  1. Erm should this sub-forum be visible for non-members too? I haven't checked these forums in a few months so I spent the last 30 minutes panicking after I couldn't find any sign of Rejuvenation. I was about to login and make a thread when this sub-forum reappeared much to my relief.
  2. I haven't checked this thread in several months but has this game been released? If it hasn't is there any approximate ETA?
  3. I first found it in at pokecommunity iirc, gave it a quick once over, liked somewhat it and left. Then I heard you were interviewing Amethyst so I watched both those videos. Went digging around in your past videos and got interested further, subscribed so I could learn about its release date. Since it won't be following the conventional pokemon formula in terms of story (I vaguely recall hearing this in your above interview), how long do you think the game will be?
  4. Been aware of this game for a while but haven't been following it closely. Is there any ETA on release date yet? It looks fantastic, will be released in episodes or in one whole piece?
  5. Is that in V6? Can't find it. I'm not playing V6 until I finish V5 due to stability issues. Also, was swords dance taken out of Ninjask's movepool? I de-levelled my nincada to 24 and tried to evolve but got nothing.
  6. Thanks for the info. I heard via searching the forum that there was a dusk stone near Odd Tower, I can't find it on the map, any idea where Odd Tower is?
  7. Is there a heart scale move teacher/rememberer in Rejuvenation yet? If yes then where are they? I haven't played for a while and can't recall.

    Easiest Gym?

Gyarados wasn't a part of my team until really late, around ep 13 or so. I started playing the game at around ep 7 so I was able to get magikarp easily before the changes. But I just let it sit in the box doing nothing while playing with whichever mons I liked, which made the game a lot harder. Then I heard how powerful Gyarados was and decided to level it up and try it out. It was a strong team member but never a complete butcher (mostly due to my mishandling). Usually the opponent would have something capable of taking it down, be it speed or electric or field enhanced attacks. This was the first time for me the Gyarados destroyed a gym leader. Didn't even give Ciel a chance to use a hyper potion. Gyarados took no damage whatsoever.

    Easiest Gym?

Ciel. Gyarados just one shotted her entire team. Was shocked at the lack of fight, first time its ever happened in a gym battle.
  10. I just beat Ciel on my first try. First time I ever beat a gym leader without trouble. Literally the easiest gym battle I've had in the game. Everything went right and I just swept her team. Or nearly everything, things weren't going well after her first mon Togekiss easily beat my first two mons. I can finally see why gyarados was made a mid game pokemon that you have jumps hoops to get. First the Togekiss switches out, letting me get a dragon dance off. Then the slaughter began, through the use of STAB Waterfall and Ice Fang I destroyed her. It only got worse with Moxie. Literally one shot everything. At the end the destroyer was sitting on +2 speed and +6 attack. It was surreal, I felt vaguely insulted by the lack of challenge after the epic showdown with Team Meteor.
  11. Just defeated Madelis and her bloody Shadow Mewtwo after nearly two hours of trying. Just seeing her freak out afterwards made it completely worth it. Wiped that smug expression off her face. Shame it didn't alter the events after or more of the dialogue. Where do you get the itemfinder by the way? Just got the 2nd badge.
  12. Yeah, dw I found it. I guess I was trying to save two trips and 600 bucks.
  13. I'm a stuck atm. I don't know how to get rock smash. I just beat Venam and the runaway kid said that a gang in Gearen has it. So I go to the place and the gang's leader, a woman with orange hair simply tells me to get stronger. I don't what to do, all my mons are lvl 19 or 20.
  14. Oh wow, thats an ingenious solution. Has it been released yet? I notice there isn't listing for Calm Mind in the items guide. So I'm guessing its coming in a future update. Anyway, its a relief to know this has been thought through. I don't mind the wait.
  15. Yeah, shofu's LP of Reborn is hilarious. Though the mistakes he makes or just lucks into... sometimes they can be headache inducing. He was the reason why I found this game so I'm fond of him.
  16. Ooops I competely misremembered. Yeah I got Calm Mind instead of Psychic. So theres no way of getting trick room for older players? I'm having trouble parsing this sorry, what are you affirming? Who gives Trick Room? Btw: whats the highest level cap of the latest update?
  17. Hi, I heard you can get Trick Room after beating Radomus. Unfortunately, in my playthrough I beat Radomus before Trick Room was put in the game and got Psychic instead. Is there any way to obtain Trick Room? I don't want to start a new save just yet.
  18. Hello, I'd like to ask for improvements and advice regarding my reborn team. I'm sure there are lots of problems since I'm not a competitive battler. I don't EV train at all... I've been playing the game for a year and been having a blast though its been super tough at times. Then I thought I might as well ask all the pros here for tips and advice. I haven't been paying too much thought to composition, just having fun with whatever comes along. My current team: 1. Arcanine lvl 67 Intimidate HP206 A185 D138 SA167 SD126 S152 Flamethrower Bite Strength Thunder Fang Comments: Yeah not the best move pool, I used to have strength and rock smash. Some advice on better moves would be appreciated. Thinking of bringing roar back, saw some hilarious stuff in one of Nickaboo's old videos with roar and stealth rocks. Unsure if I should remove strength since it is base 80 and attack is the best stat. 2. Infernape Iron Fist lvl 70 HP199 A187 D135 SA170 SD122 S182 Close Combat Acrobatics Grass Knot Flare Blitz Comments: My powerhouse, saved me many times. Grass Knot may be questionable but it did come in handy in the recent episode against Terra. Oh dear, just noticed his ability right now, thats negligent of me. Which moves would best suit it? Any room for improvement? 3. Gyarados Moxie lvl 61 HP208 A155 D157 SA101 SD144 S110 Waterfall Dragon Dance Ice Fang Bite Comments: recent addition, decided to finally take advantage of starting the game back in ep 8. Did not quite finish training him but he performed quite well. 4. Scrafty Intimidate lvl 68 HP 173 A154 D196 SA99 SD179 S109 Brick Break Hi Jump Kick Crunch Facade Comments: another powerhouse, been delivering since I got it. HJK is rarely used and could be replaced but the situations where it is used are desperate, still on the fence with it. I don't use facade at all but it seems like it could be handy. The tank of the team. 5. Lumineon Swift Swim lvl 71 HP196 A113 D143 SA132 SD131 S167 Bounce Surf Rain Dance Silver Wind Comments: This guy has saved from so many tight spots and close fights. Originally got it while desperately searching for a way to negate Serra's hail after the 30th loss (arguably my worst fight). Rain dance was a good substitute for sunny day and allowed me to finally win. Then Bounce unexpectedly saved me while fighting Samson. I was not expecting this guy to be the highest level mon in the team. I don't use Silver Wind much though and I haven't used rain dance a lot recently. 6. Flygon Levitate lvl 68 HP203 A184 D117 SA132 SD136 S155 Dragon Claw Dig Dragon Tail Crunch Comments: A result of my addiction to the coin flip tables. Came on board a couple of eps ago, has performed well. 7. Alakazam lvl 66 Synchronize HP157 A103 D75 SA196 SD127 S177 Psychic Future Sight Shadow Ball Recover Comments: Spends most of the time on the bench since he get XP so fast due to being traded. Only bring him out for important fights. He's a glass cannon. Considering something bulkier like a Gardevoir. 8. Pachirisu Pick Up lvl 58 HP146 A85 D98 SA71 SD118 S136 Discharge Charm Super Fang Thunder Wave Comments: This little guy has been with me virtually the start and played a pivotal role early to mid game with Charm and TW (such as Kiki). Though he has been outpaced in the newest episodes. Still need to level him up for his faithful service. 9. Beartic Swift Swim lvl 69 HP219 A158 D118 SA119 SD116 S87 Icicle Crash Rest Blizzard Hail Comments: Just caught him very recently for Terra, haven't changed the moves at all. Is he a worthwhile mon and what moves should I get? I've been looking around and caught a bunch of possible new pokemon to add (please suggest which should have priority to train): Sealeo (Walrein) Boldore Noibat (Noivern) Pawniard (Bisharp) Snorunt (Glailie) Ralts Haunter (Gengar when I get another linkstone) Staraptor Druddigon Luxray (still have a ton of coins left over from the addiction, could easily buy everything in the game corner) Furfrou Parasect Mienfoo (Mienshao) Golbat (hopefully Crobat if I can figure out happiness, which I think is winning lots of battles without fainting) Gligar Mareep (Ampharos) Which pokemon do you think I should catch and train? Which pokemon should I replace? Which moves should be replaced and with what? (I alway enjoy reading reasoning) What level should I train up to? Items? I'm always paranoid of level cap and fake "gym battles" so leave them underleveled just in case. This does come back to bite me though.
  19. Yeah I meant Samson not Hardy my mistake *facepalm*, edited out the mistakes. So it hasn't risen, good to know. Thank you.
  20. Found out about the new episode about a week ago. Beat Samson a few days ago after an epic battle. Most of my mons were around lvl 60-62, but my lvl 48 Pachirisu utterly wreaked Hardy's team totally by accident, hence the avatar (via two crucial thunder waves and one hilariously unlucky switch out). Then the most unexpected mon on my team nearly swept half of his team. My unremarkable lvl 60 Lumineon which I'd kept for some slapdash water coverage from Cal and some bug coverage against Radomus, gave an unbelievably good showing via bounce (plus the arena's field effect, I'm still curious why acrobatics wasn't affected it). In the end Lumineon emerged as the highest level mon in my whole team (around lvl 63). Still it was a tough fight, it took around 5 attempts and my team was on all red. The first few times were brute force attacks with the main team to scout out what he had, then I decided to try out Pachirisu (which has earned some grateful grinding) and learned about bounce. Just want to ask a few questions: - Did Samson's badge actually raise the level cap? Because when I was reading the post battle script it mentioned nothing about it. So is the cap still lvl70? or did it go up to 75? - What are the prizes for the circus games? I've already got the clefairy and Dive. Also, that puzzle on Route 2 was mind-bogglingly complex. My hat off to Amethyst for crafting it. Even when I learned of the Crustle mechanism it took quite a while. I accidentally picked the north puzzle first and you couldn't believe how annoyed I was when it led to a dead end. This episode was a little short but it was highly entertaining.
  21. I'm kinda lost atm. I just reached 7th street and I don't know where to go. I've done the new Gang sidequest about Craudberry and battled the magma members and leader again. I'm not sure what to do next. I know I saw a dude who said he saw someone headed to the scrapyards. I don't know where that is...
  22. Hi, I picked up Reborn in ep 10 and this is my first time updating. I want to ask how to update to ep 11. I haven't found the answer in the FAQ so I'm asking here. I originally thought updating up to ep 11 involved downloading a separate file only containing ep 11 (I vaguely remember a Nickaboo video describing this) yet when I follow the downoad link it goes straight to the game page which has only has a link for the main game containig ep 1-11. So do I have to download the whole game again and then move my save file into it? I just noticed Reborn being updated a couple of days back so forgive me for being a slowpoke. Looks like I'll have to grind up my Flygon which I forgot to do *sigh*.
  23. He beat me a few times until I improvised. I caught a lvl 52 Paras, evolved it next level and taught it spore using a heart scale. That made Radomus much easier. Put 3-4 of his pokes to sleep and then killed them by spamming dark moves. Still, that gossip gardevoir could have steamrolled my whole team anyway. She did that the first time, 2nd time the AI stuffed up. Instead of using hidden power (fighting) to kill my scrafty she used 3 calm minds and a wish. All the while my scrafty was SE'ing it with dark moves and killed her. I felt kinda disapointed tbh. Thats Radomus and El in the banner of the forum isn't it? I wonder if theres a story behind that scene...
  24. Shade was pretty tough for me, I had to get some emergency grinding done to get an edge (I was pretty underlevelled). Serra was the absolute hardest for me. It took me around 30 tries to beat her... ugh bad memories that. Snow cloak was a nightmare and I was pretty mad when 100 acc moves started to miss. Its funny since I almost beat her on my first non-serious go but her last mon, a red hp glaceon scored a critical hit on my green hp alakazam. Also frost breath and blizzard were powerful moves spammed constantly. The guaranteed crit on the former was brutal while the 100% acc on the latter was pure pain. The key to beating her was breaking the hail affect. Drought's the best but rain dance works well enough. Aya was my favourite, took a few goes but then we were both down to our last mons. Her fully minimised muk and my 2 calm minded kadabra, it was a tense game, me missing repeatedly but knowing one hit would kill and praying for no crits. I vaguely remember flobot being somewhat difficult. I breezed past noel somehow.
