Shedinja vs Breloom

thought process:

Oh, he has a Breloom and the only way to touch me is to use Rock Tomb!

What do I do...

OH YES!

GO TO TOGEKISS!!!

Edit: In order not to double post, I'll post the Monotype replay here. It's been a while since I played this tier, and it never stops being fun.

New remodelled team, with nice sweeping capabilities. Notice how he realizes, even if late, that he cannot break the sweep. GROUND UBER ALLES.

My first Mix and Megas match :

Also, what are your thoughts on a Sablenite holding Reuniclus (either its Trick Room set or its CM Recover set) ? Its base defensive stats are 110/125/135 after Mega evolving, which is quite scary. Also its base Speed drops down to 0 (or 1) so it's really great as a Trick Room user. And with Magic Bounce, only a few things will be able to stop it from getting up a CM or a TR.

I feel like it will run into problems against blissey, which seems to be everywhere. Focus blast and psyshock don't do enough unless you've really warn it down over the course of the game and go for a late game sweep.

Well you could potentially build a TR team and have something to take care of Blissey. I agree with you on the late game sweep thing though

Reuniclus doesn't have enough speed to hold Sablenite. If a pokemon's stat drops to 0 or below it can't hold that mega stone.

You can try Cameruptite on Reuniclus and see how it works. It still gets an acceptable bulk boost and drops its speed to base 10 + its most usable moves are affected by Sheer Force except Psyshock

Edit: With a quick teambuilding you can see how strong Reuniclus is :P

Wow going for hone claws twice was a big mistake. If you stayed in the first time obviously your staying the second time. He really should stone edge there.

I agree, but I knew Masquerian was useless if it got forced off the field. I played my chance at misses and it worked. He decided to waste his time on hone claws while masquerian became a god.

Double post because

Jokes aside, I am messing around with TR in RU, and I wanted to share some results.

When I still used screens on Bronzong and Specs on Clawitzer.

What's up with all the Gallade being one-shot before they can get a move in.

Scarf Ditto doesn't work that well under Trick Room, kid.

I was originally wondering why you'd use audino over camerupt on a trick room team, but healing wish has done a lot of work in all these replays.

Indeed. The only non-mega Pokemon capable of using effectively the TR-HW combo in RU, with the bulk to back it up, is Musharna. But I already have two TR setters weak to Knock Off, so I went with Mega Audino because... Well, because it is a mega fairy, meaning it takes virtually no damage from that move. And it's not like I can replace one of the other two either: no RU Pokemon other than Cofagrigus has TR-Memento (unless you wanna use friggin' MISDREAVUS), and the only Pokemon thay has TR-Explosion and resists Knock Off is CARBINK, so yeah...

Actualy Uxie has TR+Memento combo too, but is a bit fast to take advantage of that :/

Also from lower tiers Lampent, Dusclops and Dusknoir can use this combo. The 1st one is patheticaly frail even with Eviolite, the last is by a small amount a weaker Cofagrigus and the 2nd has a better bulk with Eviolite, a few more offensive options but worse offensive stats.

In another note I want to ask why Double Hit on Ambipom and how well the team deals with the popular M-Steelix in the tier?
