I decided to give this one a shot. So far the MC is annoying as hell and his victory over the champion was really cheap... I'll give it a few more episodes and hope it gets better.

Don't worry, I didn't see this thread until now so no need to apologize. xD Anyway how long has it been since I joined the RP forums? 2 years? To me you're like part of the furniture and I really enjoyed Sigurd (and Graterras as a whole) as well. Now that I think about it, there were a lot of awesome RPs around back then... those good old days.

Happy B-day Rawrchomp. I hope you have a good one ^^

@K_H: I'm wondering why Leonidas and Lara are doing everything by themselves. Jack hasn't given any instructions as far as I can remember and right now I'm imagining him just standing there like a sack of potatoes. The only thing he seems to be doing is smiling while his allies are getting their asses handed to them which, personally, I find a bit weird.

Routes of Hazzard – Final Stretch – Brendan and Champion Headbutter Titan Now they had done it. The Watchog was pissed and seemed to have it in for Titan. “Here he comes, use Harden!” Brendan yelled. He knew they alone wouldn’t stand a chance against the boss. Their only hope was to stall it out until the others could back them up. The Roggenrola realized this as well. There was no way he could dodge and judging by the last attack he took from Hog, this was going to hurt. A lot. Right before the impact the rock type’s exterior glanced in a silver light, increasing his defense, as Titan did the only thing he could do. He stayed as low to the ground as he could, almost curling up in a ball, and placed his feet firm into the dirt.

[IC] ANKL Chapter I: As if a Dream
Chim replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Lana Thank Alexus this Arturia girl seemed to be reasonable. The last thing Lana wanted was for their discussion to escalate. And for the second time in a few minutes she went out of her way and addressed Haley. “Uhm, your acquaintance is waiting. Don’t you want to talk to her?” Lana refrained from using the word friend. Just by looking at the redhead’s entrance, she doubted the two could be considered close. -
I'm digging Titan's new titel... And I guess there is no way for the fifth Patrat to back down?
-
Routes of Hazzard – Final Stretch – Brendan and Champion Headbutter Titan Brendan took a deep breath after Titan managed to knock out one of the Patrats. He didn’t like to do this at all. From his point of view they were still the ones invading, but apparently there was no other way to solve the situation. He and Titan had no choice but to fight. And if that’s the case, it was best to knock their opponents out clean, right? They would only wake up with a bump and a headache instead of bleeding out on the ground. Or be burned to a crisp. “Is this what you want?” Brendan asked the Watchog. “Two of your friends went down fighting and a third is in serious trouble. If you really care about them, stop this ridiculous fight now. You can still protect the one next to you from harm and help the ones injured.” Titan agreed. The Roggenrola had made his way back towards his trainer and position himself in between Brendan and the Watchog. This ridiculous battle had gone on long enough. If the Watchog wasn’t willing to back down, he better stepped up himself.

[IC] ANKL Chapter I: As if a Dream

She was wrong. The situation had just turned out like Lana expected. Great. A rude redhead versus a silver haired girl who apparently couldn’t deal with this type of people. And then there was the third girl who seemed to have unwillingly caused this. As far as Lana could tell the girl addressed as Lucille was similar to her. If that was the case there was no way she could stop the other two from tearing at each other. “Uhm, excuse me,” Lana tried, calling out to the girl with the silver hair. “Maybe we should let them talk? They seem to know each other.” -
[IC] ANKL Chapter I: As if a Dream

Lana Wasn’t the library supposed to be quiet? Lana’s gaze stayed focused on the same sentence in her book without really reading what was written. She was startled by the entrance the fierce redhead had made and didn’t really feel like getting involved into something that wasn’t her business. Especially not on the first day. Hell, the only reason she was here was because it would’ve been rude to ignore the other two girls with her or to sit at another table. But when one of the two spoke up, in a not so friendly way, Lana wished she had picked another table. Or better yet, that she could slide under the table and disappear from what seemed to be the start of an argument. Instead she finally looked up from her book and waited. Maybe this situation wouldn’t be so bad after all. -
I wasn't really sure if one more attack would finish Loam and Titan's opponent. And since the hosts want to move this chapter along, I figured I'll let Stratos decide which Patrat gets tackled to potentially speed things up.
-
Routes of Hazzard – Final Stretch – Brendan Relief washed over Brendan when he saw Loam moved in for the knock out. The young trainer couldn’t help but still feel bad for those Patrat and like they were going overboard by ganging up against them. It would be an entire different situation if Brendan and Titan were fighting an actual trainer as an opponent. In that case there would be no hesitation to go for the finishing blow. But right now, when they were invading wild Pokémon territory who were fighting for survival? No. Brendan still had trouble accepting the circumstances. By the looks of it the Patrat they were fighting was about to get up again which left Brendan with the question how much strength it had left. Would it be overkill to order Titan to attack as well? Wouldn’t it be best to change targets and back up Meena like he intended to do in the first place? But what if Loam couldn’t knock the rodent out? In the end Brendan decided to wait and see if Loam would be successful or not. Meanwhile Titan was following his orders and placed himself between the two fighting parties, his yellow artifice facing towards Loam and her opponent. The Roggenrola mustered all the strength he could get and hopped on his little feet. This way he could change directions more quickly just in case the Mudkip’s attack was enough. If not, he could help her in an instant. For Brendan this was the best solution. By placing Titan between the two fighting parties, something was bound to get tackled by the rock type without potentially knocking down an already defeated foe.
-
Routes of Hazzard – Grand Stretch – Brendan Brendan knew they were in trouble when the Watchog easily dealt with Titan and Loams attacks. And when the mudfish left to help out Meena, Titan was left alone against two opponents. “Retreat for now. We can’t beat them on our own. Let’s back up the others instead.” The rock type followed the instructions and hopped over to one of the other Patrats. Unfortunately his ear was still ringing so he missed the part where Mio ordered Loam to just distract the rodent. Titan, completely misunderstanding Mio’s intensions, decided to back up Loam instead of Meena. After the water guns had passed, the Roggenrola hopped forward again to try out his new move. His forehead, at least Brendan assumed it was a forehead, glanced a little where Titan was storing his power before he moved in to headbutt the Patrat.

@genderlesshawke: Do you want dibs on the first reaction now? Because Loam and Titan are kinda screwed... xD

So I decided to try something new instead of Pokémon related RPs and I never had the change to fully develop Lana: Forum Name: Chimchain Character Name: Lana Everhart Age: 16 – May 17, 1023 Personality: A caring and friendly girl. She lacks confidence and is shy when she meets someone for the first time so she tends to act excessively polite. Lana will open up more in smaller groups (max 2-3 others) but only if she’s comfortable with everyone around. Surprisingly, Lana does not back down from a fight when she strongly believes in the cause she’s defending. Appearance: Lana has long brown hair that she often ties in a ponytail. If not, it reaches just over her shoulders. She has deep green eyes, has a normal build stands at 5’5”. She always wears something comfortable. Line of Belief: Practicing Alexian Modifier: Fury Other: She loves singing when she thinks no one can hear her. ((If there are already too many Fury modifiers, Eye can also work for her.))

Routes of Hazzard – Grand Stretch – Brendan Brendan’s eyes widened in surprise when none other than the Watchog joined the battle. His original plan, keeping one Patrat busy so his allies could play the numbers game, flew out the window when the rock hit Titan on his hearing crevice. Luckily for the Roggenrola, Loam’s support had moved the rock just a little bit. It was enough to reduce the exterior damage. However Titan’s hearing was off. A million bells were currently ringing inside his rocky exterior and because of that he wasn’t able to pinpoint his opponent. Instead he staggered around a little, trying to regain his balance. The duo was forced to play defense until Titan was able to recover his senses so Brendan turned to Mio. “Can Loam go offensive? I might be able to make an opening, but Titan is still dealing with the aftermath of that earlier attack.” The Roggenrola tried to listen carefully to his new instructions in between the ringing sound. If all he had to do was buy them some time he would have no problems even in this state. The rock type quickly formed new rocks and shot them in the general direction of his opponents. However this time the rocks didn’t follow each other in a straight line. This time they were shot an inch from one another, forming some sort of flying wall and covering more ground.
-
Routes of Hazzard – Grand Stretch – Brendan Brendan sighed when the negotiations failed and a small Patrat army attacked. “I guess we have no choice, Titan. Use Rock Blast to keep one of them occupied.” The silent gentleman nodded in agreement before firing off three rocks towards the Patrat with the strange defensive tactics. If Titan could keep this one busy, his teammates should have an easier job outnumbering the rest of their opponents.

Sigh. This timing really sucks but I can't help it. My boss won't be able to work for a few months and I have to take over a few responsibilities. This means increased work and a decrease in free time. I'm doing this for two days now and I already noticed my time is very limited to the point I can't run an RP anymore. I have no choice but to close Ymora permanently. With everything that happened before I don't feel like looking for another co-host and drag this out when I simply have no time left to be doing this. So for now I'm retiring from hosting. I'll still be around for the few RPs I'm participating in and who knows, maybe when everything settles I might try something different that's not related to Ymora. I want to thanks you guys for sticking with me and trying to make this a success. But sometimes things aren't just meant to be finished. -

"Routes of Hazzard" - Grand Stretch - Brendan Brendan ran as fast as he could, barely able to keep up with the Watchog. All the sprint training he had to go through during baseball practice seemed so pointless right now since he wasn’t able to close the gap. Instead he managed to get his shirt stuck into the brambles and had to wrestle a bit to get free. Day one of his big adventure and he already had a ruined shirt. This had to be some kind of record. In his frustration, Brendan accelerated. Not caring about any scratches or cutting his shirt even further. He reached the Watchog seconds after Alecks. The confuse ray hitting him in full force while sprinting, messed around with his coordination skills. Instead of running straight ahead Brendan tripped over and smacked into a tree. The young rookie trainer lay with his arms wide open on the ground and didn’t move. First Jason’s remark, then his shirt and now this. His patience was reaching the limit as he finally tried to get up and regain his balance. The crash had made him dizzy but also cancelled a bit of the confusion attack. Just enough so Brendan was able to release Titan. “Alright, hold your Rapidashes. Since when are there two Watchog’s?” Brendan mumbled before clearing his throat. “We don’t mean any harm. We just want the food back you guys stole from the truck earlier. Some Pokémon at the lab really need it. We’re sorry about what happened to some of your friends, we truly are, and I know it’s not an excuse but we’re inexperienced and didn’t realize the brute force of our attacks. What do you say we stop this before the situation gets out of hand even further? If you give us the food back, we’ll heal your friends. Some of them require immediate help right? And I’m sure we can make a deal with professor Juniper about the food situation so it’s a win-win!” Brendan tried to show as best as he could to show the Watchog they really didn’t mean no harm. He had a feeling it was all for nothing, but he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he didn’t at least try. He mustered the friendliest and most genuine smile he could but unfortunately for him, he was talking to the wrong Watchog. A double that only existed in his mind.

Ymora Academy Chapter 2: Breeding Dragons [IC]
Chim replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Claude’s group After everyone had settled to try and solve everything in pairs, Claude took his responsibility as a leader and decided he would be the one to do his puzzle on his own. He was about to walk over towards the Pink balloon when Samantha cut in front of him. She grabbed Lucas by his arm and dragged him along. The playful Flygon with the matching bandana followed the pair. Claude sighed and turned tail, walking over to the Red balloon instead. After all it was the closest color to Pink. He read the message on the wooden stand and sighed once again. “Guys, Red and Blue belong together. I’ll try to handle this myself so pick either Yellow or Green.” He then turned back to read the assignment once again. It was fairly simple. His Flygon, the red one, was Beta. The second in command. Her riddle told Claude that she was the one who spoke the truth while Delta, the Blue Flygon, was a liar. Of course Delta told the opposite. It was up to Claude to figure out which one of the two told him the truth. If he managed to solve it, he would get the nickname of the Flygon who wouldn’t hold back. This left Kage and Robert with two choices: Green or Yellow? The Green one looked a bit lazy and uninterested while the Yellow one had decided it was time to chase his own tail around. Lucas and Samantha On their wooden stand, the duo found the same information about the respective Flygon. She was a female called Sapphira, but her nickname in the squad was Echo. She was the youngest addition to the team and the least experienced one. Her known moves and strengths were also displayed. The second page started with an announcement: Solve these riddles and tell the answers to the researcher assigned to this challenge. He or she will tell you the name of a neutral Flygon. Riddle 1 The first letter you seek belongs to a Pokémon, violent one bite and you either scream or remain forever silent We share the same habitat, but not our origin don’t think our species are alike because that’s a mortal sin Even though we can do the same, we’re as different as night and day my species flies above, not under where they stalk prey Mayanna’s group “Challenge it is then,” the researcher replied. She gestured the group to follow her and led them to a small area that was completely ravaged. On the ground was a roster with 25 squares. The rows were numbered from 1 (top) to 5 (bottom). The columns were marked from A (left) to E (right). Five Gibles were diving into the squares and popped back up, chasing one another. When the researcher cleared her throat they stopped and looked at her mischievously. The researcher reached in her pocket and turned to the students. “This is an unusual challenge that will test your observation skills and logical thinking. A lot of Pokémon have certain habits. I want to know if you’re all able to see that.” She held out her hand and showed 5 Ping-Pong balls. One was black, one was white, one was orange and the other two were grey. She then threw them at the Gibles who all dived for a certain ball and caught them in their mouths. “The challenge is easy. Each of these Gibles will follow a certain pattern. I will ask you, one at a time, to tell me which Gible holds the ball I ask for. They will move around underground and each time they pop up, they will show you the ball. Remember the pattern and predict the square said Gible will appear next. Each of you will go five times in a row. If you can predict three out of five, you win. If three people succeed, I’ll give you a letter you need. Matt snorted. ‘What kind of a lame challenge is this anyway? Who cares if a Pokémon has patterns? I wanna fight some dragons!” The researcher raised her eyebrow. “You really are a dumb one aren’t you? I’ll give you an easy example: you’re battling a strong opponent and are struggling with taking down his ace. Your attacks always miss while you’re being hit and your own Pokémon is about to lose. What do you do? You lose. You would lose this match every single time. A trainer who keeps an open mind and uses his or her head, might remember this little assignment and observe the movements of the opposing Pokémon. For all you know it has a habit of dodging left, follow up with making a dash towards your Pokémon’s blind spot and hit from there. Break an attack or defensive pattern and you can throw your opponent of his game. But fine. I’ll give you a chance. I’ll fight you if you want and if you win, I’ll tell you the letter and you don’t have to play this game. If you lose you still have to do it but there won’t be any penalties. The only catch is that you have no say in it. The rest of your group has to decide now; let no-brainer here fight me or let someone step forward so we can get started. If you pick the second option, please consider carefully who plays first.” The grin on her face was clear evidence she hadn’t told everything about this game. Toshiro’s group Kay whistled when Toshiro left. That guy sure loved his rules and good manners. Unlike a certain Purrloin who kept hissing and held her paw out ferociously every time the breeder came close to her or her human. The cat watched as Toshiro left before jumping on Kay’s lap. Her eyes never leaving the back of her mortal enemy. Toshiro Redwood gave Toshiro his usual warm smile. “Ah, I remember your questions from the first day. I’ll admit I’m surprised you didn’t decide to go for Alastair or Roman. This is just some small talk about your future and school results. After this little talk I will decide if you’re ready to receive some of the more difficult species to handle. So why don’t you start with telling me what kind of breeder you want to become?” Citrine Alastair raised an eyebrow in curiosity. Most students were more timid or asked the adults what all of this was about. There weren’t many who were as straightforward as this girl. He quickly scanned through her profile. “Luna eh? But you prefer to be called by your nickname. Alright, Citrine, what do you want to ask me then?” Wolt “This is about your future, Wolt.” Devin didn’t even bother looking at his screen. He never had any trouble with quickly remembering all the student’s names and faces. His intense grey eyes gave Wolt the feeling professor Cadmus was able to look right through him. The intense aura that the teacher emanated wasn’t helping either. “So why don’t you take a seat and tell me what it is you hope to achieve?” James “That’s right… James, is it?” Roman asked, scrolling over the information on his computer screen. “You’re here to talk about anything you want. I have your school results in front of me and your profile. But one can only know the façade someone is hiding behind from just reading this stuff. It’s all a snapshot of multiple short time periods anyway. What I’m curious about is what drives you? What do want to achieve in the future? How does it feel to be a starting trainer? You can tell me anything you want.” His grey eyes looked straight into James while he leaned back into his chair. -

I expected Toshiro to go to either Roman or Alastair... They have more influence than Redwood when it comes to internships and other things Toshiro might be interested in.
