I recently finished Shinsekai yori, and I feel like I have to mention this anime somewhere, because of how amazing it is. This show fucks with your mind so badly, especially on the very end of it. It takes plot twists when you less expect them to happen and is not afraid of disposing of characters to see how dark the story can get as it advances. I've actually ended this for a few days now, and I STILL can't get over it, not only because of the amazing writing, but mainly since it actually creeped me out and gave me chills, something very few shows have managed to do to me. This is all I'm going to say besides what might be in the synopsis for it. And that it contains a bit of shoujo ai and shounen ai, for those into that. PLEASE WATCH THIS SHOW. srsly. easily one of my all-time favorite anime.

yea, im not too sure about going with that one either. chances are ill try an autumn one or a spring one with vines all over it and a slight color change to match spring better. ill also do keldeo with waves and possibly rainbow hair eventually (when i can <<). only help i need right now is with virizion, specifically the flowers' positions. ill figure something out for the main color change, once the former issue is dealt with.

cant help but agree here too. i was expecting them to go a bit moreover the parasytes' origins, but i guess the explanation shinichii provided through out this final episode works.

alright, here's a quick try on spring virizion later, ill also add flowers on the head and replace the scarf by a gracidea flower with some leaves around it. ill also do keldeo with waves tomorrow, probably.

johto trio-themed cobalion/terrakion/virizion so... that turned out a lot worse than i'd expected <<. the yellow on cobalion isn't too bad-looking, but it's still kinda meh and would need some work on. terrakion is... a mess, once again. virizion looks decent, but that's just because almost anything looks good on virizion. the only reason why im posting this is just to let you guys see what this ended up looking like. also, if they'd looked better, i would've likely added some more details, such as raikou/suicune's dark/white spots on cobalion/virizion. im going to try this out tomorrow, though, i have a feeling in might not work out too well in virizion and keldeo. even if you make a slight color change and add flowers/waves, it might still look too similar to the original, unless i turn virizion's skin, for example, into a fucking garden. also, when/if i do this, ill probably add a bit of snow or ice on cobalion and perhaps autumn leaves (or something else) on terrakion too, to go along with the other two d: if this doesn't work out either, i think im going to go with a sand-based terrakion i came across earlier, and use one of the latter three virizions that are on the first post of this page. cobalion will look the same, tho i might consider making the colors more distinguishable, if that bothers anyone. i won't touch keldeo and i'll just let someone who's good with rainbows/mlp handle it XD.

idk myself... im still not entirely convinced by the orange/red horns, since they look quite similar to the original shiny. plus, the green feels kind of awkward there... if summer doesnt really work on it, i should just go with something entirely different. also, one thing i had considered (but would require to change remaining two of the trio) was to make cobalion, terrakion and virizion mimic suicune, entei and raikou. entei would correspond to terrakion, while the other two could switch between each other, but ideally, suicune-themed cobalion and raikou-themed virizion would most likely be better. if anyone else is curious on this, i can make some sprites real quick.

i considered doing that, but earlier in the thread, people showed interest in making another mlp reference, so i decided not to bother with it. plus, im crap when it comes to rainbows. i happen to like virizion better for the same reason - cobalion was actually kinda lazy, i didnt even change the original skin tone used. as monochrome said, you can't distinct the colors too much; however, after looking at it for a while and trying to get a different skin color, i sort of saw this lack of distinction as a good thing: winter gives me a very calm feel, almost as if even time itself freezes. most winter colors look all the same with bare/non-relevant changes, and, because of this, i decided to leave it as it was and post it just like that. however, if not everyone agrees, i can try to find a better-looking skin color or even change some other things up a bit (for example, i was considering to give it a bit of green/red, because christmas). the only other thing about cobalion that's the same as the original is the beard, though im keeping that as it is, because i had also tried it black (which is the only other color that'd look good in terms of contrast and would still be different enough) and it look very appealing to me. regarding virizion, the only problem i had with it after having it done was the contrast between the skin and the main autumn color (wasn't light enough), so i instantly fixed that, just forgot to post it/edit the original post. in any case, i tried to change it up a bit, to see if i got something closer to autumn, as gaunt suggested, though, it ended up looking too much like summer imo. later, i might also try a stronger/more vivid red-like autumn on the body (see red used in the eye/neck/legs), if the first virizion isn't good enough. regarding terrakion... this one is being a pain. i spent probably 5 hours trying to find something that would look good on it (mainly the crown-like thing above its head/back), and i still havent managed anything decent enough, not even close to summer. the ps file itself is a mess, it has so many layers with infinite combinations, all of which look really bad, but, in any case, this is what im seeing right now: orange/red/yellow dont work in any way possible. yellow (only if sand-like yellow) somewhat works on the face/skin, depending on the other colors used. the thing ive changed the least is the main body, which is currently light-blue-grey. and, the worst part of it, or rather, the hardest one to find a good color to is the "crown". again, i strongly welcome suggestions on this one, because ive probably ran out of ideas myself - doesn't matter how "bad" it might look, ill do and post anything you request me to. if im lucky enough, i might come across something that actually looks good. here are some other things i came across before this: http://imgur.com/b1mGZ1P,wWkFpj8,41EXdwl,YDYaOlK,QJloB0Z,FmTLl9b#5

winter cobalion and autumn virizion i did terrakion too, but it turned out really... gross. im going to work on it, but i'll just say that "summer colors" (red, orange, yellow, sea blue) dont really work on it, so im going to focus on sand colors, since it's a rock-type. regardless, any suggestions are welcome :] also, can i just say how amazing that darmanitan line looks like? i especially like the purple gradient used and the white possessed-like eyes. darumaka's orange kinda bothers me tho, shouldnt it just follow darmanitan?
