  3. Liliana narrowed her eyes at the Admiral's slight smirk. Starting with a bang, huh... Taking into account that look... Liliana quietly reminded herself to sleep lightly with Eleganz close at hand tonight. As they arrived at the living quarters, she was somewhat taken aback by the spaciousness of the place. Back in the convent the rooms had been slightly more crowded, mainly due to the need to house a large number of adherents. To have a room shared by only 3 people seemed a bit wasteful to her. She turned to her compatriots. "Which beds do you want? I'm okay with any. I don't mind sleeping on the floor too, if you'd like to use one of the beds for placing luggage or other things."
  4. Rein walked up to the visibly sulking Natalie. She had been somewhat surprised when the object of her prodding suddenly got up and transformed, but she quickly got over it. It was just magical transformations, after all. Not exactly a reality-bending display. She reached upwards to touch Natalie's shoulder, confirming her partner's status. "Natalie. Uninjured? Don't see any wounds. Internally?"
  5. Liliana hung Eleganz around her neck, fingering her shape, then sat facing Chrono impassively, hands placed on her knees, a picture of manners and poise. She had no questions however. A timetable was something she had no problem adhering to: she had done it her whole life.
  6. A bit short. I do like the stream-of-consciousness style though, if that's deliberate. Might be nice if extended.
  7. The vehicle was approaching the convent. Liliana got up slowly, moving toward the door. A reason to be here...It would be nice to have one, I think. The door hissed open, allowing her disembarkation. With a hurried pace, she moved towards the building. She might still be able to make it for the daily prayers.
  8. oh shi- are we waiting on me? I wasn't planning to have Liliana say anything tbh. KKay, will write out something.
  9. Just to clarify, since I think there may be a misunderstanding: the Ruler class does not refer to Servants with the power of True Name Discernment. True Name Discernment is an ability gifted to Rulers by the grail itself. The only two conditions to be summoned as a Ruler are a) the status of being a saint, having no desire for the Grail.
  10. :/ but... Servants' power levels are directly related to how well-known their legends are. If Ashnard was relatively unknown... he probably wouldn't have stats like those, even under Mad Enhancement... this is the reason why Arturia, if summoned in England, would have a base increase across the board to her stats. I mean, if he has stats like those, he has to be of some renown. Perhaps around Bedivere level at least, but probably closer to Gawain level. Well, I guess if we're just tossing Fate canon aside for the sake of plot and story progression then all this is moot. ((Also I note you're watching Overlord.))
  11. Yukine and Debronee Ashnard. Yukine' s lips turned up in the beginnings of a smile. She had a name. Now, logically, considering that the Servants were all apparently Heroic Spirits of renown, the next step should be... "I've changed my mind. Getting a residence can wait. We're going to the library." ((Well, it'a only because he was indiscreet enough to use both Noble Phantasms. That's the key weakness of an NP: once you use it, your identity is immediately exposed, since your Noble Phantasms specifically refer to your most defining weapons/attacks.))
  12. Debronee and Yukine Yukine nodded her head. Berserker. She had thought so. "Anything else? About the Servant. A name, perhaps. Does the electric cage thing in conjunction with the giant walking wolf form ring any bells at all?" She asked again, in the hope for any information at all. ((Note: Debronee should be able to answer this question, due to the reasons I've mentioned in my post on the OOC thread.))
  13. Note: my reasoning for how Debronee might know Ashnard's true name is as follows: 1) in the Fate canon, all Heroic Spirits that reside in the Throne of Heroes are given full knowledge of the stories and legends of every other Heroic Spirit, hence why Diarmuid was able to identify Saber as Arturia despite having lived before her time. 2) Ashnard, in his pursuit of Yukine, revealed both his Noble Phantasms: the electric cage as well as his true form. Considering there is no other Heroic Spirit on the list or in historical legend with these two concepts attributed to them, it should be fairly simple for Debronee to narrow it down to Ashnard.
  14. Debronee and Yukine Yukine frowned. Debronee had left her? ...well, he came back in the end, so she supposed it was fine. "Since you came back, it's fine. Well then, should we be off?" As she stood to move off, a thought struck her. "Wait. Before that. D, the Servant we fought off last night. A giant Wolf that could walk on two legs and used some kind of electric cage thing. Since you're a Heroic Spirit, do you have any idea which Heroic Spirit that thing might have been?" She figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. If they knew who it was, maybe they could have a better chance of beating it. Granted, it was possible that the cage had been the work of the Master and not the Servant, but it would be simpler to move forward under the assumption that the cage belonged to the Servant. If this was an incorrect assumption, it might be fatal, but it was better than flailing around in the dark.
  15. Liliana nodded. So she was talking about Fate after all. That Enforcer's fame spread far and wide, with many people - especially younger girls - looking up to her and her best friend, Takamachi Nanoha. This, of course, was primarily attributed to their meteoric rise through the ranks of the TSAB, but it was well-known that they left an extremely lasting impression on those who had met them in person. "Ah. Miss Fate. I have heard of her from Sister Schach on several occasions, and Knight Carim appears to hold her in high regard." Liliana smiled, the first time anyone in the carriage had seen her smile. Unfortunately, it was not a genuine one, but rather, a calculated, polite smile. There were few things that could make her smile from her heart, and the dreams of others was not one of them. That said, she had asked the question, thus social expectations dictated she respond in this manner. "I am certain you will have a chance to meet her while with this unit. Perhaps you might even be able to work with her, given who our immediate commander is." It was, after all, a well-known fact that Admiral Chrono deeply loved his adopted sister.
  16. Debronee and Yukine "nnnn..." Yukine roused slowly from her peaceful sleep, unwilling to open her eyes, afraid to see that dark, confined room. The smell of grass assaulted her senses, a refreshing scent of nature. ...grass? That was unusual. Where were the usual smells of sex, of human contact, of animal lust? Then she remembered. She wasn't in the brothel. She wasn't in that horrible place. She was in the grassy areas surrounding an industrial area. She was now a Master, with a Servant that counted on her to help win a war. Slowly, she opened her lids, seeing the face of Debronee above her. He hadn't left her. She smiled. "Good Morning, D." She sat up slowly, making sure to breathe in the smell of freedom, of life outside that building. Then she steeled herself. "Alright. So, for today: first off, we need to find a place to stay. It'll be easier to have a a base of operations, preferably out of sight. Next, I'll need to get a job, to pay for said place. Any objections? Or ideas, for that matter."
  17. Nah, it's out of character for her to wake him up unless he had instructed her to do so (see: Dependency EX under personal skills). But the first thing he should see is Lily, now with arms and legs, sitting in a wheelchair staring at him, with her face super close.
  18. Liliana blinked several times at the scene that had unfolded before her. With that, their carriage was now less two people. She muttered a silent prayer for the visibly troubled child, wishing the blessings of the Saint King upon him. With that, she turned to Leivinia. "Yes, as you were saying, standing face-to-face with who, exactly?" Considering she had mentioned the Enforcers, Liliana had a decently good idea, given the relative fame of one particular youthful Enforcer, but she decided it would be prudent to ask, nonetheless. Assumptions were the basis of many a sin.
  19. Liliana nodded and stood up, removing Eleganz from around her neck, speaking to the Armed Device. "I'll see you in a bit. Behave, okay?" "Da." Was the Device's reply, in a feminine, cultured voice. Clutching the ID in hand, she trailed out behind the rest of the first batch of departees. As she boarded the provided transport, she noted that the first three were already seated together. Not wanting to break the pattern, she stepped up to them, bowed deeply, then took a seat next to Shou, across from the man who had introduced himself as Dave.
  20. Liliana stood up next, bowing deeply. "Grüß Gött. May the blessings of the Saint King surround you all. I am Liliana Göttlieb, attached from the Saint King Church. I will hereafter be in your care." She bowed again. "My specialty is in close quarters, anti-personnel combat. This," she held up the miniaturised Eleganz around her neck, "is Eleganz. She does not speak much, but she has accompanied me for a long time." She bowed a third time. "The Saint King's light surely shines upon this meeting. I look forward to working with you." With that, she returned to her seat, watching the rest of the room.
  21. Liliana fidgeted in her seat for a bit, then chastised herself for it. Lady Olivie would have been able to keep still for long periods, so Liliana, as a devotee, must be able to achieve the same kind of inmer peace. ...though the current incarnation of her Majesty, lady Vivio, was noted for being a super-energetic child... no! Liliana shook her head vigorously in self-reproach. She cannot allow herself to belittle the Lady in this manner. She silently prayed for forgiveness. Still struggling to obtain serenity, Liliana began toying with the miniaturised form of Eleganz, hung around her neck.
  22. Rein simply stood there and acknowledged all she'd heard. Goddesses, huh. She looked at Lilith, lying on the ground, and was relieved that the Goddess she worshipped was at least a super-cute girl. She then turned her attention to the unconscious Natalie. Goddess or not, she did feel a slight tinge of concern for her partner, especially when they had made a handshake-bound contract. She trotted over to the unconscious girl, squatted down, and started poking her cheek with her left index finger, her face a mix of apathy and disinterest.
