    I completely missed that Extra part so that's my fault. Aside from that I think I should explain my thought process to avoid any further discussion: Those that were around last time probably remember someone named Antares. I kept telling him over and over again what worked and what didn't work. And Darvan's character's personality reminded me a lot about him. Now since I kept changing things, the reactions I got turned the entire OOC into a battlefield. Now I haven't seen Darvan doing that kind of character in any other RP and I haven't seen him powerplay others so I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, because there are a lot of other characters that don't like people and aren't very sociable. To be blunt I need some Henry's. Darvan's character fits. But this is how things are going to be: At the first sign of powerplaying / not making any sense (aka opposite reactions, doing things in his favor, etc): first warning. I will tell him what's wrong and that he can't keep doing it. Second time: Remember him about what I said the first time because people are allowed to make a mistake. Third time: Final warning Next offense: Out of here. So apparently taking this approach doesn't work either, but if I can stop the BSing around it should.

    Btw Azery, I remember you had an Ymora Region Map. Do you still have it? I think I forgot to transfer it over from my old laptop... And Darvan, one last thing; Make sure there's a line or pattern in your random personality character. I don't want to see opposite reactions just because it would suit you better. The only reason I didn't flag it as a sue is because your character can become the a-hole Commander so dearly wants to see. But yeah, give the character a personality as we go further into the story.

    Accepted. I still find it amusing to place a Pokémon in a PC, unless it's a Porygon or a Rotom. Accepted. Now if I counted correctly, once AuthorReborn changes his move, we got 15 players. I might close sign-ups on Monday since I never expected people to finish this early...

    You're the only one with 2 moves on his starter. You could add things, but be sure to let me and Dobby know. Also don't add anything too powerful. Sucker Punch and Revenge are too strong early on. Also something you didn't know (because I didn't specify this earlier as I thought no one would add the daycare to their backstory. Now I have to find something else -.-') but a Daycare only raises Pokémon and doesn't have anything to do with breeding. There are special breeding facilities in this world that do the actual breeding. It's also not uncommon for Breeding Facilities to work together with a Daycare. More info on the Facilities will become clear during the story. Also 'first person to notice sketchy things' is something you can't know. Rephrase is in a way that it doesn't sound like he's better compared to other PCs.

    Yeah no problem. You still got like a week or so, just saying that I don't expect many more people will join. Also since Darvan posted while I was editing, I'll place it here: Bagel, Stratos, Tacos and K_H are accepted. @AuthorReborn: Change the Morning Sun to String Shot or something and you're good to go. @Hilda: Foul Play is a really strong move and OP in the beginning of the story. You can change that or drop it (and let Pancham learn it later on) and you're good to go as well.

    I wanted to change the Icy Wind thing until I looked up Spinda's moveset. It sucks. I also don't expect there will be many more applications, so I might be able to add the NPCs. I'm not sure if I'm going to reveal / finish all of them on time since some will appear much later into the story. And their importance will also change depending on where we are in the story.

    He's already using Farfetch'd in Stratos's RP. I don't think Hukuna is the type to use the same Pokémon over and over. Also Azery's character will be added to the PC list.

    Very standard character but nothing wrong with it. I was thinking that just 'eager' and 'curiosity' might not be enough, but it can lead to a lot of situations where Simon will be forced to show the rest of his personality. And that way you can discover and learn more about your own character. So the only thing I would like you to change is the Abra. He just happened to find a Pokémon, with a random Abra in it, in the trash disposal when he needed it? Come up with a reason as to why the two are close (or a stubborn Abra that doesn't want to listen is fine as well) and how they met. I want to know how their bond / interaction is at the beginning of the story.

    I know you can do it if you put some effort into it. And you still have enough time to make a character. And I'll get to Bagel's character in a minute. I need some time for this one.

    I still don't like the idea about a lucky character. It's easy to go too far with it because when are you going to use his luck? To win a battle against someone else? To escape a situation I don't want you to escape? And how far can you 'rely' on it before it runs out?

    Tropius gets D-dance? Wtf? But no, it's not OP as a starter. Just make a character. I already stated that the IC won't be here before October 4th. And that's if I don't get delayed. All the rest is basically what Huk said. Make Anna less OP and don't set for a straight road you want to take with Shiro. That's what you did last time and I get the same feeling this time around. Leave some stuff open so there are other ways for Shiro to react to certain situations. For example: last time you were keen on the idea of forcing Shiro to take over the company. Now you basically do the same by stating that his parents, at some point, will withdraw him and that he has no say in it. It's already decided, no room for something else. But what if Shiro gained friends and the confidence to say no? What will his stereotype parents do? Etc... Right now I get the feeling Shiro won't grow much as a character and still obey even if it means saying goodbye to his friends.

    @Azery; Your character is all about luck, but how do you want to play that out? Aside from that James seems to be very normal (like Robert). Also, since Absol doesn't evolve, change Razor Wind. It's going to be OP early on considering it's a non-stab move with 80 BP. @Bfroger: Your backstory doesn't leave much room to grow. We basically know everything about him already and there's no room to expand. Will-O-Wisp is pretty powerful early on. It would be nice to see that Shun wants to learn it because he wants to be able to protect Shiro even better or something. And the last thing: A 13 year old wielding the power of a Mega Absol is waaaay too much. A part of this RP is based on the idea that it's ridiculous that young kids can go on an adventure with powerful creatures. It's fine for Anna to be a prodigy, but where the hell did she get the megastone on such an early age? Mega stones aren't discovered that long ago and only very powerful adults have Pokémon that reach the level were they can mega evolve. You basically placed Anna at E4 level when she's only 13.

    Yeah I missed the WIP. I scrolled through and saw a picture so I assumed (without reading) you finished your character. Woops xD I had a tab open on your character. I was reading through it when I posted and forgot to mention you... Figures.

    Btw it seems that Murdoc edited in Kages information and I already got the clarification I wanted from ExLink. If you see no problems with them, they are in as well. That means I still need to take a look at Tacos, Bagel, K_H, Azery. If I overlooked anyone, let me know! It's a pain in the ass going back to check reserved posts.

    The most brutal thing I did was show Tacos's character his own death. xD Btw Exlink, I got a question for you: how strong is Wolt's father exactly? Because there was some confusion about this last time as well, but showing no interest in becoming Champion is a pretty big deal. In this RP there are no 10 year olds to stop evil organizations, instead the champions (+ E4 members and gym leaders did that.) They really are OP characters at full power and everyone wants to be like them. (Well most young kids. Works the same as admiring an athlete when you're 10). So just walking away from the spot would earn Wolt's dad a lot of attention, not to mention the power he holds...

    I never said I want to see all details, unless people want to play as a RoG character. I mainly use backstory to find something to throw at PCs (if possible) to see how they will react. Edit: I usually go by play as well. I think I did that with most characters or only kept the key points.

    I don't accept characters with special traits. Simple as that. Btw wise words from Dobby: Probably because I expanded upon the backstory moreso in the RP than actually in the App. Which I feel we should suggest to some of the people. They keep following this formula of "X lived here, thing happened to motivate them, here they are." Which is fine, but some variety might be nice, you know?

    Weapons get you kicked out of the Academy immediately. If you start on RoGs side they wouldn't allow it either unless the character has permission which they don't give easily. So no, weapons aren't allowed.

    Ikr and no one wants to start at RoGs side. At this point I'll make a character to use as my PC and make him a RoG member in the Breeder program. Feedback on finished applications will come soon. For those that reserved a post, notify me or Dobby when you actually finish.
