I really don't feel like re-training a trapinch to flygon just to beat noel who is prob the last battle im gunna have until im done with ep 9... sorry, that sounded rude... Umm you can feed it a few friendship berries but those are expensive, you can take it to the salon and it'll raise it's happiness a bit, and you can walk around with it a lot to increase it's happiness. Honestly all you can do is just run around a lot and use the salon a bit if you have the money. Link to post Share on other sites

Meowths can be found at night in the grass next to the building in Opal Ward (where we got our starter). I haven't ran into money problems yet thanks to it. And if you have a pokemon with Pickup ability (Pachirisu, Teddiursa), you can keep them in your party to see if you can get items to sell once a battle is over. While money grinding, it can also give Budew some happiness points since you will be running around. Link to post Share on other sites
