Horyzon Posted July 30, 2021 Share Posted July 30, 2021 (edited) Currently I am at Saki's gym and for whatever reason her M-Aggron only takes 50-60% damage after taking a Crit Hydro Pump in Rain from my Modest Sniper Kingdra. Yes I know that Wonder Room is active, so I calculated the damage by changing the base Sp.Def Stat to 180 as well and even then according to Pokemon Showdown's Calculator it should be: Lvl 85 252+ SpA Sniper Kingdra Hydro Pump vs. Lvl 88 252 HP / 252+ SpD Aggron in Rain on a critical hit: 213-252 (70.2 - 83.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Edit: I remembered the damage wrongly, I was in fact doing around 70%+. Somehow her Aggron evolves without a Mega Stone and consumes a synthetic seed in that fight. But that doesn't matter, because crit bypasses defense boosts.
