After months of lurking in the shadows, winter has come to reborn... Hi.

Hello good folks of reborn!

Well, first look at that wolf! Yeah, that one. Then click in the name above it, if you'd like. The text that will appear under the "About me" sentence is, quite predictably, a small summary about myself, which for the sake of not being repetitive, I won't place here. Instead I would like to use this topic to say what is not present on said summary.

I've been checking the forums on an almost daily basis since January I guess, because that's when I finished playing Pokemon Reborn for the first time, which by the way, was recommended to me by a friend. Needless to say, that when I finished this game I was amazed. After I beat Ciel and the message stating the conclusion of Ep. 15 appeared, I felt anxious and eager. Then I thought "Well let's keep track of it on the forums". However, I am not a very sociable person and thus, my lurking routine started. After months reading old topics and following the updates on the progress of Ep. 16, I came to understand that the wait wouldn't be short. Eventually Rejuvenation appeared, and with it, a pleasant surprise. The game that I thought would just be Reborn 2: The Mission was actually it's own thing, and was very good at being it's own thing. I had one more thing to look forward to. After a shorter wait, Rejuvenation's version 8 is out, but surprise: for a while, it will only be available to forum members. Upon discovering this, I said to myself: "I can wait a little longer. I don't have anything to say or to contribute, so I don't think I should register just to download a game. That's disrespectful." I didn't know how long it would be until I could download V8, but I was relaxed. Then I figured something important. There was something I could, and should've said sooner to Amethyst, Jan, and their respective development teams: Thanks for your time and effort. Those words may sound cheesy at first, but not when you stop to see things more seriously. These people spend their free time, and sometimes even time they don't have, working on their games. I read somewhere here that Amethyst had problems with her hands but kept working on Reborn, only slowing down when it was too critical to continue. I guess they enjoy the creative process, otherwise these games wouldn't exist but probably there are other things they enjoy doing, other ways to spend their time but a good share of it is spent in their games, regardless. And what they gain from all of this? Maybe many things but money isn't one of them. I enjoy their intelectual property for free, something that is created at the expense of their time, so I won't allow a personality trait of mine to prevent me from doing the decent, polite thing to do. So as my introduction on the Reborn Forums, I leave a humble but heartfelt thank you to Amethyst, Jan and their teams, for all the fun hours you graced me with. You guys are very much appreciated. I'm not one for words, but I look forward to participate in any discussions, as long as I feel comfortable with the subjects. Thanks for the attention of whoever read this. Peace B)

Hi there Gh0stStark! Welcome to Reborn!

I'm glad you've decided to stop lurking. If your intro post is anything to go by, you're going to be a great contribution to the community! It is always nice to see people putting a lot of effort it.

It is also nice to see people appreciating how much time Ame and Jan have put into their games, and not just pestering about release dates. You seem like a really decent and nice person, so good on you :D

If you could give the Community Rules to the left a read, that'd be fantastic!

Hope to see you around!

Never too late to stop lurking! I mean, true, we're a bit of an odd bunch, but shhh, that's what makes us so charming. hah

From what I see on your profile, you've got a good taste in 'mons and in music. Power Metal's got to be one of my favourite genres (Death Metal tho) so I'm just gonna assume you're cool.

Hope you'll enjoy your stay here. Though they say it's permanent, so on a second thought, maybe I should wish you good luck.

Thanks for the kind words, although luck is merely an illusory essentialization of statistics, and is not inherently good or bad in any way. lol sorry couldn't resist
