Excadrill completely walled the pulse mon (immune to Discharge and Sludgewave, and resists Infestation). In the double battles, sand rush + partner Hippo's sand stream means EQ sweep. I didn't even use it against Ciel cause it was already at the level cap.

According to 5th gen mechanics, there was a 1% chance for Sawk and Throh to hold an expert belt (and a 5% for black belt) but this isn't the case for 6th gen. (refer to http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_wild_held_item). I'm just wondering whether episode 14 goes by 5th or 6th gen mechanics.

Is there the 1% chance of finding them on these wild pokemon? Also, are the hold items found on wild pokemon based off 5th or 6th generation charts?

Yes you are able to. I have both (but surprisingly, way more deepsea scales). As mentioned above, red stripped give the tooth, blue stripped give the scale. Best way to get the tooth is to use the good rod in the Tanzan cove, where Basculin are found at a 60% rate (much higher than fishing for Carvanhas). For the scale, just search in the grass when you dive using the Compoundeyes and Frisk tactic. Chinchou, Lanturn, and Relicanth all drop it (and you may be able to find some Clamperls holding Big Pearls).

In Calcenon City you can trade the Electirizer for an Elekid in one of the houses. Is there some way to get an Electirizer back though? (to actually evolve the Electabuzz)

Totally forgot about the physical/special split... no wonder Gengar's shadow ball did nothing against the chomp (literally 5%). Chomp wasn`t too bad, just setup 3 acid armours with Vaporeon and I thought I had a sweep... she sent out Excadrill next and crit me...

Either the latest chapter was easier or I've just been waiting so long that all my Pokes are overleveled... I find it gets easier as you play but still more difficult than the official games which were all too easy.

I've tried doing it without teleport and it doesn't seem to work... Tauros disappears when you enter the gate and it also disappears when you enter the area in the wasteland between the two buildings.

The Ralts you get from the guy already has Teleport. Just don't replace that move with another one or else you'll need to relearn it.

Yep. Joltik is really easy since you can run away from it and it doesn't disappear (also no pre-battle text to have to sit through).

What I did is I used a level 60 Gengar, put it to sleep with Hypnosis, switch to a False Swiper (like Escavalier), and switch back to Gengar after bringing it down to 1 HP (so that the Take Down's don't KO itself). Then throw Level Balls (which have about 17% chance of working).

AHHHHH!!! Took me maybe half an hour (I was watching videos while repeatedly tapping spacebar to get through the text), and was only the 2nd Shiny Beldum I had to encounter. Also has clear body and a perfect Speed IV stat. Today is my day..

Added a Shiny Lucario to the lineup. Thinking I may train up the Solosis to a Reuniclus if I have time. How did you get a Metagross?

Best SpA EV location for me were the Glooms on the island. I forget if it was rainy weather that made them appear a lot more.
