Good to know Logan can also heal GAO's. Btw I'm planning on letting Crush lose hard, so feel free to be a bit OP in that battle.

Logan started to laugh when he saw the pink ball. He couldn’t think of anything worse for Clint to catch. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. But man, you sure got back luck,” he said while watching the pink thing clinging to Crush. The turtle was clearly annoyed when he couldn’t shake the pink thing off and it turned worse when Flora started to enjoy the little show. The Wartortle tucked into its shell and started to spin wildly, successfully freeing itself and following up with a spray of water. It then turned to Clint and started doing wild gestures with its paws as if it blamed him. “Crush, it wasn’t Clint’s fault so stop picking a fight!” Logan said in an attempt to calm the turtle down, to no avail. The turtle ignored its trainer again and wasn’t letting the change slide to let some steam off.

Super, is Onix out of the capsule or not? Because Crush is going to pick fights with everything in his sight.

“Baaay,” Flora said while rubbing her head against Clint’s chest. The friendly dinosaur obviously liked getting compliments, which earned her a disgusted look given by Crush. The turtle still didn’t approve the new team member despite losing to her. Logan didn’t notice Crush’s actions as he was confused by Clint’s words. “You haven’t caught anything yet? What was that pink thing just now then? Or did Rocky suddenly change appearances?”

“I’ve had it with these stupid tentacles!” Sigurd yelled as he finally managed to cut through one of them, but was forced to dodge two others immediately. Their entire plan had failed miserably. The Death Knight was taking them out one by one; Brass was already down and Nero didn’t look like he could wield a sword again. It reminded Sigurd about the Gentleman all over again and he lost his patience. Not again. I swore on Aelia’s honor I wouldn’t let anything like that happen again. “You there, Death Knight! Stop hiding behind these annoying tentacles and face me as a real man!” he said while the wind started to blow forcefully around him. He closed his eyes for a moment and focused on the breeze on his face and listened to the whispers in the wind. Aelia is with me. He opened his eyes again, accelerated by using the wind and started his battle dance. He managed to fend off the tentacles and made his way towards the Death Knight. He felt the wind getting fouler as he came closer, but it didn’t influence him like the first time. There was something different. The wind he created seemed to collide with the polluted one, like a divine protection that came from heaven itself. He smirked as he stood in front of his enemy. “Your head is mine,” he said while aiming for the Knight’s arm that received Orpheaus’ blow.

A few hours had passed and Logan still hadn’t found his way back. Flora didn’t seem to mind as she enjoyed the forest, but Crush became more and more grumpy and refused to help out. Logan tried to reason with it and even suggested to return it to its capsule, but Crush straight out ignored him. The turtle now walked a few meters behind its trainer, when they reached a stream. “I think we should follow it. At the very least it might lead us to some sort of source or exit…” he muttered. He took a right and continued on his little expedition. It’s strange that Clemont didn’t teleport me back yet. That means either the mission isn’t over or he’s enjoying this. Anyway, I’ll explore a bit more. If it comes to it I might have to find a place to sleep. He followed the stream for another half hour or so, when he finally saw someone. He got a little closer and noticed it was Clint. “Oh hey man, good to see you! I’ve been lost for hours trying to find the way back,” he said while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. Navigation never was one of his strong points. “By the way, this is Flora. She’s my new dinosaur GAO.”

I can be wrong, but I thought most would be around 21-22 with Clint's GAO and Genisa as the exceptions. Even if Lars' have the same levels as Logan's, Crush would focus on the strongest ones. @Super: That's actually a great idea. I'll make a post later today.

It would be helpful if we know which characters are completely accepted besides Stratos and Rosesong. xD I would say it depends on which families don't have anyone. Like the Runeborns can easily manipulate things from the background at the start without having a PC representing them. Or like the Tazmilies; they can pretend they are 'learning' their young lord everything about politics and stay a bit more mysterious. And I took a quick look at PC's and noticed the Tazmilies don't have one. I think the rest is covered... So if that's .correct it might depend on what you had planned for them

That was what I intended. Crush and Logan see things differently. Logan is all about equal levels and safety amongst his GAO while Crush wants to be the strongest in the entire squad. It will take a while before it happens though. I was thinking about using the levels of the entire squad. Right now Logan should have the lowest levels overall. (When it comes to starters anyway). Crush will experience this by either being unable to beat those he has an advantage over, or just not doing so well in terms of battle. He will also experience Ace getting stronger than him and Flora already showed she is more than he can handle. Crush will add some more losses, grow impatient and making mistakes which result in more losses and blaming Logan for it. So I thought that if in the story Logan runs into an enemy he can't beat, Crush will join the enemy. If it doesn't happen, Crush might just walk away and find someone else in the base with high level GAO.

Go ahead. I'm waiting for Stratos to answer since this can be the start of Crush's betrayal. I just planned on letting him lose against an opponent with 2 GAO's weak against water. But Logan can also run into someone else or some powerful wild GAO that kicks his ass.

I think I might take you up on that offer. Btw Stratos, you said we could capture our enemies GAO's in the future, but would they do the same to us? Because I'm considering letting Crush betray Logan.

I'm really enjoying the Clint and Jigglypuff team xD Oh and I decided to make Bayleef level 19. She's the same level as Crush and Ace should be 18.

Ace and Logan made their way deeper into the forest. They had spotted some weaker looking GAO and one time Logan had to use Crush to defend against an angry Spearow and he hadn’t bothered recalling the Wartortle. A few minutes after their escape, they reached a small grassland. Logan didn’t know what he wanted to catch, but he imagined something bigger and more badass than Clint’s Pimperella. He couldn’t wait to see the latter’s face when he showed him. Suddenly Ace rushed forward, waking Logan up from his daydream. “Ace, what are you doing?” he asked confused. “There is nothing to… Wait, is that a big leaf you’re chasing?” Logan and Crush looked on while Ace chased the leaf from left to right, tried to jump it, missed and started all over again. It was like watching a cat chasing a toy mouse. Crush seemed to enjoy the little spectacle, but Logan walked over and ordered Ace to stop. The Leaf creature responded by rubbing its head against Logan’s leg to show its appreciation and he finally had a good look at it. It was small, pale green with red eyes and a leaf on its head. “Aren’t you a friendly one,” he said scratching the creatures chin. “You remind me about those dinosaurs in the old movies…” Logan’s eyes lit up as he pictured the Leaf GAO turning into a powerful dinosaur. “Want to come with me?” he asked with a grin. It didn’t matter if it was a dinosaur or not, he liked the little thing. At least it didn’t look as troublesome as his other GAO. Chiko chiko! The GAO responded in a happy way, but Crush interfered. The turtle raised its paw while shaking its head. “You don’t think it’s strong enough?” Crush nodded and pushed the green GAO away. The little thing responded and everything escalated. The two glanced at each other, ready to fight. Logan sighed. “If you really want to do this, I’m not stopping you. But this is your fight, not mine. I’m capturing it if it puts up a decent fight.” Crush nodded and released a spray of water. It didn’t seem to do much damage as the little green creature responded with shooting razor sharp leafs. Crush took a lot of damage, tucked into its shell and started spinning. Logan was caught off guard. Crush had never done this before but it seemed to work; the remaining razor leafs were fended off as Crush, still spinning, slammed into its opponent. The little green GAO crashed into a nearby tree and for a moment seemed to be defeated, until it suddenly started to glow. Logan recognized it as metamorphosis. The little GAO grew bigger and the leaf on its head took the shape of a scythe. The buds around its neck were also bigger and it still looked a bit like a friendly dinosaur. The newly evolved GAO got up and started to glow again. For a moment Logan thought it would evolve once again, but then noticed something was different. The creature wasn’t glowing but shining. The leaf, buds and toenails colored white as it was taking in sunlight. It ended as suddenly as it begin and Logan noticed its wounds were gone. “Did you just heal yourself?” he asked impressed. “Now I want you even more!” Crush didn’t seem to like it as he started to attack again, but was forced out of the way when razor sharp leafs headed towards him. His opponent stayed on offense as it fired a purple cloud of dust at Crush, who was now standing in front of Ace. The turtle managed to dodge again, but the monkey wasn’t so lucky. It didn’t see the attack coming and was hit. Ace started to shake its head, jumped into a tree and swung its fist at the two fighting GAO. The fight continued for a few more minutes, with Crush at the losing side, when Ace collapsed and fell out of the tree. “Ace! What’s wrong?” Logan rushed to the monkey’s side and took a look at the monkey. He didn’t know that much about healing GAO’s, but when he saw a faint purple glow on Ace’s face, Logan recognized it as poisoning. “He’s poisoned,” Logan mumbled to himself. “But how? He didn’t eat anything wrong…” Crush and his opponent walked over while Logan searched in his back for medical supplies that could help. “I don’t understand how he got poisoned…” Baay! Logan looked up at his future partner and something clicked. “That dust cloud! It was poisonous, wasn’t it?” The green GAO nodded before turning its attention to Ace. Its leaf and buds sprayed a new light blue cloud over Ace. (Aromatherapy) Seconds later the monkey ‘s face cleared and it woke up, still visibly weakened. “You healed him?” Logan asked. “Thanks!” The wild GAO responded by rubbing its head against his shoulder. “You really are friendly. Want to come with us?” he asked while recalling Ace. Yet again, the GAO seemed happy about the idea of going with Logan and this time Crush didn’t interfere. “I guess it’s settled then,” Logan said while grabbing the empty capsule and throwing it at the green GAO. Logan grabbed the capsule after it rolled over once and clicked. He released his new partner. “What to call you? I’ve no idea what species you are or if you’re male or female…” That last remark resulted into a grumpy reaction. “Wow, looks like you’re female then! Sorry, I didn’t want to insult you.” The female GAO stared at Logan with one eye before rubbing its head against his. “So you’ll forgive me then?” he asked with a smile. “Well, since you're a grass type and you have flower buds, I think I’ll call you Flora. What do you think, Crush?” The grumpy turtle nodded in approvement, which was enough for Logan. “Now let’s go back to base.” -------------------------------------------------------------------- An hour later they were stranded in the middle of the forest. Crush and Logan didn’t remember the way back so they followed each other and it got even worse when Flora didn’t know where they were either. Apparently she didn’t travel all that far in the forest and stayed rather close to her habitat. Logan looked around. They were surrounded by trees and rocks and he saw at least five different ways they could go. “Damn, I think we’re lost…”

Sigurd jumped out from his position as he saw Xavier using a rather interesting method on those tentacles. He decided to copy the Fire Templar and created forceful wind strikes to create a path towards the enemy. “This Death Knight sure has some crazy fantasies!” he yelled. “By the way, the tentacles don’t count! But let’s make his head worth 10 points!” he said while watching it battle against the Victonaries.

Since Chikorita evolves early, am I allowed to let it evolve while battling? And I just realized it's movepool sucks

Logan made his way to the forest and looked closely if any of the other cadets were around. He wanted to win the bet and was sure he had an advantage to do so: Ace. Logan released the monkey and watched as it swung around some nearby trees. “I thought you would like this place,” he said with a laugh. “But listen, we’re here to catch a new team member. You can move more swiftly through these trees than any other GAO, so help me out.” Ace, who listened while hanging upside down from a tree, nodded and started to move deeper into the forest with Logan behind him.

I couldn't resist turning it into a battle xD

Logan smiled when he heard Clint turning the new GAO catching into a competition. And as expected; Sid was the first to join. Logan could tell it would cause trouble if those two disagreed, which gave him an idea. “And how exactly do we decide who caught the top GAO?” he asked while showing 5 dollars. “Size? Looks? Or maybe you want to decide it with a battle?”

I considered Happiny, but I think I'll go for that Chikorita. Gotta love a team full of starters xD

Logan was excited when he saw the new capsules and heard their new mission. He was looking forward to a new team member, when he realized what he would get the poor thing into. He could only hope Ace and Crush would behave as he followed Lionel to the Western Side Gate.

Meh I don't know what I want as a GAO. Any suggestions?

I don't have any problems with it. I'm looking forward to this one.

Eugene woke up with a small panic attack. For a moment he thought he was caught again, before he remembered he was in a save place. And who was Rebecca? He opened the bedroom door and stuck his head out to see if anyone else was around, before walking carefully towards the noise.
