  1. Fortune III: turning 4 Diamonds into 12 Diamonds since... Uhh... what year were enchantments added exactly?

    1. CURIE

      CURIE

Literally 5 minutes after posting that, I found 4 more blocks of Diamond ore, and this time my Fortune III pickaxe netted me 13 diamonds from them!

  2. I'm suprised there's been no topic in the Trainer's Journal or anywhere else about KIC 8462852. I mean, scientists actually believed for a while that we had found an alien superstructure. But as of two days ago that theory's been all but thrown out the window, so making a topic now won't really get any attention.

  3. Zygarde's forms and Ash Greninja are finally coming to the games... by which I mean they're coming to Picross. Oh and it's Japan only.

  4. Uh, I was mostly joking about that part (mostly...) but keep in mind, if Pokemon Z were announced even today it wouldn't actually arrive until after the VGC finals in August.
  5. They new we're never getting another main series game, so they needed to come up with a way to keep it from being an exact copy of this past year. Apparently their idea was to utterly break it.
  6. So the guys at VGC knew we're never gonna get another main series game, so they need a way to make it different from this past year's. What do they do? They completley break it.

  7. You might as well have just asked us what our favorite Pokemon were.
  8. Update 82: Abigail So, first things first. I grinded everyone up to the level cap of 80. That is, everyone except Sassy. Why did I skip her, you ask? Well, meet the newest member of the team. I went back to the Water Treatment Center and soft reset a ton for a Fennekin with good IVs and Heat Wave. The result I named Abigail, after my waifu partner in Super Mystery Dungeon who was also a Fennekin. I trained her to the max in Special Attack, and split the remaining EVs evenly in speed and the defenses. Threw the leftovers into HP. I also, of course, evolved her and grinded her to the level cap. She is Sassy’s replacement. Sorry Sassy, but unlike Pumpkin you don’t have an amazling ability to keep you relevant despite having sub-par stats. Anyway, Abigail’s moves are Psychic, Heat Wave, Will-O-Wisp, and, well, wasn’t sure what to use for the last move slot. If I had the TM for it, I would have said Calm Mind. But until then, I guess I’ll just go with Grass Knot to cover against Rock, Ground, and Water types. She will not hold an item, because I intend to take full advantage of her ability being Magician. If needed, though, I’ll give her a fire/psychic gem for a bit extra power. Also, I can’t help but notice that she gets boosted exp as if I got her in a trade. Not sure why that is, but I’m not complaining. Sorry for the short update, but there’s not really much else I can do as I wait for the next version to come. I wonder, though, if Abigail will end up replacing Braveheart as well as Sassy. Only time will tell, I guess. See you when episode 16 is here. Which will probably be a really, really, REALLY long time. P.S. In case you’re curious about Abigail’s hidden power type, it’s Bug. So basically it’s a Signal Beam without the chance to confuse. I think I’ll stick with Grass Knot.
  9. I forget, that Espurr you get in Periodot Ward where you pay the hobo until he moves, what level is it?

    1. BreezyPonie

      BreezyPonie

      I think Level 5 or 10.

    2. Matryoshka

      Matryoshka

Level 4 if I remember correctly

    3. Commander

      Commander

I swear its level 3 or some really low level when you get it.

  10. Phione's safari is back but since I already have it I get to sit back and laugh at the suffering of others

    1. Cepheus

      Cepheus

with the exception that they now straight out mention all Pokemon catchable in the info... except Phione :P

  11. Well nevermind about Shofu learning how field effects now. Knowing him he'll never find a single one of those collectibles, after all he's played the entire game without finding a heart scale. By the way, if you leave any of them in the city when you go to Agate, the changes to the place when you return won't make them inaccessable, would they? If that happened, I'm not sure that would be good game design.
  12. How long has Hoopa's movie been out in Japan now? Because it STILL doesn't have subtitles

      mde2001

I watched a dubbed version of it on youtube.

    3. Hiss13

      Hiss13

      @mde

That was the direct to TV air of the dub which someone likely recorded (and edited out commercials), I assume.

Again, subs don't come out for anime movies until the BD/DVDs are released.

      mde2001

Ah, that explains it. Thanks :D

  13. Long story short, I wanted to wait to continue the story past a certain point until after episodes 14 and 15 came out respectivley. After episode 16 came out, well, it took that long because of a combination of business and laziness Mainly Pyrous Mountain for Special Attack training. But also the Citae Arc d'howeveryouspellit for Special Defense
  14. Update 81: Ciel For the first time since I’ve started this run, I’m at the end of the current episode. All that’s left is a gym battle, and it happens to be the first gym leader with a mega evolution. Like with Samson, it’s in the Big Top field, so like last time I brought DiggersbyTho despite type disadvantage. First up was Togekiss, who I knew was a fast paraflinch haxxer with a King’s Rock and Serene Grace. After setting up screens (it couldn’t flinch me because Prankster) I went to Apollo, who is not only faster but immune to Thunder Wave. One Thunderbolt almost KOed it, but of course Ciel tried to delay things with Hyper Potions. I used weaker moves to keep the thing barely alive, so as to let her waste her healing items. Next up was Archeops, and while that thing was fast, Apollo was faster. Thunderbolt one shot it. Next up was Noivern, and the whole monkey business with Togekiss had wasted my screens already. I went to Pumpkin to put them back up, and he died by the time they were finished. I went to Dashie and tried to get the ball rolling with Echoed Voice, but it wasn’t to be. I one shot Noivern, but the second hit was only barely survived by Gliscor despite being stronger than Moonblast AND boosted by the field. Oh, and Dashie herself was almost dead. I had to get her out of there and sent in Strider, who finished it off with Surf. Talonflame was next, and I gave DiggersbyTho a turn. He one shot it with Rock Tomb. And for the grand finale there was the Pokemon I was most worried about, the Mega Altaria. I kept DiggersbyTho in as a sacrifice, to heal Dashie with a Hyper Potion. Diggersby obviously went down to a Hyper Voice. Now was the moment of truth: Could Dashie survive a field boosted Pixilated Hyper Voice before OHKOing with the Nuclear Trump Card? Well, I guess we’ll never know, because Altaria used Earthquake instead. It only got a “nice”, so Dashie survived it easily, and the Nuclear Trump Card won me yet another key battle. I’m now finished with the story of the current release. Under normal circumstances, I would be hesitant to go back to the city while I wait for the next episode. It wouldn’t feel “legit” to be doing things that I’m supposed to be locked out of. However, it’s pretty much 110% confirmed we will be going back there canonically in episode 16, so I’m fine with it this time. That’s why I’ve waited up until now to do the Fennekin event, because I was waiting to have some key EV training spots opened back up for me.
  15. Remember how the last Minecraft Snapshot broke Ender Pearl Elevators? Well now we can still make them, but this time out of cobwebs instead of tripwire

    1. CURIE

      CURIE

However, it's gonna take twice as many Ender Pearls...

  16. How long until Undertale's popularity takes a complete 180 like Five Nights at Freddy's did and it becomes widely hated

series by dragging out the lifespan to an unnatural level. If a game is good enough to be a classic, then the devs shouldn't need to constantly pump out subsequently related games just to remind anyone that the thing even existed in the first place.

    3. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Ah, me and Strat, the Masters of the TL;DR that is half as long as the original. But yea, I don't think we're getting a sequel to Undertale, so I don't think they're going to milk it into oblivion quite like FnaF did... not to mention FnaF is still... kinda popular to the point as mcuh as it's hated. THere's always those that venemontly hate something for whatever their reasons as well XD>

    4. anethia

      anethia

most people that hate fnaf hate it from the fanbase which is a side effect of it becoming so popular since the fans do crazy shit and have stupid theories/headcanons and every fandom has them but due to how widespread the fnaf fandom was everyone hated it. there's always stupid shit. i mean there's the theory that absolutely every main character has some kind of disability or is transgender and im LITERALLY not even joking.

  17. Just finished with Symphonic Evolutions, and... I mean, they did an amazing job with what they were given, but their actual selection of songs was pretty bad. They skipped literally ALL the best tracks. Also I was told there would be spinoff music and there wasn't.

  18. Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions is in Orlando tonight, I'm gonna have to drive 3 hours straight to get there but it's my only real chance to attend

  19. Fun fact: It's been a huge topic of debate wether or not Team Charm's Gardevoir is actually the same Gardevoir from Rescue Team. Super Mystery Dungeon's connection orb finally ends this debate, confirming that she is in fact the Gardevoir from the Ninetails legend. That, or she just happens to be friends with a Gengar who just happens to know an Ekans. And just happens to talk just like the Gengar from Rescue Team

    1. Commander

      Commander

I'd take those connection orbs with a grain of salt. Yeah they are references of past characters, but there are a couple funky one. Why is Emolga connected to Virizion when it honestly should be Dunsparce since he's closer to her.

  20. If you look closely, Batman has a gun in the latest trailer. The fanboy rage is gonna be amazing

    1. Shamitako

      Shamitako

...even the not fanboy rage is gonna be amazing

Like, one of Batman's big things has always been his refusal to use guns (unless they were attached to a vehicle or other loophole device owo)

    2. Bearadactyl

      Bearadactyl

Batman used guns before he was established in his own comics, though.

  21. What if the Sand Continent in Super Mystery Dungeon isn't actually new, but instead is based off the Japan only Mystery Dungeon game? What, you didn't know that existed? There's a reason for that...

    1. Commander

      Commander

      It's a wiiware game about cookies ._.

    2. CURIE

      CURIE

Which would explain why the Sand Continent is so small

    3. Flynn

      Flynn

I dunno why but reading this status and then Commander's response just made me laugh so hard.

  22. So since Ender Pearl elevators are done for, I wonder if you can exploit the way Chorus Fruit works to make a Chorus Fruit elevator...

  23. RIP Ender Pearl elevators. The changes to thrown items makes them no longer trigger or be triggered by tripwire.

    1. Sutoratosu

      Sutoratosu

Well, look at the bright side... You can still just pour a buck of water over a hole leading down and just traverse the old fashion way...

probably not as cool or effective as teleporting, mind you, but it can still get the job done in most cases...

  24. Update 80: The Fiore Gauntlet, Part 3 Your third and final battle is against Solaris and a generic minion. Now, chances are you fought him with Florina by your side, however if you beat Solaris’ Garchomp back on Pyrous Mountain like I did, the scene is a bit different. Instead of ragequitting Team Meteor, Fern says something along the lines of “we could’ve done this together, but YOU threw me away” and “you really are a stupid robot with no feelings” to Florina. She begins to show a bit of emotion for once at this, and then Fern storms out. This time, however, he says he’ll meet up with team Meteor later, meaning that in this timeline he’s still in their club. He also says he’s fine if they kill Florina, which Sirius tries to do with Seviper’s Poison Fang. She survives but is knocked out. Just when it seems like you’re gonna have to fight Sirius alone, Julia busts out of her icy cage and comes to help you. The two opponents for this battle lead with Wishcash and Scizor, and Julia starts with Electrode (finally, no more Sandstorm!). After putting up dual screens, I went to Strider, and Scizor U-turned on me and went to Excadrill. I had to take a turn to heal, and when I did Electrode killed Excadrill and out came… oh great. Tyranitar. I AM gonna have to deal with Sandstorm after all. It took two Grass Knots to take Tyranitar down, and while I was doing that Julia Boomed herself. It accomplished nothing, as it barely did any damage to anyone but herself. Her next Pokemon was Elektross, and Scizor came back out. I switched to Braveheart, but it didn’t matter because Elektross also had Flamethrower. Also Scizor had somehow predicted the switch and used Superpower to bring me to half health. No, it couldn’t have been planning to use it on a Dark type Strider, because he was Grass type at the time. Gyrados was next, and I knew it would use Waterfall or Aqua Tail, so I switched to Apollo to eat that up. Thunderbolt obviously took it down in one hit, and Elektross used Giga Drain to FINALLY kill Wishcash. Mandibuzz replaced Gyrados and Kecleon replaced Wishcash. Electross used Volt Switch and switched to Magnezone, but Kecleon ALSO predicted it and used Drain Punch. Mandibuzz went down to Thunderbolt, and now it was Garchomp’s turn. Shame I didn’t bring Strawberry along. Well instead I went to Dashie, and due to Magneton exploding I realized I couldn’t get a single move off before it took me down. I had to sacrifice both Pumpkin and Braveheart just to use a Hyper Potion on Dashie and get her on the field without being 2 shotted. Now that I had my chance, I knew I couldn’t waste it trying to set up Echoed Voice, so I just went for Moonblast hoping for a OHKO. I got it, thankfully. Turns out that was Solaris’ last Pokemon, leaving only the generic minion’s side of the field left. After a quick Moomoo Milk, I started spamming Echoed Voice, and after being properly set up it swept every enemy left. The whole scene with Chandelure and flooding the house stays the same, but afterwards the characters have to tend to Florina. Now, if you were paying attention to certain diary entries back in the Onyx School, you’d already know that Titania was the reason Flobot is… the way she is. Well if you didn’t find that, then this storyline is where you find out. Apparently Florina trusted Titania with something, and then was betrayed. The details aren’t elaborated on, but the scene with Amaria continues as normal. “But wait” you say. “Florina had a bunch of lines in that scene but right now she’s unconscious!” Yeah, it’s weird, in the middle of the scene she just pops back up acts as if nothing had happened. She still talks like a robot. Now all that’s left is my final battle with Ciel. For now, I’m gonna go bring all my guys back to level 75, stock up on supplies, and teach my new HM move to the new HM slave. See you next time.
