I got the Avian Jangma-o and it's not accepting that as the quest mon. you need to find an aevian budew. it's a bit rare, so you may have to run around a bit in the sand, but it's there. the Aevian Jangmo-o was only just added in the update, and this part of the PictoZumi quest was available beforehand, so... Just run around for a bit, and you can find it.
