Tomas Elliot Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Only reason why it's that low is because otherwise it would OHKO anything you threw at it, especially since it's probably the fastest Pokemon at this point. I'll consider it, though. May I give you a tip, Jan? I am facing the exact same problem with the final Pokemon of a gym of mine, which is just too strong. Basically, I have calculated that anything obtainable up to that point cannot beat the guy, like, no chance in hell, absolutely no way, it is not gonna happen. My solution? Give it a non-sweeping set. Coincidentally, the Pokemon I am talking about is also a Ghost-type, so the comparison is fitting. Give it a support/general annoyance set, with the likes of Substitute, WoW (which I understand has perfect accuracy in your special field), Pain Split, possibly Perish Song. This way, thanks to its natural speed it will still be able to cripple the player's Pokemon, making the battle difficult, but still it won't be able to just sit there and spam Ghostly Wail to OHKO anything in sight, and thus the battle will still be winnable. Just my two cents, I hope you can find this idea useful.

Guzam Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Listen Jan. I like the way Narcissa is now. She is just the right difficulty... For reborn mode. Not for Intense Mode. Intense Mode still seems too easy. Revert her back to her original brokeness in insane mode and then we'll be good. I could help you with rosters and balancing if you want. It's not that big a deal or anything. It's just that I've noticed that for this new insane mode you said some trainers would have new pokemon, but I haven't noticed that in the gym leaders. I could help you with that stuff, but I don't really think you'd need a dedicated teambuilder just for boss battles >>
Milotic Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 WoW and other supporting moves are great and all, but I kinda like the whole speedy power house Gengar lead, imo it is the only actual "very difficult" part of the whole battle, once you get passed that hurdle (which is totally possible) then the rest of the battle can be beat with strategy
Fumble Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Well, a bit off topic from Narcissa, but just wondering: Does Barbed Web stack? Looking at Pyrrhon's video, after Crawli used Barbed Wire twice, when a Pokemon was sent out, its speed was harshly lowered. Sticky Web normally only lowers the Pokemon's speed by one stage...

I don't think it stacks, it just lowers speed by two stages instead of one.
Peepeepoopoo Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) need help cant find kingdras wing The guy by the Kingdra statue gives you a clue as to where it might be. If you're really stuck then Go to purity grove and check the trees by where the old lady is, you should find the Kingdra wing there. Be prepared for a battle when you go back and reattach the Kingdra wing. Edited May 21, 2015 by vsx2000goton

Milotic Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) 1) is there a grind spot better than Egyptian Dance Party guy? Trying to finish Betadex... 2) Where is the Goldenleaf Help Center? Is there one? 1. No, theres nothing better than an Audino without moves lol (atm anyways) 2. No, Help Centers are only in Sheridan, Kakori, Gearen, and Kristiline. According to Jan, there will be no more Edited May 21, 2015 by SexyMilotic
Hypa Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 goldenleaf doesnt need a help center they they already got rid of all there problems by stopping all outsiders from coming in
Peepeepoopoo Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Where's the Kristilline one in that case...? A bit north of the Pokemon Center in Kristiline. You need to have finished all of the help center quests in Kakori village and have the Center Keys to get in though.
