You couldn't catch one anyway since they all belong to Devin. xD @DarkLight: The lab is on the seventh floor of the main building.
-
Probably a week from now. Maybe later as I have to work this Sunday and might get a job after that.
-
Probably time zones. Also the reason why I didn't update yesterday. But Ryan and Slade can join the rest. They already went to the hospital and currently everyone has a break. (Not going to do classes right now)

I saw the anime but I still don't understand everything. xD So I'm going to wait to see how this plays out. And Diarmuid got screwed over or he would've won -
Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]

During his conversation with Jacob, Devin kept an eye out on Kage. The boy didn’t react to his nod earlier which confirmed his suspicion. He didn’t say anything and turned back to Jacob who asked teambuilding advice. “There are two possible solutions for your question, Jacob,” Devin said. “The first way is the offensive way and the one you just suggested. Basically you figure out how to deal with your weaknesses by thinking ‘what is super effective against my weaknesses’. In this case that would be a fire type. The second way is to concentrate on defense. If you struggle against grass and ice you can always go for a type that resists. Steel for example would also be a decent pick.” He thought for a moment. “Eventually it’s up to you, but on the upcoming trip we’ll find more Steel types then Fire types. In the forest it’s about even, but you’ll have more choice of fire types there. Unless of course you already have a Pokémon in mind that can be found in the mountains,” he said with a small smile. He took a quick look on his watch. “Time sure flies. We have to go back since I need to do some last preparations. I’ll go collect the students.” With that said he took off and managed to get everyone on the bus. After a 15 minute bus drive the students arrived back at the Academy. Devin waited until everyone got out while doing a headcount, before leaving for Redwood’s lab. -
Alright I'll move things on. I'm moving everyone back to the Academy. After that I'll start working on the Devin / Phoebe interaction which gives you all some time to interact. Keep battles short because I'm about to start the trip soon.

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]

DarkLight and Zephyr Dragonite was quick to grab the berry and eat it. If only every challenger was like this… He didn’t pay much attention to the conversation between the girls, but his eye fell on the Litwick. It had the same presence as the one that was watching earlier. He gave it a little stare before the new human approached him carefully. He tilted his head a little to question why the girl slowly raised her hand. It’s not like he intended to bite it off. If she wanted to touch him she could just say so. The friendly dragon gave a snort and decided to mess with this one. He made a small jump, placing himself right in front of Raiza, and started to pet her instead. Jory and Murdoc Devin nodded in appreciation of Kage’s efforts and decided to ask the boy later about his eyes. If he didn’t tell any of the teachers changes were high that he didn’t tell his fellow students either or had a really good reason to hide it. He turned his attention back to Jacob. “I’m flattered you consider me a role model, but be sure to develop your own style. Many students your age make the mistake in trying to copy someone they look up to. And training Teo’s speed certainly is a great option. As far as Dragonbreath and Bug Buzz go, think back about what I said earlier. Focus on the strong points. Is Teo good at attacking from a distance, from up close or isn’t there any difference? That’s all decided by your Pokémon’s nature and personality. It’s something every trainer should consider.” -
For people running mixed attacker or special Flygon? Anyway I'll just go with what DarkLight said.

I've got the big lines for what's going to happen. I'm still not sure when I want to do the Devin / Phoebe interaction where I'll show Devin's thoughts about PCs. (Can't say much about the new girl though so I'm letting that play out a little longer)

She will use his injury to her advantage but she won't actually meet up with him. In her eyes he's just another student she doesn't care about.

Trystane was lost. Now the second steed he approached didn’t want to partner up with him either. He didn’t know how to respond and watched the interaction between the horses. “Trystane,” he answered Whitehoove.“ Clearly the horse didn’t pay attention to him when he introduced himself. He felt like Whitehoove had kicked him in the gut twice and sighed. “If you don’t want to partner up either; fine. Neither of you can compare to Onyx anyway so I’ll just look for someone in your pack that’s not so proud and stubborn.” He looked around to see some of the others already paired up, but at this point he didn’t give a damn. He wasn’t interested in pairing up with a horse that didn’t show any respect or at least didn’t complain about it.

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]

Meanwhile in Valley City “Miss Welsh, may I disturb you?” a polite young man asked. He had freckles on his face and short red hair and appeared to be in his early twenties. The young man was ambitious and hoped to have his own successful company someday just like Miss Welsh. “What now, Rodrick? I’m busy!” Miss Welsh snapped. The young didn’t flinch. He was used to Miss Welsh by now. After all this was his second year as her assistant. In the beginning people warned him about the Ice Queen and that she was relentless and a rotten personality. Rodrick always answered he could handle it and she couldn’t be that bad. He was wrong. When he first started as her assistant he feared her. During the years fear turned into hatred and soon he despised her. “It’s about the Academy,” he said, still keeping his polite tone. Miss Welsh looked up immediately. She wanted very interested in the Academy and what it could mean or her business. Unfortunately Professor Redwood was too popular and people supported him. She considered him a buffoon with no business talent. “Don’t just stand there! Spill it out!” “A boy just broke his ankle in Devin’s garden. The exact cause isn’t know, but apparently one of the Dragons spooked him.” Miss Welsh sprung up. “Call every board member! We’re going to have an emergency meeting tomorrow at the school!” she instructed Rodrick. he sat down again and mumbled to herself“Finally an opportunity arises. This is my chance to stop those ridiculous ‘school trips’. It’s just a waste of money…” Rodrick, who was still in the room, shuffled with his feet and drew her attention again. “What are you still doing here? Time is money so get to it!” “Yes, Miss Welsh!” the boy replied before leaving her office. -
I'm going to use it for something else entirely though. And Madame Plumeau isn't flirty. Well, at least not most of the time.

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]

DarkLight and Zephyr Dragonite smirked when Avis did the barrel roll. So he was dealing with prankster? Interesting…Dragonite had to admit this one was for better than that human from before. But he wouldn’t lose. The Murkrow was too green and inexperienced to beat him. All he had to do was patiently wait for it to run out of steam. After that he would deal with the staring presence it sensed. Murdoc The Hydreigon snorted. It still felt uncomfortable and turned its heads every few seconds in Devin’s direction. He knew now Kage didn’t mean any harm but getting close to humans just felt weird. It wanted to create as much distance as possible and ignored the Pokéblock at first, until Mother Tyrantrum saw the delicious candy. She came over and almost managed to snatch it, but Hydreigon wasn’t planning on letting anyone steal from it and caught it in his mouth. With another snort towards Tyrantrum it finally flew off into the woods. Jory and K_H “Let me see,” Devin said to Jacob. He picked up Teo and studied it. “Strong jaws… leg power seems alright… healthy looking…” he mumbled during his examination. “I’d say he’s halfway there before evolving into Vibrava. As for any advice; Flygon is one of the most balanced Dragons. If you want it to outstand focus the strong points. I think you know what those are,” he said with a smile. He thought for a second because he wanted Jacob to find his own way of battling. “Flygon is sometimes overlooked as a powerful Dragon. Other species stand out more because they have monstrous attacking power, like Haxorus, or focus on special attacking, like Hydreigon. If you want him to go head to head with Dragons like that use Teos balance well. Focus on his strong points and lure the opponent in his pace.” He was thinking he went a little too far in his advice since that was the battle style he used with Flygon, when Kenny interrupted. “That’s Professor Cadmus to you, boy!” he said with a little authority. And no, I’ve never heard of a student leaving his Pokémon behind, especially in my garden. I’ve seen that Eevee a couple of times and if it was abandoned it would’ve been from a traveler. Believe me when I say I keep a close eye on things like that.” -
Sigurd woke up from his nap on deck and yawned loudly. He stretched for a moment before walking over to where Dru was. He enjoyed the sea breeze and being on a ship reminded him of back home when warriors left for raids. The only exception was that the warriors didn’t have any annoying elves on board. He reached Dru and Akuma and measured up the town. “Nice place, but it can use some more snow,” he joked. “Now, where are we going?”

I never played Orre or Colosseum so I didn't implement it. So I have no idea who Lady Venus is xD edit: I can use that Pokémon heart thingy... Interesting... They are rare but the Academy has some in the Forest. (Exception is Tyrantrum) And you can find Fossil Pokémon in the wild. Breeder region also breeds fossils. Extra edit: I think Claude was also planning on the Clefable line... And fairy types are known for years now.
