Repeating what I said at the status:

They could make a burrowing owl and destroy Rowlet, as Hoehe mentioned.

Grass/Flying -> Grass -> Grass/Ground

I prefer Grass/Flying, to be honest. It cancels out the Water/Fighting part and makes the pokemon interesting. Definitely better than Grass/Ground.

Also, a Fire/Ground type certainly cancels the SR weakness which makes Litten's popularity skyrocket.

I'm just gonna hold onto my hopes until the end and believe these are fake until serebii posts it to be real (or the actual websites officially). Well, not fake, but rather, that they are not about the starters final evo typing... because ugh, my disappointment if it's fireground and waterfight (or firefight and waterground)

Why do you have a problem with Water/Fighting? We only have Keldeo and Poliwrath with this typing, and one of them hardly has any gimmick to be used in the higher tiers. Keldeo is a good pokemon that would be devastating if it had an ability that's not useless, and is a special attacker that has the potential to hit both spectrums. A purely physical Water/Fighting is what I wanted from this generation.

I also don't understand the hate on Fire/Ground. Sure, a slow camel with a mega evolution didn't convince you of the type, but the argument on the X4 weakness is not so well-based. Gliscor, Garchomp, Ferrothorn, Magnezone, Celebi, Tyranitar, Swampert, and Volcarona have X4 weaknesses and are some of the best pokemon to use in competitive. Without taking abilities, stats, and moves into consideration, I believe the argument on typings is void. Not to mention it's a huge offensive power without factoring in non-STAB moves.

Let's all agree we love the Grass/Flying owl and hope it stays that way. If it turns into a Grass/Ground type, I don't think many people will want to buy this gen, me included. But if it does stay Grass/Flying, I'm going to have so much fun with it. OWLRIGHT!!!

I'm not concluding these leaks. It could be possible that the one who added the type icons didn't upload the rest because it ain't necessary.

It might be a misunderstanding like these PLACEHOLDERS could possibly be the NEW EEVEELUTIONS or something.

The hate is not on the typings themselves ( as far as I'm concerned anyway)

MY hate and disappointment comes from the fact that I hoped to see fire/dark or fire/poison (or even fire/ghost) . I don't really care about the water thing, but since I have an affinity to the kitty and owl, I'd be disappointed if I see the kitty turn into fire/ground or -shudder- firefight And you're right...the only fire ground we have atm doesn't convince me that I'll see a cool design for the cat witht hat typing. I also don't want a grass/ground owlie. I'm fine with grass/flying. Beats grass/fighting

But yeah, overall, I'm not treating these leaks as set in stone. They can be anything as already stated, and I'm sure serebii would mention them at least, like he did with the trademarks, if it was really -that- plausible that they refer to the final typings
