  1. ... this will no longer work due to changes to the way ability capsules work. They are now cyclic and as such if you don't get the ability you want from one capsule, use another.
  2. The place you both should be looking is Ametrine Mountain, between Routes 2 and 3. A certain huge block of ice should be a good enough landmark for you.
  3. I wouldn't say -impossible-, but an implementation made to do something like this sounds ... messy. I don't think Ame has this sort of thing in her plans and without that, coding something like that would have less priority over things like occasionally wonky AI and an unfinished battle system. So to answer your titular question ... likely never.
  4. To reuse game dialogue from a previous post, if you've talked to everyone it town maybe you want to look for the "suspicious place."
  5. It is not that simple and I don't see something like this happening in the future, but who knows.
  6. ? The only note given about the Relearner is this: The Move Relearner is no longer accessible until later in the game So there's no "move relearner mechanics" that changed as far as I'm aware. As far as the scenario in question: Vibrava learns Earthquake at level 33 via ORAS learnset, so this is unecessary.
  7. But you should totally talk to everyone in town just in case any one of them has seen it!
  8. Chrome's just being cautious. I can assure you it's not a virus or anything harmful ... well, unless you like having free time or want a hand-holdy gameplay experience. Otherwise you're free to ignore that warning.
  9. *pats* I don't mind because it's the kind of necro that I'm cool with c:
  10. I don't expect it to become a repeat issue and if it does, with this episode comes a fix for ability capsules to make them cyclic and more consistent. If it becomes an ever-occuring issue, I might make a megathread where people can post saves and I'll fix things.
  11. There is. If you travel southwest in Ametrine you should get to Celestinine, and the rest is pretty straightforward. There's a tricky ice puzzle in your way, but it's doable.
  12. If the mountain you're talking about is Ametrine Mountain then I'm not sure how you're getting lost as its a pretty much straight shot south from where you enter from Route 3 to the Route 2 exit.

  14. ..... what? First of all, League of Legends continues to have critical hits, which are definitely RNG-dependent, so I don't see how they're 'completely eschewing its usage.' Secondly, many games are continued to be designed and developed with heavy influence (some even completely relying on or otherwise based around) on RNG systems, such as the many different kinds of indie roguelikes which are still popular. Just take a look at Binding of Issac for example: a game entirely based on procedurally generated content with a massive following and many positive reviews. I highly doubt that this game is universally considered to be 'shoddily designed', because it delivers an experience with huge replay value to the reviewers and I personally know a bunch of people on Reborn that got hooked to that game.
  15. Mkay, so first this is a pretty old thread so I'd appreciate you starting a new one instead of necroing one like this next time, okay? Second, if you're certain that you've gotten the other four, then make sure that you talk to the Growlithe again after peering into the hole.
  16. I'm still amazed that you didn't notice this but see that it doesn't have this sort of thing in the evolution, for the record.
  17. First, hello and welcome to Reborn! Second, I'm not sure how you managed that with the spoiler tags. I deleted and rewrote them and they were fine. Try adding them via the "special BBcode" button in the post editor next time.
  18. To answer your question regardless of the nature of your post, the "poke mart" guy who sells super potions in florinia's gym before you beat her is still in e14.
  19. I think the point he's trying to make is that we can make it so in this hypothetical field, those kinds of moves just don't work.
  20. To answer your question, yes they can. Gonna lock this thread now.
  21. That's a bit clearer but I don't know if I'd call that endgame content. Unfortunately I don't know of anything in that vein that we have planned for the players.
