feel like anything with swarm will wreck this field. With Swords dance agility, Scolipede is an amazing option. Its in an impressive speed tier of 112 and has the all-powerful Megahorn. This thing does a flat 92% damage to fully defensive ferrothorn at full field power with a chance to OHKO (Yes I remembered to boost ferro's defenses as well). If you swords dance, you could even OHKO a non-defensive Primal Groudon and Defensive Weezing.

Seriously Ame, we may need a nerf cause *3 swarm and *2 STAB is a LOT. But I suppose its balanced since anyone besides the Gym Leader using it would just Burn this field to the ground.

While doing my calcs I noticed Skarmory (if we ever get it) Is an excellent defensive mon as always. Not even the mighty Scolipede will dent it. It will double resist any bug or grass moves. Rain Dance Support will weaken fire and a lightning rod companion like Mega Sceptile (or in game for now something like Jolteon) would stave off Thunders. Meanwhile this thing can set up spikes, phaze out the opponent with whirlwind, have flying STAB support with its pretty decent attack stat and....Yeah we are SOOO not getting this thing soon.

Only thing I dislike about this field is that, like so many others, we probably do not have the ability to create it naturally, It's a shame fun stuff like the Mountain, Cave, and even Chess Field can never be used outside of their arenas. But hopefully if we ever get online play we can have the option to battle on those fields at the start of the match.

  3. I remember for earlier episodes like 11 or 12 the wait would sometimes be 3-4 months. From what I've seen of the remaking of the city though, the wait is worth it. I was really just expecting to see some construction stuff put up everywhere, and some minimal work done to the city. But all of this remodeling is so incredible! I really want to see the final product and I will patiently for it.

Ame did say this would probably be the longest episode to add so I doubt the others would take as long. And even the Gen VII stuff may not take too long as long as she can let a select number of people in the community help implement it. However, I know she likes to take on certain tasks on her own. (Bless Her). So I don't know how it will go. But I'm willing to wait for one of my favorite games I've ever played!

  4. Okay, firstly is it competitive ability? If no, it may not matter.

Second, decide when to evolve it. Iggly is nice cause it evolves through the power of FRIENDSHIP. So, you can level it up to level 10 and learn all of iggly's moves. The first move it learns as jigglypuff is at level 11, disarming voice (which would be decent with competitive. If you want disarming then you need to walk around in circles or back and forth somewhere. Every 255 steps (i think) will raise its happiness. (Sadly there is no happiness checker to check how happy it is. It doesn't have to be max, just very happy.)

Then your moves learned are as follows (for jiggly)

    15 disable

    18 double slap

    21 rollout

24 round (probably your best move at this point)

So, yeah, just get that happiness up and evolve it by level 11. Iggly also learns copy cat at level 11 but that move is meh. Hopefully that power at level 21 or 24 can carry you through the battle. Good luck.

Another tip, maybe just look through the items you have. See if any x-attacks or something can help you out. Maybe a hold item. I think some pokes may hold berries at this stage of the game but i could be wrong.

Back when i did this run i had a ton of other fairies helping me. It's much harder now. But i do know your pain cause i had to grind in a similar fashion to beat the first tangrowth on my monorock run.

  5. I respect all of your opinions, as indeed no game is perfect. However, as far as Arceus goes, I view it as more of a "you are meant to give up and lose boss". The nice thing about that fight is you can choose to agree with El, and then he'll "spare" you after you get wrecked so you don't have to restart or run back to the shrine. But that is a little difficult to find out if you keep siding with Radomus or restart after each loss.

But I do enjoy facing the Arceus and Garchomp as a challenge and beating them on every run with one trick or another.

  6. When the full game is released, it won't be called episode 19 anyway. So the numbers won't matter then. As for the two badge one episode thing, Ame obviously decided plot wise that there isn't enough reason to prevent the player from getting two badges in one episode. Do you really want her to make up some silly forced reason to draw out the game just to get the episode count to 20? I sure don't
