The lack of info is also what opens up the games for a lot of potential, which gives rise to most of those speculation videos.. Personally, I find it exciting and fun to see what people come up with... Especially since you never know which one of them may eventually end up as truth. In my view, a pokemon Z would be at this point obsolete on its own, since the anime and movie would already tell us the "plot" with Zygarde and it's usually the other way around..we see it in the games first and then we see it get integrated in the anime. It is probably bad marketing for them to release Z right now..thus why I'd hope we get a Kalos return as a secondary region postgame like Johto and Kanto. P.S. that's some eerie stuff right there... Makes me think of a place akin to lavender town

That video does indeed sound plausible, but I kinda really hope we don't get another hoenn-like region..I mean..we've just had Hoenn. We need a change of "theme" imo, but well, Hawaiian-based region doesn't sound bad anyway.. To me it doesn't really matter where it's based as long as it's a double region game that makes us go back to Kalos for some zygarde/volcanion side plot Also, if pokemon game titles are all based on colors and minerals..what are X and Y? They're letters... so , pokemon is deviating from their patterns slowly. Also, given that Kalos and ORAS are the beginning of this new timeline, it makes sense that the "color and mineral" names will be replaced by other things

Personally, whatever this game will be, gen 7 or gen 6.5, will it travel back to kalos like johto+kanto, will it not? Doesn't matter to me, I just want a game with a plot on par with BW/2 and not a repeat of XY that mainly exist for you to look at pretty french scenery :T

Well, I wouldn't know since I've never been to Florence.. Italy was too giant for me to visit fully even if I lived there for a good few years. But that picture did look like something italian and more fashiony or fancy than say..for example..England. Definitely does look European to me but wellp, we will see eventually with more info. My first ever battle against Noel also came down to a struggle. Basically (this was pre-gen6 reborn), the clefable could not KO my maxed spdef set up Luxray, nor could my Luxray KO the maxed meteor mash Clefable... so I kept healing when needed, the field healed the clefable too, as did its lefties. Eventually, it struggled and the damage it did to itself overwhelmed the heals it got per turn until it KO'd itself. The end. Post-gen 6, I never had real issues with Noel

It was a dark rainy night (literally in both the game and RL). My friend had recommended me this game and I was finally going to try it. As I start my adventure, there's already this feeling of desolation. Trainwreck, earthquakes, scarcity of pokemon? Awesome.. let's get me a starter! Walking into a fancy building, meeting a fancy prof... Everything looks cool so far.. Oh, what's this?A wide selection of starters, hm? Good good.... What should I pick? It's been a while since I used a Charmander, let's go with that. What could go wrong anyway? And so, 10minutes in, I venture out into the wild with a Charmander... But look, it's raining! Neh, who cares? Trainers are easy anywa- Oh, what? Just how many pokemon do you have, dood? Why are they already at my level or higher? Well, nevermind, I'm sure my fire can-oh wait..... What do you mean I blacked out?? This was not the plan! Ok, f this sh*t, I'm picking a mudkip. And that is how my first experience went.

I am more a fan of the moon logo, but it's too early to pick for me.

Personally, I don't see a problem in this being gen 7, if it's real. We saw 2 generations on the DS, we could see 2 generations on the 3ds as well. They already said back when we got XY that they're always looking to do things people wouldn't be expecting (back then people expected hoenn remakes before gen 6). To all the people saying it makes no sense to release 2 products on the market at the same time.... Spinoffs and mini pokemon games get released together with the main games in the same year all the time. That they will possibly announce new games now doesn't mean we will see them released next month or in 4 months. In any case, pokemon GO and pokken would release before the main games, just like it's always been until now. They may well be placeholders as stated, but they may be real as well. We shall find out today but I do hope they're real because 2 years without a pokemon maingame would be a shame, especially on the 20th anniversary. They sure did a lot more this time around than to just trademark a name, though... They trademarked it in various languages according to serebii, and there's also those various sites leading and linked to pokemon.com..and the tweet.. It could all be nothing but -shrug- here's hoping. People are all going "what about the rest of kalos?" Well, think about it. The anime and movies are preceding the games this time around, so the anime and movies will cover whatever plot a zygarde game would have... To me, that would be lame and take away the "excitement". I doubt they'd think of entirely new plots just for that. If you further think about it.. the anime will reach the league by the time these games release (not get announced) so it would fall into place eventually. While nobody can be sure whether it's gen 7 or something else( assuming they'll be real games), the names don't tell me "kalos" in any way, nor do the color patterns of the logos. It could always be a new gen in that souvenir region mentioned in kalos, and it could be linked to kalos too. Either way, the direct is today, we may be hyped, we may be disappointed. Let's hope for the best and see. I'd be happy just seeing a new pokemon main game.

All I can say is that for such effects, you best really balance things out in general, because the entire Krista effect looks OP as hell to me and I'd imagine only having trouble with anything ever in hard or mania modes. I'm sure you're aware of all that already anyway, but yeah, there always needs to be really good balance when making fields

I hope by new sprites, you mean sprites of costumes and/or sprites for chars that were missing sprites, because the existing sprites you had were already perfectly fine. Anyways, call it what you will, the name is irrelevant, the important thing is for you to lessen the load on yourself by focusing on the immediate events of your game that will follow your Disk 1

I have already played through a small portion of what the game had as a beta tester, and I can tell you that your worries are as usual, groundless and far too exaggerated . If you feel that bad about your mapping, ask for help. I am sure there are people willing to help with mapping or provide advice. The most important thing with such an ambitious project is to never take it all upon yourself. You may think yourself a loner but you're not alone and doing it all alone stresses you out. This inevitably leads to what you've written today sooner or later, so don't be afraid to ask for help. That aside, I wholeheartedly agree with Alilatias' post. I'm sure I speak for all of us followers of your game when I say we'd rather have a completely imperfect version than to see this project discontinued. Did you not say a few posts up that the money and time you've spent on this is something among other things that would keep you from even thinking of dropping it? I believe you are correct in writing that as it'd be a huge shame if you'd let all of that go down the drain, and all of us interested to see this game through will be disappointed as well.
