  1. ...No mechanics were changed, lol. Just the availability. Legendaries will be available post-game. Tentacruel has yet to be available but has been put off until late game because it was a high-tier competitive threat last gen (which was when distribution was initially planned)
  2. tbh i want it DONE so we can have it good to go when we need it. also gives us time to fix bugs/correct documentation aaaaand do that thing with them that's going to make everyone-who's-no-on-the-dev-team's lives a lot easier.
  3. To clarify on the issue about it lacking her darker side, yeah, it's not her usual coy disposition. But I imagine she really lights up, no pun intended, when it comes to battles. I feel like destroying incoming challengers is one of the few things that could reliably get her to smile. But the feedback is noted for future things.
  4. ...No big deal. Since we put Cain up for wallpapering, he's been a little lonely, don't you think? Let's get him some company-- Charlotte's joining him! It's totally not because I unofficially ship these two... And if you had a rough time with her gym battle, do try not to like, flashback trauma-style or anything. She's been nerfed. I promise. As before, the above image will take you to the wallpaper page on the main site-- or just use this link and scroll down for the firebug here. Again, we have all common resolutions + a mobile wallpaper for your enjoyment! Shout out to apieceoftofu for the art; she's done a great job!
  5. Yeah, the whole game was planned out as of E3 and all of the field have been planned as of E13. I don't want to overload the players by adding all of them at once though, and I don't want to make the code so unstable by cramming so much in there without it being tested. I ain't just makin' stuff up on a whim here.
  6. It's occurred to me that basically everything I said about the status categories in that other thread, while generally, true, is backwards for this episode. For instance, mapping was somewhat quick (+50% in one night???) whereas eventing was much slower because, due to how this dungeon is said up I'm actually making four variants of each room for different functionality. This means that on the mapping aspect, once I was what appeared to be a quarter done, I just had to clone everything three times. Boom boom boom. Unfortunately, it also means I had to do all the eventing four times over. Normally eventing should be the quicker one. And then, although sidequests usually take me forever, that's gonna go 0-100 in one day for this episode... cuz there's really only two I need to do. All of the others were done in advance back in E13. ...But man. E16 side quests. That's gonna be a grind.
  7. Tbh as much as I enjoy teasing people, creating fake content is kind of mean. Like... at least with the E12 April Fools' stuff, most of that was obviously just a joke, but if I did that with this, it would defeat the point of people guessing. I'm not going to set people up for disappointment like that. But I suppose I can post less polished stuff here from time to time. Keep in mind such scraps may be likely to change before release. http://prntscr.com/6wlw00 This was basically confirmed anyway.
  8. Kuro definitely has better uses of xyr time. And xe doesn't do graphics/mapping. The others all have other things that I'm waiting on, too, such as the aforementioned documentation.
  9. Well, it hasn't been gotten around to yet, yes. It's the documentation. It's busy-work, so I put it off onto the others. That goes for both the previous updates, and the new updates. Screenshots are great, but the problem with that, or even the lines, is that I do the story section last (by relative necessity). So, currently there's nothing but empty maps to screen-shot... ...Although, I guess that's not the worst thing.
  10. You guys make a good point. I haven't really given you much else to go off of... mainly because I don't know that there's always a whole lot to say, especially when I end up working on the same thing for two weeks and then not being able to finish it entirely for various reasons. I'll start thinking on how to give more context to the numerical increases. @ Azery, I mean, you're not entirely wrong, but...

  12. DR game >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> anime js if you can play it, play it instead of watching the show, because since it's a murder mystery watching the show spoils literally everything also the anime is super rushed. :c
  13. literally bought a vita for the sole purpose of playing sdr2 #completely 120% worth
  14. Can't say I disagree, but it is thematically appropriate for the region. Plus, the disgusting water has been a theme literally since the start of the game. Fortunately, this will be the last poison one.

      :C sorry, only breeding.

  16. Sorry, that was an oversight. Those attacks become Water/Poison type (shocker)
  17. This is basically my life in two sentences. the same about not being spoiled really goes for the ZE games too though. #DR3Confirmed #OperationBluebird
  18. It's that time again. As one user pointed out, since E15's fields have been implemented, I can finally start announcing some of them. But one at a time. Small bites. Chew before you swallow. Or better yet with this field, try not to swallow anything at all, because it'll kill you from the inside-out. I've basically already confirmed this one, so we may as well start with it, hm? The Murkwater Surface is a hybrid between the Water Surface and some of the other poison fields. Created by using Sludge Wave on the existing water fields, Murkwater makes a pretty miserable time for all but the select few Pokemon who benefit from both sides of it. But, perhaps it could be useful against a certain trainer, if at some cost. E15 is chugging along, but we're obviously not there yet. Don't worry though, I'll do my best to cut through the rest of it... so to speak.
  19. I mark stuff done when it's done. Sometimes it takes a while before I can call that section of the task finished. Sometimes it doesn't. So it'll happen both ways. It's not for lack of updates to the thread or project though.
  20. Music doesn't change my mood. I suppose I play music to suit my existing mood, which like, duh? If a playlist isn't consistent with my mood it just gets annoying to me and I turn it off or change it. I also listen to music pretty constantly when I'm working (and god I end up starved for playlists) but I don't pay attention to it. I'll notice silence cuz it's boring, and if a really good song is playing, it'll catch my attention, otherwise it's just like background noise. The singular exception, when music does influence my mood, is a certain album I have. It tends to lift me out depression fairly reliably.
