"Bring three that match the Forces of Nature" in Tyluric Temple

In Tyluric Temple after you get magma drift there is this Garufan script that says: "Bring three that match the Forces od Nature".

I assume I'm supposed to bring 3 pokemons with the same typing as Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus, But do they need to have both types matching? (i.e. Rookidee, Emolga and Gligar respectively) Or just one type needs to match? (i.e. Rookidee, Pikachu and Diglet). In case of the second situation, do they need to be sigle types? Because I tryed bringing a Talonflame for flying, Alolan Raichu for electric and Nidoking for ground and as I expected it didn't work.

Yes, you're supposed to bring dual-type mons that have the same exact typings as the three genies. The combination you mentioned should work out just fine.

Where would one be able to find a Rookidee anyway? I know there's one you can get via mystery egg but that moment has been long past.
