    Hot damn I see it now. Years after I went down that road, tried to write that story, and I finally see where it can be salvaged, where it truly went awry and got out of control... if I just shave off all that extra stuff, correct the damage that in my ambitious war path, I unwittingly inflicted... then maybe, just maybe, it can be reborn. Truly reborn...not just imitated by a spiritual successor series
