  1. If you want Hydreigon and Drapion it's easier to catch the Dragon first. In Chapter 4 (spoiler alert) Drapion will be very common. Unless you want to do the hard way and search for a Skorupi now instead of finding them everywhere later on. Same goes for Deino but the other way around. xD
  2. That's pretty much how RoG works. I'll PM Antares about it because at this point I don't know if RoG will be active. I'll talk to you about it in PM. @Zephyr: You can catch Dragons on other occassions as well.
  3. Azery and Tacos Devin looked over when Ryan and his Flygon came over, followed by James. “I’ll announce the groups once everyone picked a room and dropped their luggage off. As for Bagon; they live in the rocky parts of the mountain. When you are in my group you’ll see them. I’ll split everyone into four groups and each group goes to a specific area to find certain Dragon types. I’m doing the rocky part with the most dangerous dragons, Phoebe will go to the lake and swamp-like area, Tyron does the base of the mountain and forest. The last group will go with Brendan and Rebecca for a special assignment. After a few hours each group will switch and follow a different teacher, but I’ll explain everything once we get to the accommodations.”
  4. I'm not changing Pokémon stats. Shedinja is a risk to have.
  5. I never considered the Bone a held item. Cubone can keep it but I'll think I'll use the Nerf Route. Or there is another option if you want to use it: Cubone believes it increases attacks. The power is already there and the Bone has no effect, but when Cubone doesn't hold the thing it becomes a mental problem and he'll hit less hard without realizing it. Thus believing the Bone makes him stronger. Edit: @Azery: No. The Rock does additional damage, but the basic attack is still Psychic. It only takes damage from the rock, but that would have the same effect as Kenny trying to Sucker Punch that Vulpix in Chapter 1. This is only the case because it's Shedinja. If someone uses that tactic against Alvin it would work, but not super effective, just increased damage. Also I got held up today so the main update (and the groups) will be tomorrow.
  6. In the mountains or caves. Devin's group or Rebecca / Brendan group would be your best bet. Mareek happens to start with the assistants.
  7. Other water types too. I only mentioned the (part) ground types.
  8. You can go with caves or base of the mountain or something. Tyron's group is going there later. (Right now you aren't climbing the Hills yet)
  9. Lucky Elf Roman’s eyes widened when he heard Claude talk and burst into laughter. “Just call me Roman,” he said after calming down. “You’re a colorful guy, aren’t you? I bet Devin has his hands full with you and your friends…” he mused. “And yes, you guessed it right. Our accommodations are in a rocky part so the most common types are Ground, Steel and Rock. Of course you’ll find a lot of Flying, Bug and Grass types because we’re still in the forest part. I can sum most of them up but that would take too long. Do you have a specific Pokémon in mind? As long as they live in a forest or rocky area you should be able to find them.” Zephyr and DarkLight Lana’s face was buried in her Pokédex. She followed along without watching her step and bumped into Evan, who was keeping a distance from everyone. On the previous trip some reckless students got him almost killed and he hoped to avoid it this time. “S-sorry!” Lana stuttered. She bowed her head in apology and didn’t see the face of the one she bumped into. “It’s alright,” Evan replied. His eye fell on the open Pokédex in her hand. “That thing must be really interesting if you had your head buried into it.” Lana’s face got red. She felt a little embarrassed. She looked back at her Pokédex and saw the entry was still on Turtwig. “I was just looking up where Turtwig lives. I want one and I know they live around here,” she said in a soft voice. Evan frowned. “How do you know that?” Lana finally looked him in the eye when he asked that. “My parents are breeders and told me about this place. Every now and then they breed Pokémon to release here. A few years ago they released an entire herd of Donphan here. And when I asked about it they told me which species I could find here.” That last sentence caught Evan’s attention. He was thinking about catching a ground type. “And those species are…” he encouraged her. “Oh, uhm, the ones that live in the mountains either have a second typing like Dragon, Steel or Rock. They also told me that there’s a lake close by our camping and that Torterra can be found there alongside those with dual Water/Ground Pokémon. Are you interested in catching a Ground type?” For the first time since she knew Evan she didn’t feel awkward or uncomfortable around him, but actually showed interest in something. “Errr, I might,” the boy replied. Lana's sudden interest caught him off guard.
  10. Speaking of MA: who is the third member? Saber or Berserker? And I'm currently going through European history and legends but I can't find a decent Assassin unless I go for a Viking that killed hundreds of people. At this point I think I'll go for Hanzo.
  11. Probably. I think I'll move straight to the point instead of letting everyone unpack and pick rooms.
  12. I was planning to let it fly low enough so Ryan could interact with others. You can control it if you want as long as you keep in mind that it won't go far from Devin or the group of students.
  13. Forum Name: Chimchain Length of time on Reborn: About 7 months I think Favorite game genre: RPG, action, sports Notable skills: Writing I guess. I'm currently hosting an RP with 15+ people involved. Aside from that I don't think anything is going to help me with this game. Hobbies: Football, Pokémon, writing Best Trait: Helpful, active, friendly, loyal. Those last two might go out the window during the game though. Worst Trait: I hold grudges for a very long time. I'm also blunt when I think something isn't fair and end up making things personal. Describe yourself in one sentence, long or short it doesn't matter: I'm very loyal to people I'm friends with and I don't care what anyone else thinks of me. Why we should pick you to play Survivor Reborn: I play tactical and might heat things up. I'll also go after people I think are a threat for my side to win and don't care if I need to backstab people.
  14. Claude and Sissy had fun and didn't feel awkward. xD (This is another Flygon btw) I replaced Raiza with Colin, but I might do some last-minute changes. I didn't include Lana or any of the two new girls because that would take too long. Only Alvin is going to annoy someone.
  15. Maybe I should change my approach because I'm struggling with Cleopatra. I was looking for a 'hit and run' type of Assassin since they aren't that powerful going head to head. Unless I follow the example of the Fake Assassin... Apparently I have a few more days so I'll try to finish Assassin in the weekend.
  16. Why? It was your choice xD I can still change it so Machamp can carry Ryan around.
  17. The busses finally stopped at the destination. Devin thanked the driver and made sure the man would come pick them up 3 days from now. The old man just nodded and gave a quick tap on his cap. In the meantime every student tried to get out of the bus simultaneously. The first thing they saw after getting out of the bus was nothing more than nature. The busses were parked at the edge of a parking lot made out of sand and small stones. Ryan had to watch out were to put his crutches or he would lose balance. The parking lot was big enough for 5 or 6 other busses, but was empty aside from a dark blue Land Rover that was parked in front of a hotel called The Hills. The hotel was made out of grey stone while the doors, window frames and roof were made out of wood. ‘The Hills’ was painted in black above the doors that opened as soon as Devin was halfway the parking lot. An older man, close to his sixties, walked out. His hair was grey and reached his shoulders, blue friendly eyes behind glasses. He was about 5’5” and still had something of a muscular build. He wore black pants and a sleeveless red shirt. His arms and hands revealed burn marks. He was fit for his age. “Roman, it’s good to see you again,” Devin said, extending his hand. The old man just looked with a smirk on his face. “Really? You’re family! Come here!” He gave Devin a firm hug and patted him on his back. “It’s been a long time…” Devin, after returning the manly hug, smiled. “I know. I’ve been busy lately, but thanks for coming. Where is Alastair?” “Of course I would be here. Those rookies behind you wouldn’t survive without my knowledge you know!” Roman laughed. “And my son went ahead. The owners told us there’s been a disturbance lately with the local Donphan herd. He didn’t know exactly what was going on, but apparently last time they were close to the accommodations.” Devin frowned. He knew the local Donphan’s were a powerful group. Lana’s parents were the ones who bred the oldest members and released them in the wild according to the Wild Breeding Program. And it proved a success. The Donphan’s adapted quickly and were running around freely throughout the area. Of course they weren't dangerous but apparently something managed to spook them. Both man returned to the students when they all gathered around Phoebe and a sleepy Tyron. Rebecca and Brendan were checking their luggage a bit further away from the group so the students wouldn’t see what they had with them. For now it had to stay a small surprise. “Students, this man here is Roman Connor. He and his son are famous Dragon type breeders and may even know more than I do when it comes to habitats and behavior. They certainly know these parts around here best as they also keep an eye out on the wild Dragon population. His son Alastair went ahead and is waiting for us at our accommodations. I already told everyone on the first bus we still have to walk for about an hour before we reach our destination so get your stuff and follow Roman’s lead.” The old man bowed slightly and went ahead. “Follow me!” he yelled over his shoulder. Devin walked over to Ryan. “We arranged a solution for you. It would be impossible to keep up on crutches so my Flygon will take care of you.” He released the friendly Dragon who already knew his assignment. He showed his back to Ryan, waiting for the boy to get on. “Leave your crutches and luggage with me.” Devin instructed. “I’ll take care of it.” In the meantime students started to follow Roman. He followed a natural tricky path made out of sand and the some loose stones. “Watch your step!” he said laughing. “Oh and don’t be scared if a wild Pokémon suddenly crosses your path. A lot of them made their nests close by the paths because travelers might leave behind food!”
  18. After everyone catched their 3rd, or 4th in some cases, Devin will pair everyone up to see them battle. So far only Slade vs Evan is something I gave away because of earlier battles. You won't be facing someone your PC already had a lot of interaction with before I threw everyone on the bus. The rules are 2 on 2 singles and you have to use the newly catched Pokémon.
  19. You can watch any battle as I'll start one at a time. Evan vs Slade is the last in line. And I planned for Robert to fight a Coordinator. Edit: @Tomas Elliot: It will take a while before chapter 3 starts. There were some delays on my part.
  20. If you want to do that I can change the battles and let Robert fight Slade. That way if he pulls something with his Magnemite again you have first chance to react, but there is no guarantee he'll do it again.
  21. Nope. It only works if the opponent uses Fire Spin and the boost works only once. (Unless your opponent uses another fire attack again)
  22. I forgot to add it for them. Assume either Brendan or Rebecca told them.
  23. I want to do something like this as second NP: Curse of Isis: All water in the area evaporates and becomes deadly poisonous mist that surrounds the target(s). Surrounding nature dies from drought and poison and flowers wither. I'm not sure if she needs Territory Creation for it or how big the affected area will be.
  24. Go ahead. I'll say something when someone goes overboard with obtaining Pokémon and their levels.
  25. I'm almost done. I'm thinking about a second NP that involves poison in an offensive way. Summoning Asps (Egyptian Cobra's) would be the exact same thing as Queen of Egypt and that's a bit boring.
