1. forgive me if i'm wrong, but weren't you the one who went around complaining about RMTs which aren't up to standard, and considering this is in the RMT section, one would assume this is an RMT, not a place where people can post their "team that I made, and I like". " While they do make things prettier, larger sprites could make it a little fiddly to see the team's moves as a whole (particularly since we tend to sequence the pokemon based on their roles)." This makes zero sense.
2. although the presentation and amount of effort put into the RMT is truly amazing, i am somewhat tired of seeing the exact same mono-ice team every other week by a different user.
3. hallo try out sleep talk / hurricane@specs tornadus so you can also hit hurricane. if you dont want to do that use super power > focus blast because under sand fblast won't kill. i'll edit with a longer rate later.
4. hi, i'll put a longer rate later but straight off the bat: I run 176 speed EVs on azumarill to outspeed shit like skarm/scizor/ttar when they're speed creeping (180 speed) Ice punch over Frustration can be used to hit amoonguss and xatu hard also. other stuff: run super power on deoxys-s so you can possibly win the weather war on the first turn against ttar. maybe run 192 HP EVs on politoed (369 HP) and put the rest into SP def / SP atk. 369 HP gives you maximum leftovers recovery which could come in handy. Edit: also put 4 sp def EVs on all your pokemon without the 4 EVs. this is so gene gets +1 atk instead of sp atk so rp gene cant wreck you as much.
5. I am quite aware of that. Which is why I keep ditto alive to fight these threats, and is the reason why ditto is on the team in the first place.
6. mamo is defeated by good prediction around my flying types and ditto. if it's a LO mamo it'll carry super power which i will use to kill it after rocks + LO damage.
7. 0/252/0/0/4/252 is best EV spread for DD outrage dnite, which is why I posted it.
8. Heya C&P: hey clouds c: Yeah Ditto is a really cool Pokemon and can fit the many different roles on the team, the extra phazer has been incredibly useful. Kamina: yeah, chandelure really wrecks this team a new one, but it's been relatively okay considering not many people use it anymore due to shed shell skarm/breloom/amoonguss, but it's definitely still a threat to look out for. Zane Green: Thank you very much buddy c: and yeah I'd definitely recommend ditto on a team! Rotomfan 63: Yeah... I guess I kinda see what you're saying. I had actually been thinking about using an Umbreon named "shopping". Thank you, your insight proved very helpful. Roo: Hehe, your post was very amusing, thank you c:. But anyway, the reason I didn't use a Kyurem or Walrein or something was because of team synergy. Numerous Ice types aren't a good thing for a team due to the bad SR weakness and just general bad typing. I have used a scarf Kyurem on a hail team before and it worked well, but the reason I'm using ditto over another Hail abuser is because of the ability to just throw anything tricky my opponent has right back at them and has proven to be very useful. I hope this clears things up. Kuro : how rude :C Mashew: Thank you very much buddy c:, I'll be sure to post some battle logs into a spoiler on the main post when I save some! Xiphera: Thank you so much :] Ryan C: Hey, reason i'm using Rain Dish > Liquid Ooze is to counter Rain teams that little bit better. Liquid ooze isn't really necessary due to Xatu/Heatran/Gliscor taking on ferro / conk. I may try out a different moveset for abomasnow, but i need ice shard to hit special landorus and garchomp and dual stab hit the crucial SEs against toed, starmie and hit gengar a little harder. kam again: ttar would ruin team synergy, considering the team's synergy is based around Abomasnow. Summer: Hail against non-weather teams usually isn't much of a problem considering both teams will be taking the damage. If the worst comes to the worst I will always find a way to hook up some leech seed recovery to Heatran and Tentacruel, but so far it hasn't been any more difficult dealing with non-weather teams than sand/rain teams. Hucking: :] hehe, I don't think Skarm would fit in with the teams synergy considering I already have two flying types and no spin blocker means they pretty much get free spins which will really irritate me. Ditto isn't that bad against HO sand to be honest, copying a +2 excadrill and spamming EQ is sure to hurt them more than me. Unknown Guy: Hey, reason I'm only running Lava Plume on Heatran is because Stealth Rock and Roar are really essential and I use Protect for toxic stalling / scouting, although that isn't a bad idea, I may use it. Dark Desire : Thank you c: Skwayz : I need blizz for Swords Dance croak, where would I fit knock off in? and I may try out U-turn if chandelure becomes too big of a problem, but I like my recovery as of right now. Glaciem : Yeah, the abomasnow / heatran / tent core is incredibly solid. covers weaknesses really well, I'd recommend it if you ever try hail stall. Slant : Thanks for your input buddy I'll definately try out that dark type!
9. hallo Outrage Dragonite (M) @ Lum Berry Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Outrage - ExtremeSpeed - Fire Punch Aim of the set is to set up as many Dragon Dances as possible before clicking outrage. Simple enough. Pretty standard Dragonite, Fire Punch for Ferro, Scizor, Gene, Forretress etc. ExtremeSpeed is a much better option over Earthquake as it's a +2 priority. Lum Berry and Multiscale allow him to set up at least one boost before clicking Outrage. Trick Room Dragonite (M) @ Dragon Gem / Life Orb Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef | 0 Spd IVs Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Draco Meteor - Fire Blast - ExtremeSpeed - Superpower This Dragonite set works wonderfully on a Trick Room team. The moveset given allows him to hit almost everything extremely hard and is used for taking out defensive threats to other Trick Room users. The set aims to eliminate threats to Trick Room with a variety of attacks which work very effectively. - Ferrothorn / Celebi / Skarmory / Forretress / Jirachi / Other Defensive Steel types -- Fire Blast -- helps with Conkeldurr / Mew / Breloom / Rampardos / Etc - Tyranitar / Blissey / Heatran / Other Specially Defensive Rock / Normal / Dark Types -- SuperPower -- helps with Reuniclus / Slowking / Slowbro / Porygon2 / Mew - Hippowdon / Politoed / Ninetails / Gliscor / Tentacruel / Other annoying Defensive Pokemon -- Dragon Gem boosted Draco Meteor -- helps with -- Conkeldurr / Mew / Breloom / Rampardos / Etc Extremespeed can be used for picking off threats after the five turns have ended. ya
10. Christmas is Coming | | | | | Hello all :] This is a team that I've been using lately, built around the idea of Christmas. This is a Hail Stall team which works fairly well considering it's a stall team in BW2 and well, Hail. Rain teams, Sand teams, good non-weather teams, and really bad non-weather teams. Hello Reborn OU :] Reborn OU is corrupted with beings such as Tyranitar and Politoed, plaguing the server with bad weather for as long as you can remember. If this wasn't enough, Toed and Ttar bring their gangs to their fights. Excadrill and Kingdra are seen everywhere, wrecking, destroying and pillaging the innocent Pokemon of Reborn. For the sake of this thread, we will call them Ebenezer. However, there is some hope. Once a year a specific Pokemon comes out of hibernation. This lone warrior provides hope for the Rebornians, offering resistance against the tyrants. This Pokemon is Abomasnow. Team Building Process SnowFlake (Abomasnow) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Snow Warning EVs: 192 HP / 64 SAtk / 252 SDef Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd) - Ice Shard - Blizzard - Leech Seed - Giga Drain Abomasnow leads off against Politoed and Tyranitar reliably, his very presence dispels sand storms and rainfall immediately. Politoed and Tyranitar shiver and quake as a calm snowfall takes dominance. Abomasnow brings his own weather to the field and it can be used to great effect. Abomasnow's moveset is simple really, Abomasnow doesn't resist much, but he does resist some key types such as water, electric, ice, grass and ground, and the combination of Giga Drain and Blizzard can take out these types. Ice shard isn't used much, just for picking off pokemon on their last bit of health, but it's also used for popping the balloon of excadrill and this is incredibly important, as if excadrills balloon isn't broken Gliscor can't fight him at all. Leech seed is so I can supply a small bit of Health to some other members on my team and if used effectively can supply Heatran, Tent and Ditto some extra health that they really need. EVs are simple, 192 HP EVs provides Abomasnow a magic HP number (369) so it gets the maximum leftovers recovery possible with the highest HP. 252 Special Defence is so he can some in on special Water, Grass and Ice types and fight back. Abomasnow really needs to counter Starmie so this is very important. The rest of the EVs are thrown into Special Attack for maximum Giga Drain recovery. Synergy Warm Fire (Heatran) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Roar - Protect - Lava Plume - Stealth Rock Heatran is Abomasnow's main man. Heatran covers Abomasnow's ass against Flying, Fire, Poison, hell I don't even fucking know, Heatran walls too much shit, while Abomasnow can take the Ground and Water type attacks aimed at Heatran. Heatran is such a beast and it walls some of the biggest threats in the tier. Heatran laughs in the face of Tornadus-T, Sub CM Jirachi, Genesect, Choice Specs Kingdra (Predicting the Meteor), some variants of Stoutland and just so much shit it's unbelievable. Heatran acts as the teams Phazer, Stealth Rocker and primary Specially Defensive wall and is one of the best at all three of them. Protect may seem redundant on a Hail team, however it is really key on this set for a few things; Scouting out Choice users, letting the enemy take toxic and Hi Jump Kick. EVs on Heatran are for maximising Health and Special Bulk. Simple enough right? last 4 EVs are put in Special Attack. Synergy Mistletoe (Xatu) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Magic Bounce EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Reflect - Psychic - Heat Wave - Roost Xatu provides the team a solid Ground Immunity and a quad Fighting resistance. Xatu is here backing our man Abomasnow from his biggest enemy: Hazards. Xatu Bounces all that shit straight back in your opponents faces. This is very important for a Hail Stall team as Abomasnow is gonna be taking a shit tonne from hazard damage. Anyways, on to the moveset. Xatu takes on a lot of rolls on this team, but he also has take on several key offensive threats from Ttar and Toed's Posses. Whenever I see an enemy Toxicroak, I send Xatu in straight away no matter what. On this turn I find out what type of set Toxicroak is, Sub Bulk up or Swords Dance. If It's a Swords Dance variant I will go straight to Tentacruel on the Ice Punch(Or Abomasnow if the rain is up and then out to Tentacruel on the Drain Punch) but if it's the Bulk Up set I'll have to set up a reflect then spam Roost and Psychic, or else it will be a huge problem for the team. Another Pokemon Xatu has to fight is Excadrill. Xatu must set up a screen against Excadrill(it will take around 57% on the +0 adamant Rock Slide), Roost and then either gtfo to Gliscor or pop its balloon with Heat Wave. Xatu's role on the team is vital, and the reflect support has came in handy on many more situations as well. EVs on Xatu are simple: Maximise Health and physical bulk in order to set up a screen more reliably. 4 SP Def because #yolo. Synergy Santa (Gliscor) (F) @ Toxic Orb Trait: Poison Heal EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Substitute - Toxic - Protect Gliscor is just such an amazing Pokemon and is the reason the team isn't bent over by excadrill. Gliscor fights Sand teams so well it's actually funny. Despite Gliscor being at home in Abomasnow's snowy weather, he excels in the sand that Tyranitar provides, being the most efficient at Toxic Stalling in his domain, but don't let this fall you, Gliscor and Abomasnow are like BFFs. Moveset is pretty standard and if you've never seen it then you need to play more, seriously. Gliscor smirks are Excadrill and Terrakion and Earthquake pretty much deals with them, a 2HKO at least. The combination of Substitute and Protect mean Gliscor can survive for a very, very long time, even in Hail. Toxic is a life saver as it can bring down even the sturdiest of walls(fuck you chansey). The EVs are used to maximise Health(lol do I really need to say this) and physical bulk. the 72 speed EVs give him 244 speed. I don't even fucking know what this outspeeds and I've been running 244 speed on my base 100s for a long time, but yeah, probably some important shit. Synergy Elf! (Ditto) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Imposter EVs: 252 HP | 30 Atk 30 Def Hardy Nature - Transform Ditto is so amazing on a stall team, seriously. Ditto practically provides your team a get out of jail free card against sweepers that you've let set up once or twice too many. Ditto turns opponents sweeps against them and this has helped in so many different occasions. A funny thing to do is to let their sweeper get to +6, sack a pokemon and then just kick their shit in. Ditto also gives me information as to what sets my opponents are running, which can be vital to some of my Pokemons' survivability(Ie: random Hidden Power Ice could kill my Gliscor). I've used Ditto against enemy Heatran and Jellicent which is pretty funny, can also use it against Volt/Turners and use their own momentum against them. The only EVs worth using are HP on ditto, none of the rest matter in the slightest since you're just going to be copying your opponent's stats anyway. 30 Atk and 30 Def IVs are so ditto has HP Ice and can still speed tie with other scarfers. Synergy Old Times (Tentacruel) (F) @ Black Sludge Trait: Rain Dish EVs: 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 Spd Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Blizzard - Rapid Spin - Scald - Toxic Spikes The last pokemon on the RMT is Tentacruel, but he's definitely not the least valued 'mon on the team. Tentacruel is Aboma's right hand man and provides me with a "check" to rain teams. Tentacruel is vital on the team as she provides the team with another fighting resist and a way to spin away hazards or simply remove toxic spikes. Tentacruel is very important on the team because, like all stall teams, this one would get wrecked by hazards and continuous switching and Rapid Spin removes this from happening. Toxic spikes are also incredibly vital to the team because without toxic support my team gets its shit kicked in by stuff like Sub CM Keldeo and just in general a great way of whittling my opponents team down. Blizzard is just a great move because it catches so much shit off guard. Dragonite trying to set up? Blizzard brings him down low after rocks damage and then I can just go straight to Heatran on the Outrage. Blizzard also does around 28% to Toxicroak, which is pretty much how I deal with the bulk up sets(I know, it's pathetic). Scald is also pretty much standard on defensive Tentacruel for the chance of a burn. EVs here are used for Health and Defensive bulk, 32 speed EVs hits 244 Speed which is just... good I guess? Synergy Conclusion The team has been pretty fun to play with and has definitely been a pleasant change from Sand and Rain teams. Merry Christmas everyone :] -Shout Outs: AO clan members, I love you. Slant/Skwayz/DD/Kam/Hedron/Hucking/Duster -FruitJuice and Sunshine :] -Fabian - where you go? :[ -anyone else who wants a shout out trol Exportable
11. The point is there's no point to Trick Room if you're only going to have 5 turns of it. Lol? Bronzong explodes and dies, you have 4 turns left. 1-4 of those turns are you setting up Curses, leaving 0-3 turns of "sweep" and no matter what way you look at it, almost every physical wall laughs in Muk's face while it can just set stealth rocks, spike stack or set up a sub You say you're not using Techniloom because it dies too quickly. I made a point of saying no matter what set breloom runs, it can not take a hit reliably. It is considered a glass cannon for a reason. Please actually read this. "ToxicLoom, on the other hand, survives decent attacks and can boost itself defensively, my idea of a tank." No, no it doesn't. FWG cores aren't necessarily good either, and Darmanitan is hardly a "tank that can turn into a mighty cannon" under Trick Room. "Even without Trick Room, my team can do serious damage on their own. So there you have it." I don't think you actually read what I was saying. Standard Rain and standard Sand kick your shit in. Toxic is obviously used for levitating/flying pokemon.
12. hey. I agree with Moony to a certain extent, Special Lando > Muk, except if you use forretress run volt switch > tspikes, because in my opinion the switch out of the predicted chandelure is a lot more worthwhile than a toxic spike and imo physical hippo > spec hippo for excadrill and the such. the team pretty much just gets wrecked by rain, tornadus t and specs kingdra just have fun with you and I'll come back to that later. I really don't understand what you're trying to do with this team, trick room and set-up moves really doesn't have any synergy at all and with bronzong@explosion as your only TR'er you really aren't going to have any advantages with that gimmick either. Specially Defensive Jirachi > Bronzong Jirachi @ Leftovers Trait: Serene Grace EVs: 252 HP / 224 SDef / 32 Spd Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Protect / Stealth Rock - Iron Head - Thunderbolt / Body Slam - Wish Jirachi and Gastrodon (With the right prediction) can wall Tornadus-T and Kingdra/Ludicolo which are the biggest threats to your team right now. Thunder Bolt and Body Slam have been slashed, Body slam for the 60% paralyse chance and Thunderbolt for hitting skarm for a little more damage and catching the toed on the switch in, whatever your preference is. I have also slashed Protect with Stealth Rocks, so you can change hippowdowns moveset; Ice Fang > Stealth Rocks so you can break Excadrill Air Balloon(If carrying) and also counter acrobatics gliscor and garchomp. I find Techniloom the best possible set for Breloom and it will also offer your team a reliable sweeper. Techniloom > BU Breloom Breloom (F) @ Leftovers / Shed Shell Trait: Technician EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Spore - Swords Dance - Bullet Seed - Mach Punch Any way you look at it, Breloom is a glass cannon. Even at +2 Defence a strong fire move can kill it, as well as almost any unresisted special attack(Even Kingdra OHKO's with surf in rain), and in this highly offensive metagame, BU Breloom really isn't viable. Techniloom, on the other hand, can hold its own in this tier being one of the deadliest sweepers with technican boosted Mach Punch and Bullet seed. Leftovers and Shed Shell have been slashed, lefties to negate sand damage or Shed Shell to run away from Chandelure / Gothitelle I don't want to change too much of the team but a better, more reliable scarfer is recommended over Darmanitan (You don't run a spinner so he's gonna die pretty fast). Toxic is in most cases better than Earth Power / Ice Beam on Gastrodon. good bye
13. skill swap unburden, use a gem, then swap back to swift swim, it'll double Deoxys's speed.
14. hey Genesect @ Choice Scarf Trait: Download EVs: 92 Atk / 252 SAtk / 164 Spd Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef) - U-turn - Ice Beam - Thunderbolt - Flamethrower This has a more efficient EV spread. Naive Nature to survive Breloom Mach Punch at 100% hp. If you're adamant on running P2, run T-wave > Toxic so you can para SS/SR/Chlorophyll users and not get swept(excadrill can still get you if Rotom-W doesn't have enough HP). I don't think your Hitmontop is really worth it. Try out breloom, retains priority, a better user of technician and better sweeping capabilities(and your team lacks a dedicated sweeper) Breloom (M) @ Leftovers / Fight Gem / Leftovers Trait: Technician EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Mach Punch - Swords Dance - Bullet Seed - Spore Reliable Breloom :] A few other things: Try running 88 EVs on Ferrothorn in sp def, he really doesn't need them in atk. Try running Chesto Rest Rotom-W, he's really cool and provides more bulk and survivability to combat excadrill / kingdra a lot better. Rotom-W @ Chesto Berry Trait: Levitate EVs: 112 HP / 252 SAtk / 144 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Volt Switch - Hydro Pump - Thunder Wave / Will-O-Wisp - Rest (Can edit the EVs for more bulk and less special attack)Will-O-Wisp is slashed because it's really a matter of preference, you either want their attack halved or their speed divided by 4. good bye
15. Hey Hucking ;] As you already know, this is a really solid team, really original and can still cover a lot of threats, which is really neat. I also really like the use of Ttar and toed, never considered Roar before either. I have a few suggestions: Excadrill: Try Shadow Claw > X-Scissor ? With Shadow Claw you can kill 100% HP Gengar which seems like it can be a big threat to your team if it obtains a free sub on the switch out. You can still kill off the Lati twins as reliably as X-Scissor and practically everything else X-Scissor kills (save for celebi, I don't know how big a threat that is to you considering you have Ttar and Amoonguss) Kingdra: Try Sleep Talk / Signal Beam > Ice Beam ? I have no idea who you sac off to Spore and the kind, but I think Sleep talk will be a better asset to your Kingdra's moveset than Ice beam, because it practically hits nothing that Draco Meteor and Surf don't hit. Signal Beam can be used if Celebi is an issue, which it shouldn't be. Amoonguss: 28 SP atk. Evs This is so you can still break Keldeo's substitutes when he has 2 Calm Minds under his belt, and Keldeo looks like it can be a big threat behind a sub. I don't know how you want to alter the EVs, maybe take them out of SP Defence? Btw I love the use of encore on politoed so you can get a free switch into anything you like. Love the team c:, have a nice day.
16. hey replace beartic with either ludicolo or kingdra, both of them outclass beartic in every possible aspect. Kingdra (F) @ Choice Specs Trait: Swift Swim EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Surf - Draco Meteor - Dragon Pulse - Ice Beam / Sleep Talk Ludicolo (M) @ Life Orb / Expert Belt Trait: Swift Swim EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Surf - Ice Beam - Giga Drain - Rain Dance / Focus Blast Also disregard Ryan C's comment about getting rid of U-turn on Scizor. Scizor was the king of BW1 OU for a reason, and U-Turn is one of its best moves. Although I would recomment slashing Quick Attack with Pursuit because in some situations it can be better. EVs are really weird just use 248 HP 252 Atk 8 spe. Replace Weather Ball on Raiku with Volt Switch to get a good Volt/Turn core with Scizor (or replace with thundurus-T) One last thing; Stone Edge/Reversal > Toxic on duggy and make Volt-Turn Raiku lead. Good bye
17. Scarf Chomp needs outrage and dragon claw, sometimes you don't want your only scarf user to be trapped into Outrage, because he can easily be rk'd by anything with an ice beam and passable bulk. Toed needs either encore and p-song to be able to gain momentum or force a switch. Haze is what you already have.
18. Hey slant I have nothing but praise for this team, it's seriously an amazing team to use and possibly the best team I've ever had the pleasure to use. For a long time this team was my go to team too, getting pretty high peaks without too much thought needed, I think I hit #2 at one point, most of the time around #4-6, I practically won every tour I was apart of using this team. Every time I used this team I knew that I was pretty much guaranteed a streak of wins unless getting the absolute shit haxxed out of me, so I just want to say thanks to slant for sharing this team, it truly is amazing. A few nitpicks is all I can really think of: Skarmory: 24-30 Speed EVs > 8 Speed EVs This is just to outspeed other Variants of Skarmory that run a few more speed EVs, or shit things that like to beat skarms speed. Just for you to get the Whirlwind off before them, it can really help. Celebi: Give him a few more speed EVs so he can outspeed the sub/toxic gliscor for certain. One suggestion that I'm hesitant to make is Hippowdon > Ttar. I know you love that thing but Hippowdon can really help your duggy weakness. Can also lift a moveslot from Heatran( Stealth Rock) so he can run Toxic. Really have nothing more to say, amazing team, Stoutland was really cool but it was the better thing to run Celebi :[
19. Hey Kam :] back with a new rate. (OLD SUGGESTION:) ScarfChomp > Donphan Garchomp (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Sand Veil EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Outrage - Dragon Claw - Earthquake - Aqua Tail / Stone Edge / Brick Break Donphan really isn't doing anything for your team and you really need this scarf user in case you ever find yourself out of Rain. We've spoken on the server about this so I won't go too far into this. Put Stealth Rock > Protect on Jirachi Since I've proposed removing Donphan, that would leave you without Stealth Rocks on your team, which is the best move in the entire game. Protect on Jirachi is nice, but under the right circumstances you can usually Iron Head Flinch and get the wish off anyway. Get rid of Focus Blast and U-turn on Tornadus-T Specs Tornadus-T doesn't have need any other moves 90% of the time, and Sleep Talk + Hurricane is a lot more reliable for sleep fodder against Breloom so you can still throw Hurricanes while sleeping :] Run Encore / Perish song > Toxic / Protect / Haze (I believe only one replacement is needed) on Politoed Encore or Perish Song can be used a lot more effectively on Toed than your current moves, for obvious reasons: Perish Song adds some form of phazing which is really needed on Toed, encore can be used otherwise to gain offensive momentum against their set-up users with Thundurus-T. That's all for now :]
20. Heya, nice team. I have a few suggestions; Politoed: Encore > Ice Beam The reasoning behind this is that Toed is coming in as a defensive pivot, usually against things that want to set up. A lot of people using dragons (which ice beam is used to counter) like to dragon-dance on the perish song/protect so they can get a free hit the following turn, so why not remove the possibility of this happening by hitting it with an encore, switch out, and gain momentum as their pokemon are trapped within a set-up move? Chandelure: Hidden Power [ice] > Curse I really don't see the point of Curse on this guy, to me it appears to be a wasted moveslot as you already have Trick to cripple certain walls. Sure, you may want to hit Curse on a last ditch effort at around 10% HP against their last pokemon, but the opportunities for Curse seem very situational. Hidden Power [ice], on the other hand allows you to take out dragons that have been encored by Toed, or walls such as Gliscor which might be a problem for Terrakion's sweep. I would also like to suggest Rain Dance > Substitute on Ludicolo. Having ran a set with Rain Dance, I can personally tell you that it can really save your life in certain situations. Rain Dance will give you an extra 5 turns of Rain which could be vital to finish a sweep late game, or to support Kingdra by sacking Ludi with a Rain Dance. It works wonders against opposing Ttar and Ninetails, catching them both off with a switch and putting your opponent in an awkward position. EDIT: turn the nature to TIMID on Ludicolo so he can outspeed scarf genesect (Seconding Skwayz's suggestion) I am personally a huge fan of SubSalac Terrakion. However, I have read your reasoning against using it, but I really think it suits the team a bit more than the double dance set and would definitely suggest a second try with this beast. I also want to second Skwayz suggestion of running Super Power > Thunderbolt on Deoxys-S for opposing Tyranitar leads which may be slightly more important to take out than, say, an extra spike. One last suggestion: Turn Kingdra into a specs set with the moves Surf/Draco Meteor/Dragon Pulse/ Sleep Talk or Ice Beam. This way you can switch into a spore and still fire off powerful moves, and imo Specs > LO (Another idea could be to swap his item for Chesto Berry and turn Outrage to Rest so you can pull off a sneaky late-game sweep) Not asking you to implement all the changes, but just things you can think about. Edit: I love the formatting for this RMT by the way.
21. Hey kam :] Replace donphan with scarfchomp eq outrage dragonclaw stone edge/ aqua tail/ brick break or you could use rp lando, but scarfchomp was better in the testing :] and neo, i just want to take some time to thank you for reminding us the rules. idk where we'd be without you. however, you should really try to actually comment on the team, you're getting dangerously off-topic and last i checked you weren't a real mod :[
