Truth right there^ But no, it doesn't have to be another tropical island to tie the plotholes of Kalos and ORAS. Both of them are not really close to each other and yet their story is somewhat interconnected. Just give us a different region with a less warm and beachy tropical feel I: (that bright sunny resort-ish hotel screenshot sure doesn't help but hey, it could always just be a single area among something entirely different) Times like these make you miss sinnoh and unova

For those last day speculation enthusiasts before we actually get some footage (hopefully) There's been this floating around http://imgur.com/D3n4AEi complete with npc dialogue about waterfalls flowing backwards which are found in hawaii as well and whatnot That said, purely regarding this Hawaii speculation, I personally would not be too happy about a region based on yet another tropical island.. We've just had ORAS and Kalos looks bright and sunny on its own as well.. I think I'd prefer a more..northern place to base a region off of.. but certainly doesn't seem so from the little screenshot we got provided with

I would have to agree with you entirely up there ^ They should probably make something that doesn't require you to travel to the atlantic ocean to find a squirtle

20th anniversary is so far almost entirely only appealing to genwunners ..we get that yes 20years the gen 1 started and all but ehh, how about not forgetting how far you've gotten in those 20years as well? This thing will likely be a flop unless enough overhyped kids use it or sumt

Well we don't know what will be different from the beta but facts remain, this is a shameful display of a product. Likely they don't know how to include stuff on a phone or what to even include to make it work properly, and what to make people pay money for etc

Well.... sorry, can't get hyped for this thing. I get that it's the first of its kind for pokemon and all but eh. Hope we get improvements in the future

There's gym battles so... by association there should be training, unless your pokemon dont come with levels or anything

Yeah, pretty much, their choice in animals to base starters off of was very poor. We've had a goat just recently a bear hardly fits a fire type (imo) and the water one just seemed as you said, already done for totodile Aye, that's true indeed. While kanto/johto did have the ship ride option, you did go on foot to reach it as well.. they were connected by victory road and the paths leading to it and mount silver.. I agree it'd be lame if we'd just get a magical boat ride to it. Wellp, there's still hope, maybe places connected irl don't have to be the same in the pokemon world and vice versa
