If I were an Elite 4 Member, then I would probably specialize in dark-types. This is my choice because of the Greninja that I don't feel like abandoning. My other choice would probably be water-types, but Greninja falls into that category, too.

I would definitely be a Steel type trainer. I would use Aeglislash as Ace and furthermore I would use Magnezone, (Mega) Metagross, Scizor, Excadrill and Ferrothorn. I would prefer to battle on the Fairy Tale Field (the one from Titania's gym).

I would want to go nuts on Psychic Terrain, with Meowstic (male), Sigilyph, Espeon, Beheeyem, Gardevoir and Malamar.

-Prankster dual screens Meowstic to help buy a turn or two

-Cosmic Power Sigilyph, replacing Psycho Shift with Miracle Eye

-Calm Mind Espeon (maybe with Baton Pass as a panic button)

-Telepathy Nasty Plot Beheeyem

-Telepathy Gardevoir abusing the power boosts on Moonblast and Magical Leaf

-Malamar to help deal with Ghost and Dark types

 

Psychic Terrain setup has potential.

If I were an elite 4 member, I would just use my favourite pokemons. This basically means "let's go psychic types"

My ace is Silvally. And I would play different types of him. My strat would be to lead with him and parting shot a bit like Guzma does with his Golisopod in the games. I love the others of the team since I was a kid, especially Latias and Metagross who are my favourite pokemons besides Silvally. I would also change terrain according to his type.

Yeah I pretty much love my Silvally, since I've used him in vgc2017

 

I could also play steels with Aegislash, Ferrothorn, Scizor, but I would NEVER give up on Latias. If I could keep my Latias, then steel is the way.

 

And I would play on Murkwater Surface because I love stalling
