Episode VIII here. I don't really watch shofu on youtube but his first episode popped up on my youtube home page and I watched it out of curiosity. It was love at first sight, I enjoyed the idea of a dark atmosphere in a pokemon game and, in particular, the npcs' dialogues in the beginning of the game really impressed me, so I stopped the video and came to this website (well, it was poke-place at the time but whatever). I'm still thankful for that day.

I'm afraid no one except Ame knows exactly how the whole "true ending" stuff will play out, so some choices might not be as relevant as we think, while other accomplishments that we considered secondary could be crucial.

I will make it short and say it was an easy fight for me too, even if the first time I got swept by her Archeops because I had nothing to outspeed him and everyone got oneshotted. Point is, on the second try she pulled a weird switch from Togekiss to her Archeops himself on a Rotom-Cut's Discharge and got destroyed; I've also read about something similar with her Talonflame in this thread and external sources. Maybe her switch-frenzy should be limited to make the fight at least a bit harder?

Of course I can't be perfectly sure about this, but I think we should look at the "perfect" ending as something that expands the regular one through a couple extra scenes or something, I don't think it's likely that it will be a completely different ending to the story. This way, you can get the regular ending on the first run without being disappointed and at the same time be motivated to play the game again for the extra scenes you've missed (and the alternate dialogues here and there that you have missed). Anyways, this is just conjecture, only Ame knows what the perfect ending will be like.

That's actually the good part about decisions. They help you feel integrated into the game by making you think about each choice's consequences so you're not just pressing a button. It's good to be pressured, it shows you care and you're involved in the story, that's what I'm trying to say. I agree about the ice cream part though, that would be annoying.

Well, there are plenty of funny details in the game that "contrast" with the dark atmosphere, such as every Terra dialogue ever, Avril Lavigne being in Team Meteor, a ton of League of Legends references and so on, but no one seems to be bothered by them. Also, you're trying to put these comic reliefs in the context of the actual plot/character development even when they're not meant to. I mean, if Saphira modeling for a magazine was an element of characterization, then there are apparently people in Reborn City who play LoL all day while their home is getting destroyed. How's that for "out of place"?

It was a nice easter egg, imo there was no need to remove it but oh well. Also, how did people take that seriously? It's obvious it was just a joke for the sake of it and nothing more, chill.

Does anyone have a clue about finding Pumpkaboo? I mean, I would guess it's in the Beryl Graveyard, since you know pumpkins everywhere, but it cannot seem to be found in the grass and talking to vegetables doesn't do any good either. I've also tried changing the weather to nightime and windy night. I can't seem to get the thunderstorm night anytime soon or I would have tried that as well.

Ok, I have just finished Episode 9 starting from the beginning of the game, and the result is that nothing gamebreaking was found during main plot events as for the current 9.5 release. So the main goal is reached, I guess, and only the minor glitches and errors that are listed in this thread should be fixed. All of this is based on my personal experience of course, other people might still encounter issues

Actually, I found a Skorupi in the Railnet before I caught the Drapion. Didn't know it was in the Wasteland too. As for the 4th sticker, see post above.

I confirm what you said about the building. Walking out of the top floor and no possibility to move around at all.

I almost reached the end of the Episode 8 part and no issues occured up until now. Also, some random little things to fix (mostly in Rhodocrine).

Skorupi is found in the Underground railnet, where the Aron and the 4th sticker guy are, not in the Wasteland. Also, you can find Drapion as well

It's a regular "The script is taking too long to load, the game will restart"; not much of a problem since when you restart the game it works just fine and the autosave does its job. I report this because it also happened in the first playthrough I made (I didn't have an account yet) Edit: also, it never happened again with other trainers, that's why I find it rather strange
