  1. I was targetting her before at the Dorm when I placed her in room 002. Right now I have no particular plans in mind. I was planning to throw Samantha at Maya somewhere later in the story. I'll show why she's an important character later on when she goes back to the dorm. Also about the RoG agents: numbers 11 and 17 were their actual numbers when in training and show how strong they are. They never reached top 10 but there's more to these two so don't go challenging them and expect to win at this point in the story. They are very well trained and have far more experience. Matt won't lose while the other one might throw the match. Keep this in mind when picking an opponent on day 2.
  2. I don't know what you're talking about... I'm totally not targetting Maya and her Spinda at all. And the blond RoG member is going to act as my PC. At first I thought Samantha would be the best option considering plot reasons, but by doing this I can let RoG befriend some PCs. I'll reveal his information when it matters since I just scrapped his team, including his starter and reworked him a bit. I might still go for Turtwig if I don't find any better options.
  3. Stratos Samantha was bouncing all over the place, excited about the thought of getting a new Pokémon. She knew exactly which one she wanted. Now it was just a matter of being fast enough. The red head didn't even notice the Pokédex at her feet, but luckily for Maya, her Chimchar did. The little monkey jumped from her shoulder and started to fiddle around with the device at the same time Samantha heard Maya's annoyance. “Peanut galary? I prefer normal peanuts though! What about you, Louis?” she asked when she saw the device in the monkey's little paws. “Is that mine? Did you steal it already!?” Samantha said loud enough for everyone nearby to hear. The young fire specialist searched all her pockets and felt relieved when she found her Pokédex. “Nope. Where did you get that Pokédex? I hope you at least had the decency to steal from some hot and dreamy guy.” Outside “Yo, dubbel digits, wait up!” a small blond boy yelled. “I told you to stop calling me that!” Matt said agressively, completely ignoring his roommate. “What's with the cold shoulder? I thought we were friends! We trained together for years you know?” “Fuck off.” “Rude.” “Stop pretending like we're friends. We never got along! I don't know why they appointed you out of all people for this important mission...” Matt grumbled. “Ah, because they needed some brains to stop the Musclehead from screwing things up!” the blond said. Matt's teeth made a screeching noise. Day fucking one and his 'partner' already pissed him off. At this rate he would either lose his mind or punch the kid in the face before the week was over. "No reply? Skitty got your tongue?” “I told you to fuck off. Don't speak to me unless it's about the mission.” “You really need to watch your language, young man! Professor Redwood and professor Cadmus won't like it!” the blond boy said with a high pitched voice, trying to imitate a mother scolding her child. “Don't threat me like a little kid! I swear I'll punch you through the wall!” Matt's face turned red from anger. “And don't think I'm scared of you! I know the real you and I can take you on! I ranked higher overall during our period as recruits!” “Yeah yeah, you're amazing for reaching Number 11. I wonder what little old me, who only reached 17, would ever do.” The sarcastic undertone from the boy drove Matt over the edge and he knew it. Not that he cared. The two of them never managed to see eye to eye. And bullying a bully was always great relief against boredom. Matt turned around and turned his hands into fists. “I know what you've done. Don't think that innocent act of yours will protect you forever!” The blond only raised an eyebrow and watched Matt leave. “I never hid my actions. They all deserved it,” he mumbled before turning around and going the opposite way.
  4. Joey stared with interest at the mysterious man as he disappeared from view. “So that Gengar is his...” the young trainer muttered. “Interesting. He could be the person we're looking for Ishmael. We might be able to give us a clue how to break this... limit we've reached.” Ishmael roared in disagreement. In his eyes they hadn't reached a limit at all. It were his trainer's needless doubts that kept him from reaching higher levels. If only he could get that through his dumb human's skull. Unfortunately for the Sea Serpent his trainer wasn't listening. Instead Joey made an attempt to follow Khan when his companions started to discuss something, followed by that Gengar's display of powers. It was enough to distract Joey for a second and make him lose sight of Khan. 'Dammit! Just when I wanted to ask him a few questions.” He was about to ask Khan's whereabouts to whomever he could find, when his eye fell onto an unfamiliar hooded woman. She looked surprisingly calm under the circumstances. Joey quickly turned on his heel and made his way over to the mysterious woman. In his haste he even almost knocked over Steele. “Hey there, Miss, the name is Joey. And who might you be?” he said when he reached his hooded target, completely unaware that he almost ran over the Ice Queen.
  5. He would but Khan's power managed to grab his full attention. And the Hooded Girl seems to know him. And I have no idea where Steele currently is
  6. I'll try to get something up today. I have a feeling Joey will like this hooded woman.
  7. Yeah I wasn't sure. I have no D&D experience so all those abilities are a lot to take in so I decided to just have a go at it and see what needs to be changed. I'm pretty sure I did more things wrong when it comes to those abilities. I did the same with the Demonic Aspects so I probably created too much abilities.
  8. Ok here's my first draft. I went for a drug dealing demon with a weird 'hobby'. Let me know what needs changing to work. I tried not making him sueish but I have a feeling the line is very thin in this RP. Name: Hector Race: Demon Demonic Aspects: 1. Name of Ability: Doll Creation 2. Name of Ability: Overflowing Desire 3. Name of Ability: Drug of Lust Age: 257 (147 when the gates closed) Appearance: Hector is a slender, yet muscular, humanoid demon that stands at 6 feet. His skin is dark blue and he has 2 black wings that aren't suited for flying. He has long black hair that's dark as the night. His eyes are light blue. Personality: A calculating and lustful demon. He lives his life by pursuing his selfish desires until the end. He will never do anyone a favor without getting something in return. He strives to complete his 'Doll Collection' and studied the little information he could find on the Free Races out of boredom. Hector became interested in some of their religions as they preach the exact opposite of what he stands for. (Some of them would consider him to be the embodiment of the Sin of Lust.) Whenever he's bored and learns about something that upsets someone, he will use it just to get a kick out of their reaction. Despite his worst habits, Hector is not violent until provoked. He will use any means to win a battle even if he has to fight dirty. This side is rarely shown as he's usually seen joking around or playing with his Doll Collection. Class: Puppeteer [ Mage, Thief] Lesser Abilities: Signature Abilities: Background: Hector found himself being raised by a Demon he called 'The Contracter' from a young age. He never knew why this demon, who had a nose for business, bothered raising him. Every time Hector asked, the Contracter ignored him. Every time Hector used the demon's real name, he got slapped and told to use his nickname. Years went by and Hector started to learn some schemes, how to seal a deal and how to make a profit. He lived the good live but because he was always by the Contracter's side, he never got to know other creatures on a more personal level. They were all ways to make money and raise the Contracter's influence within the Gates. Eventually war broke out. The Contracter was pleased by this development as it opened various new business ideas. And for the very first time Hector was left out. Every deal that was influenced by the war was being dealt with in secret by the Contracter himself. As a result Hector received more freedom than ever. He was being put in charge to seal small deals and did pretty good. The young demon felt pride and the urge to make more profit but not only in the form of money. He sought new ways to spice up his life and to get out of his daily routine, he gave in to his lusts and desires. One of the results was the creation of his Doll Collection. It was because he finally managed to get result on his own that he never questioned the Contracter's strange behavior. Again a few years went by and two years before the orders to close Dour's Gates were given, the Contracter got killed. Hector went on a rampage and in his desire for answers, got sidetracked and dug too deep; the Contractor had double crossed some higher ranked creatures within the Castle by doing shady business. Hector, fearing he would be next because of his bond with the Contracter, broke all ties and evidence that linked them together. He only kept one piece of paper he found by accident. A part of a Binding Contract written by the Contracter where he agreed to but Hector for a set amount of money. Anti-Humanism: 10. Extra : Doll Collection: A collection of female creatures that never experienced any freedom. They are bought as slaves or were included as payment in a business transaction. Hector was bought in a similar way by the Contracter. He gave them all one of his feathers to wear to increase his influence. Most of them are loyal and obey without question. (Mostly because they are drugged though)

    Greetings

If you had to pick: Garchomp or Seviper?
  10. JORRRRRYYYY I thought you left the forums? That's what Dobby said... The damned House Elf lied... I shall let him write I must not tell lies until it sinks in deep enough! Does this mean you're back? ^^
  11. Alright I can give him the desire to expand his collection with Free Race Females. And I was thinking to use Thief as primary class, but I'm not sure if Puppeteer / Contractor abilities would fit in there. Mage might be the better option with Thief being a low second class.
  12. Redwood turned his face to Kage's direction. “During the first month you will be constantly tested and screened. This goes from how you raise your Pokémon on a daily base to test your knowledge and how well you improve. All of these factors play a role. We can decide a trainer is ready to train a Dratini with a more gentle nature but can't handle a stubborn Bagon yet. I won't go into further detail because that would take far too long but in general it's a long process that's influenced by many situations, training styles and personalities. The answer to your second question is much simpler. Yes, hatching a Pokémon from an egg is an essential part in the Breeding Program. Those students will have to take care of multiple hatchings under strict supervision. At the start of your second year, each and everyone of you who is interested, will be given a random egg to raise. You can't choose or swap with someone else for the first six months.” Some students immediately started to mumble about how unfair it would be to hatch a weak Pokémon, but Redwood simply ignored them. Like always there was some kind of motive behind his actions. “And that concludes this welcoming party. I'd say get out of here and go enjoy the rest of your day. Tomorrow morning we will expect you at the grounds behind the gym at 9AM. Don't be late or else you'll have to pick last!” The professor waved to the crowd one last time and made his way towards Devin Cadmus. The two immediately resumed their earlier conversation as they left through one of the smaller exits. ((I'll give you guys a few days to interact and explore. All NPCs, including Matt, are free to talk to if you don't know what to do.))
  13. I vote this. And thanks for bunnying Joey. I managed to catch up so I should be good to get back into this
  14. Sooooo... today turned out to be very hectic and I didn't had the chance to write the promised update. And I don't know if I'll be able to make it tomorrow because I seriously injured my ankle. Work tomorrow is going to be hell because I literally can't put any weight on it. Last time I had pain like this it was broken and I had a surgery + 3 years of recovery until I could do any sport again. And of course with my luck my doctor doesn't work tomorrow so I might have to go to the hospital and waiting lines are a pain and very time consuming....
  15. ... I had to read everything twice and still too much for my brain to handle. So I got a few questions as well: 1) How does religion in this RP work? Is there a church and do they have a lot of power? Do humans worship a god or something similar? 2) How common are normal humans in Castle Dour or can they be smuggled inside? 3) Do all characters have to face combat? Or can they survive by pulling strings and networking? My idea was to create a Demon character based on the SIn of Lust. He likes to mess around with people and collect females to do his chores. (so not the normal 'lust' people might think). He will be instigating and confusing humans for his own guilty pleasures. His true nature would be more like a business orientated character when it comes to dealing with things inside Castle Dour / other monsters. The third question is more because I already struggled with combat scenes in Graterras and this one takes it to a whole new level. So I'd like to have a character that can use his influence to turn bad situations into his favor by using his brain instead of fighting skills.
  16. Not for first years. It's one of the things I changed because it didn't work out last time.
  17. No problem. The next update will probably be Monday. I have a busy weekend coming up so I can't promise I can answer Kage (and maybe others?) in between stuff. And after Redwood's speech I'll give some more free time but I want to start the second day (and handing out Pokémon) around next Friday or so depending on the activity.
  18. A young boy with an arrogant look on his face snorted at the job and internship questions that were being asked. He had thick eyebrows, short black hair, brown eyes and was wearing a ripped jeans and a sleeveless white shirt that revealed his muscles. The young RoG member leaned against the wall and didn't pay any further attention to Redwood. He wasn't interested in these dumb questions. Instead he searched for the people who had just asked the questions. Did they really think they had enough skill to go ask for internships like that? Matt decided to memorize their faces just in case as his thoughts became occupied with a very important decision. Which pseudo legendary Pokémon would he get? Tyranitar was an obvious choice. Intimidation factor and raw power could never hurt, but was it wise to start his mission with a second dark type? He still had his trusted Carvanha and wasn't really planning to leave himself wide open to other types just in case he had to fight someone. And he just loved to trash other people and having lots of different typings could certainly prove useful. In the end it came down to one deciding factor; between Salamence and Garchomp, which one would do more damage? Redwood on the other hand was quite surprised first year students were already thinking about internships and jobs. “Alright, let me answer the question about small accidents first. Yes, things like that do happen with a Pokémon in training. In fact it's bound to happen and you can't stop it. Therefore we will not punish small accidents were no one got hurt. If we notice you're struggling with a new move you taught your Pokémon or something similar, we will give you some advice on how to improve. We try to encourage young trainers to find their own way so don't expect the solution given to you. It's a whole different story if another trainer gets hurt. While these incidents are minimal within the Academy, we can't avoid them all. They do happen and when someone gets injured we will investigate the circumstances. Unfortunately I can't give you a straight answer since our decisions are made case by case. But you don't have to worry. Usually we offer extra guidance if it was a genuine accident. However if you actually do harm someone on purpose, you will be removed from this academy and all your Pokémon will be taken. You will also be registered on a black list so the authorities can check if you are allowed to have Pokémon or not. This only happened once before.” “Now to answer the other two questions. Yes, we actually offer internships in many different Breeding Facilities. After you have finished your three years of training, we offer a special course for the students who do not wish to travel around and challenge gyms. These internships cover many different aspects. You can join the Ymora League behind the scenes, work under Roman and the Dragon Repopulation Program, pick a Breeding Facility of your choice, follow a Gym Leader and many more. But like I already said that's for after your graduation. I do advice you to talk to Roman when you visit the Dragon Breeding Facility. He will be there and can give you more information.” Suddenly Redwood showed a mischievous smile. “At least that's how we're currently working. There may be some changes in the future... But alas that's not for now. Are there any other questions left?”
  19. Redwood snickered once again at Claude's fairy remark. He secretly enjoyed the funny troublemakers. Unlike Devin. The E4 member's frown only added to his intimidation as he decided to keep an extra eye on Claude. “I see. Fairy types sure are popular these days, but in general they have a very positive image. Unlike Dragons, some Dark types and a few other species. Some of you may have heard that my research indicates that young and inexperienced trainers should not train powerful Pokémon that have the tendency to go on a rampage such as Hydreigon or Salamence. While it is true that such Pokémon are known to go berserk if their trainer can't handle their power, my research also proved the oppossite. If we pair young trainers up with young dragons and learn them how to handle them in a responsible way, 98% of the accidents can be avoided. And that my dear troublemaking students is why we're going to this facility.” The Professor turned his back for to the audience for a moment and used the remote control to start his slideshow. This time it showed a picture of two black men that were obviously related. “These gentleman are Roman and Alastair Connor. Roman, the oldest gentleman on the right, is the head of the Dragon Repopulation Program as well as one of the most influencial people in charge of the Ymora League. He's an excellent breeder and in his day was feared as one of the strongest people. He once refused to join the Elite Four and instead dedicated his time to the breeding and saving of Dragon Pokémon.” The man Redwood just described had a stern, clean shaven black face with friendly grey eyes. The picture only showed from his shoulders up but that was enough to see the man still was atheletic. “The younger gentleman on the left is his oldest son Alastair. He is the one who is currently running the facility while building an entire network information to stop Pokémon Hunters. He's also Devin Cadmus's best friend and the back-up Dragon type Gym Leader in case that spot opens. Even though the chance is pretty high he might make it straight to the Elite Four but just like his father he would probably refuse the spot.” Alastair looked just like a younger version of his father. The only differences were the warm green eyes and the scar that ran above his right eye and disappeared into his short black hair. Redwood pushed the button again. This time it showed a Goodra and a Hydreigon. “Very simple picture that doesn't need much explaining. Goodra is a very kind Pokémon while Hydreigon tend to be more... defensive. Due to their blindness and constant alert, they are very defensive and quick to react. I don't know why but this Pokémon in particular is feared by a lot of people. This time I speak directly to the parents amongst the audience. Yes, your sons and daughters will meet a full grown Hydreigon on this trip and can even obtain a Deino if we consider them ready. We do this so we can guide our young trainer for three full years and can see them built their bonds. That way a Hydreigon is less likely to go berserk. Same goes for all the other dragons and aggressive species like Hippowdon and Drapion. I'll get back to this in a few minutes. What I really wanted to show you was this. Right now you see a normal Goodra and a normal Hydreigon. What if I told you this next picture are the same two Pokémon?” Without a word Redwood went to the fourth slide. This time the Goodra and Hydreigon were portrayed from behind. Immediately some people grasped for breath or made other noises as they saw the scarred backs of both Pokémon. “This was done to them by their respective trainers. The Hydreigon trainer was incredibly disappointed with the performance of his Pokémon in battle. The Goodra trainer found the friendly personality it once had to be annoying and not useful. This was the end result.” A fifth picture showed with a landscape that was completely annihilated. Rocks and rubble were lying everywhere and both Pokémon seemed to be fiercly injured. Whoever made the picture had masked the faces of both trainers. One of them was crawling away while the other one lay in the midst of the rubble. “One of them ended up in a wheelchair. The other one laid in coma for three months and has never been the same again. They were lucky. They were also the reason this Academy was neccessary. And they are what you will never become. As you can see a friendly Goodra can turn the landscape in nothing more than rubble and dust and even injure a person. A Hydreigon can do the same. But you know what they also can? This.” A sixth picture showed with multiple dragon types playing with their trainers on the Academy Grounds. “Ever since we've been using this system, none of our graduated trainers had any problems with Dragons, Drapions, Hippowdons, whatever 'aggressive' species you can find. We have reached incredible results and this is how we did it; tomorrow you will all receive your second Pokémon. You can pick any Pokémon aside from Dragon types, future Dragon types like Horsea and Trapinch, and Pseudo Legendary Pokémon. That means we don't have any Beldum or Larvitar available because we know people will fight over them like in the past. Everyone wants a powerhouse, but very few can control them.” Redwood walked back to the front of the stage. “From the very moment all of you set foot into this Academy the evalution began. This next month you will face test after test and you will be screened and evaluated every possible way. We will look at how you treat your partner you brought as well as the one you will receive tomorrow. We will test your knowledge, your strengths, your weaknesses, your habits. IF we decide you are ready, you can receive your own Dragon Pokémon from the facility. We will also make sure to make Beldum and Larvitar available for those that are more interested in one of those two. For the students that aren't interested in any of these Pokémon but have a special request, let us know and we'll see what we can do. If you want a Fairy Type for example, which are uncommon in our forest, just let us know and we'll make sure you receive one to your request. For those of you we don't deem quite ready yet, this option will always be available. Come talk to me or Devin personally and we will tell you why we don't think you are ready and what you need to do in order to improve. We will guide you and make sure you can receive your beloved Pokémon that way.” “So before I shall take my leave and wish you all an incredible first day; are there any questions?”
  20. Update is coming tomorrow / wednesday if I get hold up. I'll probably cut the interaction with Claude and go straight to the point.
  21. According to Azery there is no such thing as HP Fairy in the game. I guess it counts as a normal attack which is resisted by steel but for some reason hits ghosts.
  22. I used it on every single Pokémon in the game that I could find. It hits ghosts for normal damage so no fighting, ghost, dark. It also hit Voodoodollthingy normally unlike the SE psychic like I have on Oppossite. Also no Bug or Poison since that's resisted. It's not very effective on a steel/water type which means no fire, electric, grass and ground + some types listed above. Normal damage to bug types which means I can add flying and rock to the list. (total 12 types) Also normal damage on flying types so I can add Ice to the list bringing it to 13 types. Elftik is part fairy right? Normal damage: No dragon or steel -> 15 types. And in the sidequest I fought Mouroot and it took normal damage which eliminates the last type (water). So I don't know what else I can do to figure it out...
  23. So I tried testing out the new HP type because I wasn't doing SE damage against a steel type, turns out it's a regular attack. It does the same amount of damage to every possible type already in the game. Nothing was immune, resisted HP or took SE damage. Edit: Lifoam and Oppossite still have the same HP type.
  24. So I upgraded to version 1.5 and I noticed 2 changes with my team when I tried to face Mary: - Lifoam jumped from level 15 to 18 and ignores me. I'm 100% sure he was 15 in version 1.0 since that was my highest level. - Hidden Power changed on my Bunnerd. It had HP Fighting before and when I misclicked, it somehow managed to hit Goshee. So either HP Fighting is working on ghosts (doing normal damage) or his HP changed. Not really a problem since I used Common Candies to lower Lifoam again but I thought I should mention it.
