Guess I should give my own feedback: - Cursed Body seems to activate almost every time. I only had scratch against Joey and had to healspam to be able to win. (I have a Modest Lifoam which doesn't help either). But it didn't only happen when I faced Joey. My Oppossite got Cursed Bodied 3 times in a row against the Gym Leader. I don't remember how her third Pokémon is called. I'm not sure if that happened because of my shitty luck but it got pretty annoying it kept activating on every single occassion. (I also got Licked twice by Mouroot and both times got paralyzed so I guess it's my luck). However since this is getting replaced I can't really say anything about it since the main problem was the very first battle. - Mouroot isn't a very nice surprise when you only have Lifoam. I only encountered Magpy and Ebounny but didn't want to use them so I lost pretty badly. Harvest this early might be a bit strong. (To face and to abuse). - Low Sweep. I get absolutely destroyed by it. I got a lvl 15 Lifoam that loses 3/4 of his health. All my other mons get OHKO'd. I have 4 (2 of them are normal type) so the only thing I can do is spam sand attack. If this gets replaced I might actually see Mary's ace. Aside from 1 potion and 8 Oran Berries I have no recovery items so after that Voodoo thingy, the Eeveelution cleans up. I also get a lot of flinches when it uses bite. - Elfrik's (or something like that) encounter rate. I wanted the Pigkrieg and looked for Elfthingy 30+ minutes without encountering it. Much later, while trying to grind (which is a pain btw) my Oppossite, I finally ran into one. ((I would look up the names of the Pokémon that I forgot but my save file died when I replaced my data folder with a new one given by Azery. If you could hit me up with a new one as soon as you figured out what went wrong I'd appreciate it. I kinda like my team so far.))

Redwood stared at Claude and started to snicker for a minute or two. “Good grief, just when I thought I was dealing with an extremely timid year.” The Professor playfully waved his index finger in a no-gesture. “You know, Mister Impatient, when people are thrown into the unknown and faced with talking in front of a big crowd, it always takes time for some of them to find the courage to speak up. I'm pretty positive there are many more students out here with questions about the BP-system, but for now I'll deal with the two that I actually heard before coming back to yours.” The Professor took a deep breath and quickly glanced towards his left. Devin Cadmus was standing there with a frown on his face. It was quite obvious he was not amused by Claude's recent action and certainly didn't laugh it away like Redwood just did. “To answer the first question,” Redwood continued, “Just go to the battle screen and you'll see the option to link with your opponent. You can also fill in the battle requirements like doubles or two Pokémon each and scan the participating Pokémon. That's all there is to it.” Redwood nodded briefly towards Lucas to indicate the end of his answer and turned his attention towards Mie. “What happens when a student reaches 0 BP? That's a very good question. If a students manages to drop all the way, we will investigate how that happened. A penalty will be given accordingly, but I will not be able to give you a straight answer to avoid abuse and students dropping to 0 without a second thought. But you shouldn't worry. There are enough ways to earn extra points. I believe the students that struggle the most with this system usually end up between 10 and 20 BP at the end of the year. I hope this answer at least helped you somewhat. And since there are no more questions, I guess I move forward.” Redwood walked over to where Devin was standing and received a headset and remote controller. He pushed the button and a giant white screen came down while a projector in the back started spinning. The lights went a bit darker and for a moment the Contest Hall seemed to turn into a Movie Theatre. The white screen showed a picture that was taken from the air. A secluded terrain with multiple buildings and grasslands, rocks and a large lake could be seen. “This is Ymora's best Dragon Breeding Facility,” Redwood said as he turned his gaze to Claude. “Is this more to your liking, Mister Impatient?”

I agree with this. If you're lucky you hatch a Pokémon that counts as a the bonus catch you mentioned. Btw how are you going to handle dual types like Lotad? Is it only when you have access to both types that you can use them?

Everyone The Contest Hall turned out to be a giant theatre in an octagon shape. Eights massive white pillars supported a massive dark blue roof. The doors also shared the same color. Inside was a small entry room with a red and golden carpet. The brown doors leading to the main stage were open and showed a first glimpse. There was also a possibility to go left or right, both openings lead to even more doors and enabled swifter movement to the places on the outside. Next to both openings were staircases leading to the upper level. The hall itself was decorated with paintings of coordinators and their Pokémon. A carpet with the same colors as the one in the entry area was lying between the rows of comfortable, leather seats and the stage was covered by massive golden curtains. The audience was separated into three main areas that were each divided into three layers; one close to the stage, one in the middle and one on the upper floor. If one looked from the stage to the audience, they could see 9 different areas being filled with people. And on that stage were currently two man talking. One of them was a giant man in a suit. His short red hair, small beard and muscular build made him stand out even more. The other one was a bit smaller, but still tall, with slicked black hair and wearing a labcoat. The man in the suit nodded to the other one and disappeared from sight. A lot of people started to make dissatifying noises as they hoped to get to meet the Elite Four Member. Instead Professor Redwood walked over to the microphone, spread his arms wide open and smiled to the gathered audience. “Welcome to Ymora Academy! I know all of you new students wish to explore the grounds, but I'm afraid I need to take some of your time for some important information. I really need to explain how our Battle Point System works as well as how to obtain a second Pokémon and, for those that are interested, dragon types. As he was talking, Redwood put his hand in one of his pockets and grabbed his own Pokédex. “I'll start with this little thing. This is not any ordinary Pokédex. Sure, it registers how many Pokémon you've seen and caught and even the known movesets of your own Pokémon if you wish to use that application. However there is one more thing. For those that haven't done this yet, do it together with me. Take your student card and place it in the card reader at the side of your Pokédex. Your information should appear on the screen. That's your trainer ID that will be used when you challenge the Pokémon League or participate in Contests after you've graduated from here. You can also see one extra feature in the top left corner of your screen. It's right next to your name. That Pokédollar sign is the amount of Battle Point, or BP, you have. You can only use those while you're in the Academy and everyone starts with 100 points. You can also access that information by just clicking on your name just in case it's hard to read or something.” Redwood put away his own Pokédex and continued. “You can earn BP by winning Academy battles, keeping your grades up or bet them in a friendly match against other students. Just link your Pokédex with your opponent, go to your BP screen and fill in the amount of BP you want to bet. Your Pokédex will automatically scan the health of all Pokémon involved in the battle so there is no way to cheat. Consider this a way to learn how to use your money well. Because as some of you may know this system was used a lot back in the old days to earn money in a fair way. Some people still use this method even though it became illegal, but that's a story for another time. I already said how you can win points so you can obviously lose points as well. If your grades drop or you fail particular tasks, by betting against other students or if you sign up for an Academy tournament. All tournaments will require a certain amount of BP before you can participate. Starting tomorrow the Academy's Shop will open. It's right next to the cafetaria and you can find everything in there: healing items, berries, food for Pokémon and trainer, clothes, accessories and a lot more. If you want to buy something from the shop or the cafetaria, you have to pay with BP. So it's important to make sure to keep a healthy amount of BP around.” The Professor looked at the crowd for a few moments and knew there were probably students who had no idea what he just said. “Are there any questions related to the Battle Point System?”

Everyone The teacher turned around when Johnny approached him with a story about the male dorms. "Oh, don't worry! That's probably the Rotom that lives on these grounds. He likes to play pranks and can go a little overboard..." The teacher was wrong. But before anyone could go into further detail, all the speakers on campus came to live to spread a message: "To all first years students; please gather at the Contest Hall where Professor Redwood will welcome you and your families personally. There he will explain how things like the Battle Points System works as well as how to obtain your second Pokémon. He will also inform you about the excursion to a Dragon Breeding Facility. The welcoming starts in 30 minutes!" The woman repeated her message a couple of times before shutting the speakers down and heading towards the Contest Hall herself. She was in a hurry since Redwood had forgotten to prepare his speech so the task fell onto her. Again.

I caught up and I decided to put the ghost thing away for now until later. Also since a lot of people seem to be busy, Dobby and I can handle an extra player. I decided to invite Ragnar (if he still wants) since he's the only one on the back-up list and this way he won't miss anything. And I'm going to make a really short update that I'm also going to use as a head count. If people don't respond to it I'm considering them busy. If they don't pick up a second Pokémon and don't post by the end of chapter 1 I consider them inactive and their characters will move to the background.

The last two weeks were supposed to get better. That's when I originally planned for this RP to come back because I would have some sort of a weekly structure when it came to work. But I still have to work 6 days a week for a few months. I can manage that if I don't count all the extra hours I had to do. And apparently it wasn't all that clear that people can basically do whatever they want in the first chapter. But I think I'm going to move things forward to Redwood's speech, give a bit of free time, and go straight to the second day and hand out Pokémon.

I'm not dead (yet). I got a new collegue and I should get some more free time. I just need a few more days.

SPOILER ALERT Dobby will probably finish the male dorms and I'll see if I can get something up tomorrow evening (my timezone) about the RoG agents.

Noted. So please remove yourself from this OOC. Because I will ask everyone involved with this RP to not react to your posts. That also means I'm not going to react to any 'character' you try to submit in the future. I really misjudged you, but your human Lucario character from last time made it clear you never intended to take this seriously. Also I will not throw in the towel. I'm way too stubborn and selfish to do that along with some other various reasons. So thank you for throwing in yours because one of the problems on my list was to keep my word as a host to you. Now to everyone else still involved: 1) I'm clearing things out with Hukuna in private. I just snapped at him because of his position and influence he has. So my apologies to everyone for going on a rampage. 2) Like I already said, one of my collegues tried a suicide attempt not long ago. Normally this wouldn't have any influence on my life, but unfortunately the busy period started where I work and we don't have enough staff anymore. I already worked 6 out of 7 days since August / September, but I did less hours each day. (Instead of 8 I did 6 etc). Right now I'm doing at least 8 and usually 9-10. When I come home I don't have much energy and lately I've been falling asleep if I dare to sit down. So everything I usually do during the week gets postponed to Sunday so there are no days where I can sit down and follow things up. So currently I'm running behind and I'll try to catch up, but for now I'm going to leave things to Dobby. He has no idea what to do with the Male Dorms but I'll give him all the details so he can do the update. I hope I can catch up by the time people are supposed to gather for Redwood's speech. (For those who are new that's what I'm using to explain how the school system works and when you get new Pokémon etc. Also information for the second chapter will be released.)

I still haven't had the chance to catch up, but apparently it wasn't all that clear what I meant last time in the OOC. So allow me to explain: But first: Commander, why do you always need to get involved even when it doesn't concern you? Stop rousing things and may I remind you that last time you often created a mess with Henry. So you are in no position to judge what I'm doing with Samantha even though I wasn't planning to draw in any more characters. Ymora was and still is something he wants to make perfect and enjoyable so he kept working on the errors from last time. 4. Chim planned to come back in November / December after Jory was done with his subplot. Now Jory left without a word and Chim reacted to Dobby in the old OOC about this news. He noticed how much people were still interested, so he moved he very busy schedule up to use the hype and deliver. Even when he had no internet access, he kept working so the deadline he told the players would not be postponed. 5. Some of you came to Chim. Not the other way around. Because Darvan wasn't allowed to take anything from Ymora because he would ruin everything. Chim decided it was best to let the RP forums know he was planning to revive Ymora. So Chim moved his busy schedule around and tried to fix things so the first chapters could run smoothly. 6. 80 - 90% of Chim's free time is absorbed by Ymora. And if all Chim gets is "I'm not interested" and "I don't ever want to interact with Samantha", Chim doesn't feel very motivated to keep things going. Right now the interest is almost zero. So what the fuck do you all want? That I give everything on a silver platter? That I tell you what you need to do? Because Spinda's personality is perfect to get into Samantha's room and uncover her secret. Now it didn't play out as I planned, which is fine, so I used her to drag Claude and Wolt. Because Wolt would've just left without doing anything. I also haven't revealed my own PC for two reasons: * I'm still working on some errors so I keep my influence minimum right now * I waited until I could see how many female PCs I got. If I had an uneven number, my PC would've been female. And for those who participated last time: Haven't you noticed how little I've been posting? I saw a certain thread made by Murdoc and I tried applying it to the first chapter. I've also been acting as a storyteller instead of guiding things with NPCs or whatever. My point is that I haven't been involved and gave everyone freedom. What do I get back? Nothing but negativity and whining because I introduced a character in a way people would dislike her. I DID THIS ON PURPOSE BTW. All the small things I have done so far were never random acts. But if people want to do nothing but complain, what the fuck am I supposed to do? Can I get some time to actually tell this story or not? Or do you want everything on a silver platter? I'm not going to lie. Right now my interest in continuing and updating is very low. I rather spent the little free time I have left on something that people appreciate or just something that I can do for my own. If you don't want to bite the bullet and want everything spoiled and on a silver platter, let me know and I'll tell you everything you want. I also saw you do it in Stratos's RP (which I've been neglecting because I'm too busy) and there you even mentioned you were considering to drop out. In my opinion you're attitude as a player comes over as a negative one if things don't go the way you want or if you're confused. No matter how much you try to justify or sugercoat things. That's twisting my words. Like I said, so far I've only seen you complain about Samantha and now this. By telling me you aren't interested is still not considering other people. If Tacos is too busy I can't really say anything but hes not the only one who that's involved. ExLink, Dobby (on holiday) and Commander are as well. I just linked 'I don't like that character and I'm going to avoid her completely' and 'I'm not interested in this scene' together. Especially with the way you wrote it. Because that's all I've heard from you so far. And I have no idea how you turned that into thinking that I'm not allowing you any freedom. All I said was if people don't want to take initiative and get involved (aka the impression you are giving me right now), I will narrow possibilities down so I don't get burned out like last time by going out of my way to force posts that basically tell others what to do.

To me that sounds like you're not willing to participate until the plot starts and showing no consideration towards the other players. That was my intention yes. Gather all 4 students and let them find a way out. I'm also waiting on AuthorReborn before I can update that situation and I'll probably find something else for Adeline and Emberly for now. I was waiting until one of them would notice Doux but I guess both Hukuna and Tacos are a bit busy.

She circled around the future supreme Coordinator and studied him carefully. “I'm curious.. What makes you so Extraordinaire?” she asked with a twinkle in her eyes. “Are you as delicious as Blondie sounds? Or do you have other... hidden qualities?”

Update is coming tomorrow. For some reason today got really hectic and everytime I tried to write, something came up to the point it's getting annoying and I would just rush. It does give me time to update the NPC overview since I apparently forgot to add Mr. Fisher and Oswald.
