  1. Spoiler

I'm no expert by any means but people I've known with the same kind of feelings as Amaria are often nice people. The beginning of the game was not an act by any means.

The only facade Amaria has put up is her confidence. She is constantly doubting herself and relies on the people she trusts to make sure she is doing the right thing. And when she feels insecure. She feels insecure about everything. Titania could truly love her with all of her heart but Ama would still feel like Tania hates her. She is thinking, why would Titania ever love someone who acts like this. The fact that this is true undoubtedly makes this all the worse. She ends up pushing away the people that are helping her all the more because she sees herself as a burden to them.

They are both selfish. Titania should realize she is not all there is between Amaria and death. Her pretending only makes things worse and validates her insecurity. She acts like leaving Ama is what's best for herself. But really it would be a lot easier to leave if Titania realized that leaving IS what is best for Ama too. At least as a lover. They are great friends and should stay that way but this relationship is bad for both of them and Titania is too selfish to see the detriment to anyone but herself.

    Spoiler

I can't help but notice this little theme being called back from Black and White. In those games there were two heroes and the dragon that helped them create/save Unova or something.

The two heroes eventually came to a disagreement and went their separate ways. The dragon itself was also torn by their argument. One half of the dragon became Reshiram and followed the hero that pursued Truth. The other half became Zekrom and followed the hero that pursued Ideals. The empty  shell it left behind became Kyurem.

I get the feeling Ame is trying to tell us something about each path we took. While those of us who wanted to help Take and with that choice were able to save his life and recieved the Zekrom path, the ones that led to his death received Reshiram. Perhaps it means that while Ideally we want to save everyone and have a happy ending, Taka's death is necessary to reach the True ending.

I can definitely see his death having an impact on a few characters. His father for one will begin to distrust Lin even more. Also, through his dialogue while travelling the desert, Taka seemed to be close to Zel and Blake of all people. His death is what could be needed to split Team Meteor in two. If he lives, while ideal, we cannot reach that conclusion and will perhaps see a bitter sweet ending because of it.

It would also be cool if we had a secret third path where you make bad choices throughout the game and receive the Kyurem path.

  3. Spoiler

I'm guessing the excadrill. That fairy tale field is nonsense. At least other fields can be changed naturally. I ended up changing the field to a rainbow, just so I could set up one nasty plot with Mismagius. Then i swept every stupidly boosted mom on her team barring the aegislash

  4. For sm it works well because if you want your mons to be left somewhere to level up you can use the pelago.

If we don't have pelago in reborn then there is no where to leave your pokemon to level up.

Though personally I wouldn't mind the new way because I don't like when it chooses new moves for me

  5. The games that give superpowers do a really good job of making you feel like a background extra. If your character doesn't have all these crazy powers like Nom, Crescent, and X then what are they really doing? Everything seems inconsequential. Winning battles is all you can do but once you win its just like. "We were just humoring you with those childish battles. Time to blast you to smithereens like I could have done in the first place."

I have the same problem with insurgence where people have teleportation and what not. It's like, why are we even fighting, this guy is on an entirely different level than me.

  6. I agree with Alistair above. But at the same time I would love to have some on hand items like sleeppowder. I'd never use them in a serious battle but it would be so helpful against things like wild pokemon.

It really reminds me of earthbound and final fantasy where some spells can be cast but there are items that do the same thing.

I mean, we already have the powder vial which is basically what you stated above just not usable in battle.

I would like to see it in future installments of the main series games

  7. There are lots of great and underappreciated fairies at the start of the game and available throughout. Don't import any mons but instead use this run to gain a better appreciation for the type as a whole and not just its s-rank fighters

    Things

    Primarina

    Jigglypuff

    Swirlix

    And more with ep17

Will be available very early on and deserve much more love than they get
