  1. Afaik the crest only boosts its attack. And yeah my Spiritomb didn't have the best of speed IVs, but I definitely didn't expect his Spiritomb to have fully invested speed EVs with how strong and bulky it was, until I realized that it has 252 EVs in every stat.
  2. It's also really annoying to me that the trainer don't abide to standard rules anymore. Saki with 2 Mega Evolutions and ON TOP of that her M-Aggron was even holding a seed. Then the maxed out EVs in every single stat makes absolutely no sense at all. I tried to beat Geara's Spiritomb with my Spiritomb, expecting mine to outspeed with 252 Speed EVs and Jolly nature, but nope his was still faster wtf. Fights feel more like memorizing what the opponent will use and based on that experience predict and counter the move and keep restarting until I've scripted the whole fight.
  3. What I refer to as the cutscene screen mode is when the black bars appear at the top and the bottom. After certain events they don't disappear for me and stay there permanently. For example after the Espurr and Gastly event, I couldn't find a way to get rid of them, so I resetted to an old save file. Does anyone know a fix? Edit: So I managed to make it disappear again by going into Saki's gym, weird
  4. She is right though. Somehow her Aggron evolves without a Mega Stone and consumes a synthetic seed in that fight. But that doesn't matter, because crit bypasses defense boosts.
  5. Actually nevermind my eyes just deceived me. I was doing around 70%+, I just remembered wrongly.
  6. Currently I am at Saki's gym and for whatever reason her M-Aggron only takes 50-60% damage after taking a Crit Hydro Pump in Rain from my Modest Sniper Kingdra. Yes I know that Wonder Room is active, so I calculated the damage by changing the base Sp.Def Stat to 180 as well and even then according to Pokemon Showdown's Calculator it should be: Lvl 85 252+ SpA Sniper Kingdra Hydro Pump vs. Lvl 88 252 HP / 252+ SpD Aggron in Rain on a critical hit: 213-252 (70.2 - 83.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Edit: I remembered the damage wrongly, I was in fact doing around 70%+. Sorry on my part.
  7. That fight also drove me nuts, but the way I managed to beat her on intense mode was like this: 1. Lead with Espeon and Yawn (reset if you lose speed tie) 2. Sacrifice Exeggutor 3. HJK 3 times with Medicham (reset if wake up early or miss) 4. Paralyze with Alakazam 5. Finish Reshiram off with the remaining mons by purely attacking
  8. I cheesed the Puppet Master fight with Flash lmao.
  9. What really? I play on intense difficulty. The lvl85 Zangoose always oh-ko'd her Mamoswine on my side. Alternatively you could try to bait his ice shard by leading with Beautifly and switching to Dubwool.
  10. Yeah it is. The way I beat her and Cera was by leading with Zangoose and Florges. Turn 1 one shot Mamoswine with CC and using Protect on Florges. Then focus on defeating Angie's mons (right side) first. Sleep powdered Rotom with Butterfree on Angie's 3rd and last mon, then swept the rest with Dubwool.
