      Did you try using the "Special BBCode" Button? it's the third one from the left at the Topmost Row of Text Editing Tools. I've tried it many times now, and it worked fine each time i've used it. just Click it, then Click the "BBCode" List (It's labeled "Please Select"), and you'll find "Spoiler" in there somewhere near the bottom of the list.
