  1. I just met up with Grass. Now might be a good time for you to jump in, especially given your type advantage.
  2. Jory froze up as he heard a rustle in the underbrush below him. He'd been picking his way through the forest's canopy for the better part of an hour. He leapt to the next branch, and seeing light peering through the leaves on his tree, continued forward. His head poked out into a clearing and he watched a Mudkip all but fly into the water near him. He took the rolled up map and orb out of his map and looked down at them. Over the past hour, he'd realized that the map he had was somehow directing him toward a large red dot. Suddenly, it all became clear as an Exeggutor came into view. This Pokemon is trying to hurt that Mudkip! Didn't one of the other humans turn into one of those? The human-turned-Pokemon leapt into action, jumping onto the Exeggutor's head. "Leave her alone!" he shouted, his tail beginning to glow as he used it to slap one of the tree Pokemon's many faces.
  3. If I'm the only person in my dungeon, can I scale down the levels? Everything in Treeshroud is over lvl 30.
  4. Sonny groaned angrily as Alina teleported away. How am I supposed to protect her if she won't stay still? He began to run, quickly moving in deerlike lopes toward the docks.
  5. Sonny turned a deep red at Alina's jab and scratched the back of his head, stammering for a moment before regaining his composure. "I know, I know. But of all the recruits here and all the other guards, you know that there's no one else I'd rather fight beside. And it's not naive of you to resent this fighting. Now that Emerald's gone away, I'm not sure what they even want with us." The scout drew his sword and inspected it, making sure it was properly oiled. The blade was broad and double-edged, clearly the shape of a longsword. He swung it in the air a couple of times and, satisfied with his weapon, stowed it again. "I hope the students are able to hold their own. Many of their partners aren't even fully evolved."
  6. Jory awoke with a splitting headache. The last thing he remembered was suddenly becoming much smaller, seeing a few other teens get transformed into Pokemon. As he shook his head and stood up, the first thing he noticed was how much clearer everything seemed to sound. He could hear things that he had never paid attention to, like the rustling of the branches. He raised his hand to wipe his eyes, hoping to clear his vision a bit more. He paused as his hand approached his face. That's odd. It looks kind of like a paw. He then tried to walk and looked down. His legs were much shorter than he remembered them being. He also didn't remember being covered in soft gray fur. As he turned his head to inspect himself, he noticed a long, brushlike tail. Hmm... From the looks of it, I'm a Minccino. I should try to figure out where I am. His stomach grumbled. And get something to eat, too! The Minccino began to turn about, taking in his surroundings. He seemed to be in the middle of a thickly forested area. I bet I can climb a tree to get my bearings. The intrepid Pokemon ran to the nearest tree and began to scurry up it, beginning his journey.
  7. Sonny nodded. "Sounds like a plan." He turned, paying attention to a new sound. The clatter of hooves could be heard as Rayleigh bounded into the room and, spotting Sonny, quickly moved toward him. As the Sawsbuck came closer, it became evident that there was a sword in a sheath hanging between the Pokemon's antlers. It was nearly a meter and a half in length, and was covered in a brown leather sheath. The crossguard was plain steel and decorated only with a small white gemstone in the center, while the hilt was wrapped in plain brown leather. Its pommel was a simple steel disc with another white gemstone set in it. The scout sighed and took the blade from his partner, slinging the sheath's leather strap across his chest and over his shoulder. He adjusted the sword strap and turned to Alina. "You know, there was a point in time when I really thought we were done with all this.
  8. Sonny's eyes opened wide as Alina relayed Emerald's orders. The only time this happens is when there's a need for more bodies on the front line. Then, the guard burst in and gave everyone the news about the attack. Hostiles? Here? There hasn't been an attack here in years! he thought to himself. Alina reacted quickly, giving everyone orders and keeping her composure. Sonny's lips curled up in a grin for a short period. And that's why she's so amazing... Then, she was back over near the guards. She didn't assign him anything by name, so the scout approached her, a bit hesitant due to the obvious wrath in her eyes. "Alina, what do you need me to do?"
  9. It used to be customary to bid one farewell by repeating whatever it was they said (such as Jews bidding each other Shabbat Shalom on the sabbath instead of one saying that and the other being like, "ok yeah wahtever bye"), so Dru will say it as a courtesy, not realizing the importance.
  10. Mistless Peaks Dru nodded again at Shard's wisdom. "Indeed, true power must be earned. I forgot myself for a moment. Farewell, Shard. The Earth is always watching."
  11. Mistless Peaks Drug' thok let out a sigh. "I should have known it was that order of Templars. However, outside of their order they do not seem to refer to themselves as such. And I am indeed honored that Tectaniteus has chosen me as his champion. I will do my utmost to ensure I do honor to the title of 'Eternal Watcher.'" With that, Dru bowed deeply, humbling himself before Shard and Tectaniteus. "Is there anything else you can teach me, Shard? Any form of magic that may help all of us in our quest against the Gentleman?"
  12. Lux grinned sheepishly at Beverly's response, then nodded to Cedric. "You've got it. Don't worry, Mr. Sterling. We'll get the job done. I have yet to meet a security guard who can move faster than light." He then looked over at Ace and Kenny. "Make sure you get this done correctly. With that pyrokinetic on our side, the tide of many a battle could turn in our favor. But most importantly, be safe. The goal here is not to sacrifice one of our force for a new one; it is to make us stronger. Don't be reckless, and be safe."
  13. Mistless Peaks Dru blinked, surprised. Eternal Watcher...? he thought to himself, thoroughly confused. If he remembered correctly, the Eternal Watchers were some kind of order of Tectaniteus's hand-selected champions. The sorcerer nodded at Shard, then began another line of questioning. "If Tectaniteus wills it, then I shall become one of these 'Eternal Watchers'. However, I'd like to know a little bit more about this order before I go clamoring to join their ranks. While Tectaniteus may see the Truth in all, I am but a mere mortal. I need a bit more information than simply being told what I am."
  14. I like this idea. Let me know if you need any help.
  15. Lux cleared his throat, stepping forward. "Is there anything in particular we need to know about the guests? And what is our cover? I doubt two teenagers will be able to maintain any form of facade of independence long without an adult there to be our 'chaperone,' so to speak."
  16. Mistless Peaks At the mention of Tectaniteus, Dru was visibly shocked. "Tectaniteus? What interest could he possibly have in me? I am but a sorcerer. I'm no champion of the gods," he said quickly, dismissing the thought altogether. It was a projection of his subconscious, just as he'd thought. Such grandeur was beyond his comprehension.

He was shocked at how difficult a castle could be to find. After all, how the heck was something that big proving so elusive?
  18. Mistless Peaks Dru nodded at Shard's advice. "If I had to pick anyone to have sent me this dream, it would be an old friend from Passthrough. I have not seen him in some time, however. Either that, or you are simply a projection of my subconscious. In either case, this vision has been quite eye-opening. Is there anything more you can teach me, wise one?"
  19. Mistless Peaks "Nobody did. I simply assumed. However, since you claimed to be here for a friend, I suppose you were next going to tell me that your friend sent me here." The sorcerer chuckled. "This dream feels quite real, you know. I'm impressed that your friend was able to create a landscape like this. So who is your friend, Shard? If he is half as wise as you then I could learn much from him."
