John

the same crimson decor and theme opened before john as he trekked down the narrow space. The dim, ominous overhead lighting the walls themselves and the plush carpet coalescing into a perfect marriage in the man's vision, so ruby and deep in it's color depth one would probably think some poor young virgin was sacrificed none too long ago on that very floor.

If john squinted hard enough after a few paces, he could notice a haze of sorts... misty, curled tendrils crawling along the floor as wraiths crawled the earth looking for souls, gaining inch by inch by inch as they found the domination through the hallway and around his feet...

The second door on his left seemed to be the birth place of the mist, bouts of it spewing forth from it's foot even now...

James

"Two in a row... looks like things are going to get interesting" Thought Jenny, barely even glancing at the ticket or the man... no, for what she needed to glimpse was far beneath the surface, the facade of flesh and bone. God, how it still disgusted her even now how vulnerable the average person always was, day or night... like an open book, just sitting there waiting to be read by her... if she were the type of scum to actually read them, that is..."Back Hall," She finally sighed. looks like she wouldn't get to make scrambled eggs out of this one either. "Second door on the left..."

And just like that, she was more interested in her underlings than the Rebel Wannabe.

Kaz

"Threes always a disaster..." she sighed to herself, again barely glancing at the ticket, just as she had all the others- it was all she needed, really... just a single moment, and she was in. And it was every bit as uninteresting as the other two blokes. "Alright, what the hell's going on here...? Out of all you roaches from the woodwork, not one of you's plotting anything?" "Well..." She smirked, scoffing a bit "Isn't this a first...? Back hallway, second door on the left..."

Lucas

"Hmm? Oh, no, no, not at all, sir..." she said as she followed Lucas' order to the letter, before long presenting him with what may damn well have been the best martini he'd ever seen- why... it would almost be crime to down such a work of art...almost... "Well, I guess at first she probably does...but once you get to know her..." She shrugged, moving on the fill the next order. "She's just... different, I guess you could say..."

((Turn order will be dissolved soon. for now however, it goes as follows: Kenny, Yash, Exlink, Typhlosion))

James thanked her and went back into the back room. Second door on the left. James walked into the room and went towards the door. After knocking on the door he looked around the room. That was when noticed the slight mist hanging around the floor. Hmm, nice. It seems there is a private party room back here. Fog machine and all.

Kaz nodded to Jenny, "Thanks." Is all he said before heading towards the door. It was emitting an eerie mist from its bottom though it's just mist. It's not like it's gonna do much but make the air more humid. He knocked on the door to see if anyone was in there. If no one answered, he'd just check to see if door was unlocked and take a peek inside.

as soon as he receives his order, Lucas briefly examines the martini in hand and ponders upon its beauty. with one swoop, Lucas decided to chug it all down, "Ahhh, a shot of courage...just what i need to approach such a fine lady.." he said lively to the lady mixer as he finished the drink. "thanks for the drink m'lady..now if you'll excuse me, I have matters to attend to. you stay pretty now" he said and gives out a suave wink to the waitress before leaving. with that said; Lucas leaves the counter and makes his way towards Jenny.

"Excuse me, i believe i'm here for a private party..." Lucas said to Jenny. "here's my invitation as requested." Lucas shows his card under his sleeve. "is there any other procedure upon entering? I'm willing to be frisk, if you like." He said with a playful smile to Jenny.

John

A woman's voice answers the knock from behind the slab of steel. Her accent is identifiable as japanese almost immediately... as is the blunt and curt tone of her voice "What do you want?"

James

A woman answers the door as the storm of mist and fog gradually begin to ebb from beneath the foot. Her pitch black, silky hair cut into short bangs framing her face and eyes cold and gray as the steel door frame she leaned against, her clothing rather surprising- a formal suit that hugged her lithe form almost perfectly, complete with blazer and tie.

"Show me the ticket." She said curtly, voice thick with her Japanese accent. From her expectant gaze she had obviously been expecting James...

Kaz

Nothing happened for a moment... then the door opened, and kaz found himself being dragged inside by the collar, steel slab slamming shut behind him. The dim light was barely enough to see by... but he could tell from the pressure on his ribs that he was on the floor, given the mist blowing in his face.

"Shinji!" a woman's angry voice roared in Japanese. "Turn that fog machine off or I'll put a damn bullet in it this time!"

Lucas

"Chauvinistic pig..." Jenny thought. She barely even spared the man the split second it took to make the necessary eye contact. Arms crossed, she went right back to monitoring the junior mixologists... while her true work unfolded. "I'm not even going to bother wasting the effort to read you- Bane would probably kill your type anyway..." "Being a woman, doesn't make me your plaything..."

It started as strange ebbing sensation in Lucas's mind... something in the back of his mind, and then like an atom bomb, it all detonated. Lights, Sounds, voices, memories, thoughts... all rushing through his skull like a freight train, faster and faster, brighter, louder, more insistent... and Lucas found there was nothing he could do.

He didn't even know how, but within an instant he was slumped on the floor, curling himself into fetal position as several concerned patrons looked on at the episode of twitching and flailing... all the while Jenny seemed aloof to it all, grinding her teeth.

"Jenny...Jenny, please..." whispered through her ear as the press of a familiar body presented itself against her back. The same underling who'd served Lucas' martini placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, eyes placating... "Please, Jenny... you'll kill him. Stop."

"...Tch." She sighed, again glancing at Lucas as he writhed on the floor involuntarily, nervous system haywire from the overload of sensory data being force freed through his frontal lobe. "Fine..." And like that, with that one, simple word... the mental barrage began to lift, ebb and flow away as the tide of images and sound began to stem...

((Typhlosion, Lucas is currently recovering from a case of extreme shock from the ordeal. the Turn order: Typhlosion, Kenny, Yash, Exlink))

((well that escalated quickly lol))

Lucas slowly gets up as he tries to recall what happen. the last thing he remembered was flirting with Jenny, the next: he collapse like a sack of potatoes as his whole world spin with all of the unpleasant noise buzzing around his ears and suffers some serious migraine.. "what the hell..." he stammered as Lucas glance at the two ladies right infront of him with his blurry vision. "that wasn't the frisk i've been looking for.." Lucas said as he struggles to get up on his wobbly legs. "I don't know what you just did, but you have issues my good lady." Lucas said as he recuperate and dust off the dirt of his shoulder.

"Anyways, I would like to attend to the private party if you don't mind. my sincerest apology for my behavior for I'm a little bit intoxicated at the moment." Lucas said, well mannered than he was before.

Kaz had enough of that mist blowing in his face so he began to get up off the ground. He was unsure how to respond after being thrown in like that, he didn't even need to show his ticket or say the phrase to get in. They obviously wouldn't just throw someone in a private area like that. They were probably expecting him or maybe there's something more to this. Either way after he got up he looked for the one who threw him in there.

Lucas

Before Jenifer can give any answer Lucas was pulled away from behind, whirled to face a middle aged fellow with his hand clenched firm on the soldiers arm. His shades were black as night, his attire consisting of a business suit of matching complexion. His dark hair fell is twisted strands about his chiseled face and powerful chin. Without any permission, he began dusting off the victim. A few patrons seated at the bar and the surrounding tables had turned and stared over, many of them holding phones.

"Hey, you alright pal?" The Samaritan asked. "You look like you just had a massive seizure or something." He gestured to a nearby table, already occupied by another man and 2 women in attire identical to his own... sunglasses and all. "Here, why don't you sit down for a moment, collect yourself a bit? You need an ambulance or anything?" On the cuff of his sleeve however, there is an emblem that Lucas has never seen before...

except on ESFAs. And there are more scattered throughout the place, separated by two or three tables apart, but all clustered near the front... ten or twenty or thrity perhaps. But yet what did not make sense to Lucas... was the fact that five minutes ago when he hit the floor, regular patrons had all been seated in those exact places. Hell... looking around now... he'd see the entire place was occupied by them.

==Behind the bar==

Jenifer's face went white as a sheet as she took in the newly manifested patrons, all of them sitting like ravens preparing for the kill, watching... plotting. She could spot the emblem clear as day on the arm of the man who'd grabbed the chauvinistic pig, and it was all she needed to know that it this was the end... Without a single word, she turned to her three underlings, pure terror in her thoughts as she broadcasted.

"Listen to me, act like you're going to restock the Tap," She began, already shoving the two males from out behind the counter. The female needed no prompting, already knowing what she had in mind "then all of you leave through the back entrance... Take Kate and Abraham too, and all of you run, and you don't ever look back, regardless of what you hear or see... just keep running no matter what!"

"No, There's no way in hell we're leaving you to deal with these crafty dogs, captain..." one of them broadcasted back through the open link in their minds. He began reaching behind his back for something, only to receive a glare from Jenifer.

"No, only one of us is going down here if I can help it! Get out, go! Don't throw away your lives for me..." The link was cut the second afterwards as Jenifer turned her sights to Lucas... and the man on his arm fell to floor much in the same agony as he had endured. A surge of memories flowed through Lucas's own mind not long afterwards, powerful and fierce like a river, but with no where near to pain of her last intrusion

"You! follow this path, tell them the phrase Doomsday when you're asked for a password at the door! Go!" Already a few of the suited agents were rising from their seats after seeing a fellow brother in black go down, reaching inside their lapels and producing government issue badges along with pistols... "RUN!"

The three who made it to the back room

No questions were answered as one by one, John, James and Kaz were escorted, regardless of if they willed it or not, out of the darkened space and into a better lit area seating five men looking to be in their late twenties and early thirties by the lone Japanese woman. Each trip had been completed with a gun to the small of their backs, hands clasped behind them and held in place with a hand strong as a vice-grip, a deceptive bit of power for a woman of such small stature...

715042651out_clubin.jpg

One by one, they were all seated at the bench of a round table, facing each other. The five men seemed rather amused by it, especially the one sitting with a fog machine next to him...

"so, More little piggies wanna flee slaughter house, Hmmm...?"

"Oh please, look at them, these wimps, they no last even one day in Bane's war!"

"Oh, give them chance guys, they probably make good cannon fodder!"

"I swear to fucking god..." The woman snarled, whirling to face her suited companions. "The next one of you who speaks in that stereotypical fashion will get my foot shoved so far up their arse that they'll be tasting leather from now on. It's the Fifty first century, you are the product of millions and millions of years of evolution and thousands of years of a powerful and great culture. Now fucking act like it."

"Apologies, boss..." they all said in unison. "Boss" turned back to face the three detainees.

"So... you three wanna join the Cause? Kill ESFAs and Federals and liberate all the little people who are to used to living as cattle to be able to stand up for themselves? Or maybe you're in it for vengeance or for all the ass you think you'll get if you tell all the girls and boys you're a rebel?"

((Turn order is as follows: Kenny or Yash or Exlink, then Typhlosion. The three in the back room have no turn order in between them and can respond in any order, but typhlosion must wait until at least two of them responds before posting.))

James looked around the room, trying to get a read on the people. His companions were seated next to him and he gave them a quick once over. There was one who was visibly younger than him, with short hair and similar to James in size. He seemed to be a military child, which made James instantly comfortable. The other one was much shorter than him and had longer, black hair. He didn't seem all that interesting to James at present. Their hosts however, were a different story. It seemed that the five men sitting in the room were the muscle, or at least junior when compared to the boss lady. The lady was tough for sure, specially considering how she brought the three of them in and the obvious respect and fear she invoked from the men.

He decided to speak with the so called 'Boss'. He stared at her, slightly annoyed at having been brought in at gun point, yet understanding the need for it. "First of all was all this really necessary? Gun to the back and all? Yes, I do want to join the Cause. Why do you think I'm here, to party? One of you called us here, shouldn't that be enough? Is my reason for joining really that important to you? In any case, you're right. In a sense it is vengeance and a wish to give people a chance to live their lives. But more than that, I want answers." His mind raced back to her, almost overwhelming him. His memories flooded his mind. Her face, the way she smiled at him. The look in her eyes. Then flashed the memories he hated. Her condition when she was ill. Almost dying. Dead. He shut his eyes. After he snapped back to the present, he asked the woman, "I may be wrong but you don't seem to be the Archangel. Who are you?"

After the person who was as tall as him finished speaking, John spoke.

"It sems that I wasn't the only one here who wanted answers, revenge, and to help others."

John then shrugged as he continued speaking.

"And it seems that what I was gonna ask has already been asked."

The Back Room

'Boss' smirked at the men's ignorance... and they couldn't help but notice it easily looked like a rather attractive expression on her. "Ah, that," She began. "Archangel is a very... special name used within the intelligence sector of the Rebellion, just one of the many code names in existence. As it might suggests though, it's so high ranked the only one with any authority over it is the big cheese running all the operations- the one who holds the code name of God. As for who I am..."

"She's the angel of Death and Cherry Blossoms!" one of her men, the one with the fog machine beside him, chimed in with adoration. "The scarlet fury in the night, the one who leaves a trail of blood in her wake whenever she encounters ESFAs, The black wind that silences all else, the-"

"That's enough, Shinji..." She said, turning back to the three of them. "But yes, as he said... My code name is Angel of Death, though they seem incessant on adding in the Cherry Blossoms part for some reason. for the time being you may call me simply Death for the shorthand."

"Ok Death, I don't suppose we're done here and we can join now." Kaz said left hand resting in his lapand the right scratching the back of his head. "But judging by the way you brought us in here, you have something more for us to do. So lets get this over with because the less time I have to stay in this foggy room the better." Kaz muttered. He didn't really enjoy being blown in the face with a fog machine, or how he was forced into his seat and these questions about his motives. He knew why he was doing this, though everyone else didn't need to.

After Lucas heard Jenny's mentally transmitted message, he knew that shits about to hit the fan if he decided to stick around in this room for too long.. apparently these black suited guys are not your typical party goers. They are here for something else and these government dogs are definitely on a hunt. Before leaving, Lucas did a quick search on the fallen squirming agent right beside him. Lucas kneels down on one knee and frisked the mentally traumatized suited guy. As expected, this guy is carrying a gun and a badge. figures, I knew there's something screwy about a man going to a nightclub with shades on. Lucas secretly took the gun from the guy's blazer and decided to keep it, for his own protection. Lucas quickly transfers the gun inside his coat and quickly gets up.He simply leaves the man on the floor and sprinted towards the exit before the others agents could gank up on him. Lucas followed the path set by Jenny. He halted and approach the designated door.

"Jenifer sent me here" Lucas said.repeatedly knocking on the door trying to get a response.

Back Room

"We have fog for a reason," One of the men piped up, this one sitting on the far left corner of the coach beside Fog Machine guy. His body was average, yet powerful nonetheless His pitch black shades seemed to gleam with the condensation of water vapor, so to did his bald, mixed complexion head reminiscent of light caramel. He went on, tapping a finger to his tinted glasses. "Makes it harder for Round Eyes and other normal people to fight in here, gives us a huge advantage since we don't need our eyes to find ya and off ya-" As if to testify to the claim, a hunting suddenly gleamed out of the settling mist, hurtling through the air and lodging itself deep in the couch backing directly beside Kaz's neck. Another inch or two over and the young man would've been missing his entire jugular.

"See, don't need eyes..." Fog Machine man smirked, already twirling another knife in his fingers before Boss glared at him and he stowed it again, turning his sights to the floor and slinking back into the chair cushions. The bald man let a brief, gruff chuckle at the scene.

"Moving on..." Boss began, again turning her attention back to the recruits, specifically at Kaz. "Looks like we got us a go-getter then with this crop. Alright, fine, hot shot. You wanna live hard and die fast?" She glanced over at the bald bi-racial "Ringo, go prep the armory. Looks like we're mobilizing."

The bald man, Ringo as his name apparently was, got up without a word, disappearing through the fog gathered in the sides of the room. The sound of a heavy set door opening accompanied rays of light spilling into the room. Moments later the light died and a heavy slam reverberated throughout the space. Ringo emerged through the mist yet again, this time handing off small, rectangular pieces of plastic off to each of his comrades, even going so far as tossing one to the boss herself. Latches were undone and pass codes entered, lids lifted up on hinges and clips retrieved and slammed into place with resolute smacks. Each of the still seated four rose from their places on the couches, two wielding the slick pump action of twin shotguns between them and the other two slinging the long barrels of Modded, ERC Standard issue Laser-Rifles behind each arm.

Boss however. Boss held in her hands a silver, gleaming length of flash forged Alloy, curved, singled edged, sharp enough to cut a man in half just from daring to glimpse at it. Engraved upon it's face was a breif sereis of Kanji that would've read "Stone" to the well versed mind had half the characters not have been struck clean from the blade by the massive, marring scar on it's otherwise flawless surface, strongly resembling damage from an incidiary device or some form of shock wave. The entirety of the thing's sheath held similar war scars, sitting there in the black long case...

"Get up..." She ordered the three men. Her eyes stayed fixed on the blade as she turned her back to them and sheathed it before letting the sling fall across her chest. Before she could check to see if the order was being heeded however, the sound of shots came from the door, along with a heavy knock of panic...

Lucas

There was no time to act, no time to think. Before Lucas even knew what was happening, the door flew open with an audible slam. As the once trapped fog billowed out into the hallway, rejicing in it's liberation by this sudden visitor's arival, a mighty, muscular fist with a caramel complexion reached out and snapped the AWOL soldier up by the lapels, tossing him onto the floor as if he were nothing more than a ragdoll. The sound of something heavy and metallic slamming shut came a moment later... along with the sight of the barrel of a gun in Lucas's face...

"You said Jenny sent you?" A Gruff Voice asked from above. Lucas menawhile could see nothing through the heavy mist. Only the vague shape of a man before him, easily six and a half feet if not more. Well... the shape and the looming death it wielded, that is. "Start talking, what's with that gun fire out there?"

The speaker already knew fullwell what it likely meant... but he wanted to hear actual confirmation before he accepted the idea that their entire base of operations was now royally screwed...

oh shit i knew going out to a club on a workday was a bad idea. Lucas thought to himself as he produce cold sweats while his heartbeat beats faster, knowing that he's a second away from getting his head blown off.

"yeah, you heard me, Jenny sent me here," he answered with a disgruntled tone. "it appears this club has been invaded by unwanted guest.. guys in penguin suits with badges, most probably federal agents of some sort. " Lucas answered. "she told me to come here as she hold those guys back there as much she could.." Lucas said, heavily breathing with every word.

"look, i don't know what's going on, but if you're expecting me to plead for my life just because you have a gun to my face, well you got another thing coming.." Lucas unflinchingly said to the man.
