Oh speaking of GX : as I told DarkLight in private, this roleplay does NOT follow anime's timeline (and there is also th fact that Domino and Heartland are two different city), so please do not exaggerate with the anime references... I mean, DarkLight's one might make sense because she simply said she was a fan of this aweome duelist of the past named Zane, who at some point was involved in illegal duels: regardless of anime's relevance to our roleplay, that's a pretty legit backstory. But bringing up the whole Bio-Bands incident means brining up Yubel, and considering that, in this story, we don't even have Duel Spirits, I'd rather avoid that...

Thank you for avoiding me the double post Turbo, I have had this post ready since this morning and I was waiting for someone to post... So firstly, I have prepared a list of recurring NPCs. These are the NPCs that will always be around during "After School" topics: when exploring the city, you will be free to interact with them should you run into them (notice that this is actually recommended, as it is the main way to obtain info for your investigations). Each NPC will have a distinct personality, so the method to obtain info from them won't be the same for anyone: some may refuse to give away ino outright, some may agree only if you address them in a specific way, some may ask for something in return, some may be difficult to approach, so that you'll need to talk about a specific topic to break the ice, and some may challenge you to a duel. Also notice that this list does not cover ALL the NPCs that will appear during the "After School" topics: there will be plenty of one-shot NPCs, and/or NPCs that will appear only in specific occasions. This list only inculdes the recurring ones, that is those who will be possible to meet in ALL of the "After School" topics. I'll see if this list fits in the OP. So yeah, enjoy the "At School" topic for now, and get ready to meet these people during the upcoming "After School" session! If you want further info, feel free to ask. Secondly, I am removing the Arcana Numbers nobody claimed from the list in the OP: those of them that aren't Deck Locked will be threated as normal Numbers in possession of some rogue Number Holder, so you guys will have the opportunity to claim them. As for those that are Deck Locked, I will decide of their fate later on this week. Thirdly, I have somehow forgotten to mention this publicly, but King Murdoc has agreed to be our co-host. I am adding this info to the OP, Murdoc I am sorry for not mentioning this earlier, I really don't know how I could forget!

To Gawyn Anna's smile didn't change one bit upon hearing Gawyn's question. If anything, she was a bit offended by the fact that he didn't seem all that distracted by her considerable sex appeal, but she wasn't going to show that either. My oh my, professor, your words really break my heart: don't you remember? We started our teaching careers more or less in the same period, but while you were succesful right away, I had troubles at first: collegues thought I was some sort of dumb blonde, and students didn't respect me at all. And who was there for me, who listened to my problems and gave me precious advice, if not the kindest professor in this school, Gawyn Falas? It wouldn't be a sdtretch to say that, if I got this role now, it is mostly thank to you... Don't you remember? She turned to look straight in his eyes, and there was something in her gaze, something alive, something that pulsated and resonated and made those golden irises look like two miniature suns. ... I just came back from a party and I am really tired, but tomorrow I'll get to work on preparing the NPCs for the "After School" topic. Bu I can't complain: dealing with so many can be difficult, but really, compared to the sheer number of stars we have in our galaxy, what are 24 students? Now, if you will excuse us... The point I made to him was that, for our characters in the RP, Duel Monsters is just an innocent game. A person like Darklight, who is conducting research on underground duels, can legitimately question if a person can be killed because of an illegal duel, but casualy stating that a duel can directly kill you is something that nobody could do at this point, without assuming knowledge derived from the OOC topic. In other words, hadn't the OP of this very OOC topic made it clear that the murder(s) is (are) directly connected to shadow duels, nobody could have reasonably come up with such a theory. Hence why I suggested altering the line a bit, to make it at least sound like a question and not like a statement: I would also like to add that it was Cyaloom who came to me asking for my opinion, hadn't he done so I probably wouldn't have noticed in the first place.

To Gawyn Anna watched the young man jump off the window. A normal teacher would have been worried about the risk that involved, or at least furious about the open act of defiance. I still see Cottonee in the available list tho... Unless it was moved to a later location? As in, later than Garchomp/Arceus?

Go to Hiss then. I had an idea, but we can easily stage it for the end of this topic (or the start of the "After School" topic), and I think it would actually work better if you now ignore Anna's order and run. So yeah, I'll wait for your post before making one of my own.

And what a bizarrely worded question that was! It was almost as if... Something within Anna smiled. Two could play that game. My oh my, professor... What a question to ask at a time like this! Indeed, specially considered what happened to poor professor Tenjo, the two of us have a number of things to talk about, but please not now: as teachers, we cannot afford to break our masquerade of unflappable rolemodels in front of the students, not even to mourn such a loss, now can we? Only two people could have possibly heard how she uttered two specific words with a slightly different tone in her voice, and of them, only one had any chance of knowing why noticing that would have been important. After smiling again at professor Falas, Anna turned her attention to the student she had called up. Who had the nerve to speak first, and with a tone that would be enough to cause many professors to lose their temper. But Anna was intrigued: could that have been the right person? Why yes, miss Hartluck, I indeed wanted to help you: I wanted to help you remember that this is a school and not a circus. Even in nowadays' very lax standards, a high-pitched whistle like that is hardly appropriate for this place, particularly in the current circumstances. Am I right, professor Falas?

So, it has been brought to my attention that, for some people, it is more convenient to make more than a post per day because they aren't always online, meaning that they would want to make, say, 3 or 4 posts today to cover up for an eventual absence tomorrow. Having kept this instance into consideration, I have decided to lower the wait time between posts to 6 hours: THIS MEANS EACH OF YOU CAN MAKE A MAXIMUM OF 4 POSTS PER DAY. It should be enough to guarantee the correct development of conversations even in the eventuality that a person is unable to be online for a full day. Of course, if you want to make less posts than that, you are free too. I am editing the OP of the IC topic accordingly.
