Chim Posted December 14, 2014 Author Posted December 14, 2014 Oh, yay... I get a sharp metal bird rubbing up against me like a cat. XD Too bad a Skarmory can't purr.
TurboAura Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 (edited) And cue the hell that'll be coming Henry's way in a minute.@Tses & Bfroger: Robert legitamately doesn't remember, so should Sissy tell him or not? Corresponding Question: If we do tell him, are we letting the "Henry's pissed for full reasoning" fight happen, or will Shun put him in a Shadow Sneak so that I don't get thrown trying to stop him? Edit: Oh, so none of them actually know his name. Well... Does anyone else want to say it? Edited December 14, 2014 by TurboAura
Commander Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 @Turbo: Henry's not pissed at anyone. (If anything, he probably thinks you're all a bunch of idiots...except Claude). I was more referring to Jory and Claude when they talk to Ryan. Edit: Henry did see Jacob battle, but he probably wouldn't think Jacob of all people would do something like that.

The lapras part can be the only hint out of this.
Support Squad Felicity Posted December 14, 2014 Support Squad Posted December 14, 2014 ooooh, yeah I think Ryans issue is more to do with Ryans depression by predicted death. Also, hell yeah, Claude seems smart That'll have to change...

DarkLight Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 As usual, let me know if an action seems too OP.
Commander Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 As usual, let me know if an action seems too OP. Best rule of thumb: partially describe what you're going to do so the other person can follow through and/or counter it. I'm usually not a fan of forced hits unless both Pokemon are dodging a lot. Since this is an NPC, it doesn't matter as much and you should destroy them

Edit: And I totally forgot about Intimidate...
Chevaleresse Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 stealth rocks are not only tiny, they're extremely sharp, so how exactly do you plan on jumping from one to the other?
Aurorix Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I used bulbapediea's in anime section as a reference in that last post, but i edited it, http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Stealth_Rock_(move)
Commander Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 @Murdoc: Actually they're quite big and unlike the games aren't as useful. They are pretty big floating rocks used to trap a user in one spot or take damage to get out of it. I guess it could be used multiple times but it seems more like a one time deal. (Probably something Chim has to decided on). You are right about one thing. They are sharp and would definitely hurt if you touched them.
Chevaleresse Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 hmm. Is it reasonable for a level 20 Tyrunt to know Rock Polish or DD? (Also, the anime and game depictions of SR are way different holy crap)
Commander Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I don't know how stat raising moves work in Anime Style Battling (I figure they'd be small buffs and not double your strength. Small buffs do go a long way though). If I had to choose between the two, Rock Polish by a land slide. DD limits some Pokemon to random dancing to gain a boost, but Rock Polish has more than one use. You're pokemon might not move as fast compared to a DD, but it certainly will not take as much damage if you use the smoothing right.
Zephyrus the Priestess Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Are we allowed to switch Pokemon during battles? I'm thinking of switching out Toothless for another Pokemon while the dust cloud's still intact.
Chim Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 Are we allowed to switch Pokemon during battles? Big rocks that linger around and damage whenever you switch in. You can get rid of them by using something like Rapid Spin or by using powerful attacks. See it as a rocky field anime style where Pokémon sometimes hide behind rocks (SR isn't as big though) but only half the field is effected.
DarkLight Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 @Chim: Zared has Hidden Power Water. So, if that changes anything you are going to do, go ahead and change it now~
Chim Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 @Chim: Zared has Hidden Power Water. So, if that changes anything you are going to do, go ahead and change it now~ That wouldn't do too much damage so I'll keep it like it is this time. And I'm too lazy to change it
Aurorix Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 and now we're both waiting Well, you did hide away, and it would be stupid to run around aimlessly.
Veterans Azeria Posted December 15, 2014 Veterans Posted December 15, 2014 Sorry i didnt reply earlier, had school T.T
Zephyrus the Priestess Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 It's okay lol, I have school too and lately I've been busy XD ... also uh, Lucifer fired a Confuse Ray at your Dratini, or did you somehow dodge it...? Anyway, I'll wait for Azery's reply before I proceed.
DarkLight Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 So, what does everyone think about the Prankster ability? Like how do you think it works in this RP? I have no reference to base it on so I'm open to ideas. I thought that it acts like an instinct, so Avis would somehow always find a way to Roost first even in the weirdest circumstances. Finally decision, of course, goes to Chimchain but I'm curious anyways. Dobby, I'm looking at you though.
Chevaleresse Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Actually, do we have a rule on abilities in general? In some places, notably PMD and apparently in the anime, Pokemon have all of their abilities at once.
