Okay so first things first, I saw TheKingNappy was doing another penta-op play through of this game on YouTube and just after watching the first episode I came here to find it myself. I have already downloaded and started Pokemon Insurgence which I'm still getting used to playing on my laptop. I am so used to having a Game Boy to play Pokemon games on that emulators are still new for me. I still love the official games that Game Freak puts out, even if they are ridiculously hand-hold-y and lead you by the nose everywhere. I'm 35 years old I know how to catch a Pokemon, how to use features, and most of all I like to wander without being blocked every time I don't follow the path. Also love Shinies, I finally completed a National Dex for the first time in 20 years with XYORAS although I did complete the original Red and Blue Pokedex first because I was 15 when it came out it was too damn easy to do, I totally abused the Missingo glitch like everyone did back then. Getting the Shiny Charm for the first time in sixth gen was amazing. I'm glad to see that this game includes the seventh gen Alolan Pokemon too, I look forward to seeing what kind of Shinies I can get with them (and not have to SOS forever). Anyway, I signed up for the forum because I have a feeling that 17 episodes of this game is just the beginning and I don't want to miss out when the rest (if any) of the episodes come out. I'll be wandering around the forums here seeing what's there and probably fill out my profile some day as well. Good luck with the challenge, as it's pretty rough even without nuzlockeing it. as for episodes, E17 currently has 16/18 gyms, and there will probably be 19 episodes in total. wcv Posted June 28, 2018 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Welcome. Best tip for playing the game is be patient and don't rush. The difficulty is higher than a normal Pokemon game, but so long as you remember that Ame is tricksy (and she hides items everywhere) you really shouldn't find the challenge insurmountable. Giratina Posted June 28, 2018 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Greetings fellow Pokénerd! If you like wandering around and finding random stuff, you're probably going to like this game. There's a whole lot of random little sidequests and ventures you can do, and you probably won't find all of them on your first playthrough. Also, keep in mind: this game is no joke. You're probably going to wipe your first time against a Gym Leader. That's okay too. Save beforehand, and use it as intel to develop a strategy. Good luck and have fun!
