But in both cases when I tried duplicating it I got different moves that resulted in defeat. For intense Metagross always goes for Psychic Fangs over Meteor Mash against Toxicitry, which then faints. Normal has had a few different ways it varied, but consistently did. I just don't see how Cain's team, which is supposed to win here. Its such a garbage fight. Youre fighting against RNG trying to find the right series of moves to be able to do anything Am I using pokemon in the right sequence? Is this a good strategy thats just getting ruined by bad RNG? Who knows, better try the exact same thing 30 times in a row to be sure. It's not fun, its not interesting, its not a puzzle, its a wall you have to beat your face into until it works. Using an NPCs team that you have no control over, no familiarity with, and no ability to edit in a fight that requires a precise set of moves with the right RNG just sucks and is a terrible idea.
