  1. Just finished playing through this game. Really fun! A lot of pokemon got changed to be more viable, and puts a whole new twist on how pokemon exists lore-wise which was exciting to play through! My only gripe with the game overall was just the lack of healing items, making trips to pokecenters very common, but outside of that it is an amazing fangame!
  2. *Grabs Popcorn* *Ctrl+F "Intense"*
  3. Sigmund's character arc ends with removing a face mask and its just the "sigma male" .png
  4. Ice beam AND earthquake? gonna be stacked for E19 and saphira is gonna be in shambles
  5. I obtained scarf through the thief-fling-recycle strat via Indra in Agate Circus.
  6. I will definitely use the bug bite suggestion, but I do not really want to use TW on Togekiss due to using choice scarf, which I need to be able to outspeed a non-scarfed hydreigon. As for ice moves.... yeah...
  7. Heya! I've been teambuilding to try and prep for the E4 and whatnot in E19. This is what I've got so far Notes: assume all needed IVs are at 31 unless specified otherwise. Scizor - life orb - technician - adamant nature Bullet Punch X-Scissor Swords Dance Acrobatics EVS: 252 attack, 252 speed, 6 hp Scizor has a ton of resistances and only one weakness in fire, making it a solid lead pokemon on my team. If I could run u-turn, I definitely would but the tm is not available. It provides excellent damage in technician bullet punch, swords dance for setup if the battle leads with the opponent needing to swap out. Acrobatics is for having a solid move if life orb gets knocked off and bullet punch loses its punch. Togekiss - choice scarf - serene grace - timid nature Air Slash Dazzling Gleam Aura Sphere Flamethrower EVs: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp Togekiss is one of my heavy hitters. I have high hopes for its use in either flinch spamming with air slash or in certain cases being my big counter against certain pokemon I know the E4 will have such as Lin's ace (ran the calcs. even at 252 hp 252 sp. def, dazzling gleam is a 1HKO). I am running scarf because otherwise I am much more likely to be outsped and thus losing that 60% flinch chance. Sceptile - sceptilite - Overgrow(before mega) - timid nature Dragon Pulse Leaf Storm Energy Ball Focus Blast EVs: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp. Mega Sceptile is what I want to use in my mega slot. I would definitely use something more potent like mega mawile or kangaskhan, however kangaskhan seemed a bit bland for me and my team already had multiple ground weaknesses so I wanted a mega to cover that since it is one of the two exploitable type weaknesses my team has. I'm mainly using it for either revenge killing via leaf storm or using it to flat out sweep with dragon pulse and energy ball. I have focus blast mainly as a deterrent for steel types so I'm not required to swap out. Typhlosion - Grassium-Z - flash fire - timid nature Eruption Focus Blast Solar Beam Nature Power EVs: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp Typhlosion is my main solution to the very real problem Laura poses to me: flower garden. Flower garden's field is perhaps one of the most potent fields in this game alongside underwater and big top. There are two ways to combat the probably very rapid ascent into stage 5 where her team will become nigh unstoppable: cut and poisonium-Z to reduce the field's stages and buy yourself more time... or become a pyromaniac and light it up! As you can probably tell, I'm going with the latter option. My hope is if I press eruption, her team will no longer be allowed to exist. She will probably have something to counter that like rain dance ludicolo... but my hope is that is not the case and that I will be allowed to press the nuke button. If it is the case then I will bring a fake out mon just like I did with Shelly. Solar beam is for using the z crystal on non-Laura fights, nature power and focus blast are more coverage Aegislash - leftovers - stance change - brave nature Sacred Sword King's Shield Swords Dance Shadow Sneak EVs: 252 hp, 252 attack, 6 defense Aegislash is my ace. My baby. My free win button. I stall out with king's shield to set up swords dance and go ham with shadow sneak, running sacred sword to counter normal types who would otherwise wall my priority shenanigans. This is my big counter to Anna who is most likely running psychic types, as well as hopefully putting a dent into El's team via sacred sword and resisting normal types due to steel typing (I say resisting because I believe El is going to be fought on holy field which lets normal types hit ghost types.) Aegislash will also probably put a big dent into Heather's team as well since steel types in general just really wall flying types. RotomWash - wide lens - levitate - timid nature Discharge Will-O-Wisp Shadow Ball Hydro Pump EVs: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp So, rotom is my swiss army knife in this team comp. It has wisp to cripple physical attackers, discharge to synergize with mega sceptile's lightning rod, hydro pump for a very strong water STAB to help ease my ground and fire weaknesses and shadow ball because other than aegislash I don't really have an answer to ghost types. I am running wide lens because hydro pump and wisp both tend to miss when I need them most so I'm gonna say NO to that. Overall I really feel like, given how little info we have on the E4 and champion's teams, this team is pretty well built. It has a lot of resistances and no more than 2 weaknesses in any given type, if any. My only real weaknesses in this team are a lack of ghost resistances, which hopefully won't be an issue given the typings of the E4 (Normal, Flying, Psychic and Grass.) I will porbably just stick with this team but I wanted to share it to see if anyone had some advice or ideas!
  8. Picking cards, one would presume
  9. Give me anomaly Amaria. I want true suffering the likes of which I haven't experienced since intense rejuvenation's Valor Mountain battle! Honestly though this looks amazing! (Also new hiker sprite?)
  10. This right here. Whenever I look at the canon games, even platinum/emerald... i can't enjoy them anymore. Reborn/Rejuvenation/Desolation are just on a whole 'nother level several times over compared to them! Field effects are such an obvious feature the canon games should have had for so long, especially when you see that kind of stuff happen in the anime all the time but it took them until gen 7 to even add any type of terrain, period. Nowadays the only teams of 6 mons you find in canon games are either the final rival fight, the champion or maybe some fisherman with 6 magikarp (which puts up more of a fight than the other two...) Where is the challenge in canon games? Hell, I'd take a difficulty mode. It can't be that hard for them to do. Keep the current free win difficulty as normal but add an "expert" mode or something like what black/white had (even though it was horribly botched in implementation) where the gym leaders had more, stronger pokemon with actual competitive items (sheer force life orb druddigan was an actual fun challenge) Keep doing what y'all are doing devs, I love you all for it!!
  11. Can't wait for v13! Take as long as needed and have happy holidays
  12. My dream team is gonna be Regigigas, Aegislash, Tyranitar/Aggron, Mega Gardevoir, King's Rock Cincinno, and i'm unsure of the 6th. Don't give my boy Regi shit, ill stall the first 5 turns out then sweep the everloving hell out of people with that madman
  13. I recommend as far as "early game" goes, get the castform as soon as you can, sunny day+rain dance with weather ball can actually delete so many early game gyms. You don't get weather ball until 25 but once you do, you have coverage on several types, including bug (cough screw shelly cough) and is also pretty useful against Shade and Corey. Corey because the rainbow field from mixing rain and sunny day cancels out the poison field which screws with a lot of what Corey's team relies on (venoshock, merciless ability, etc) and works against Shade because it gets rid of the dark machine field so rotom gets screwed as well as most of his team besides mimikyu. Probably use castform to replace igglybuff, as numel doesnt really get much value besides Shelly and later down the road Aya (imo numel doesnt have any good ground attacks until after corey.)
  14. I never knew typhlosion could learn grass knot. Gimme some of that tea, where do i find grassium Z in the game? That is gonna be too good of an opportunity to miss.
  15. Heya! This is my first post on the forums, just finished Episode 18 and I gotta say that Reborn outshines the actual pokemon games by a longshot. I LOVE IT! Anyway, Amaria and Hardy were my toughest challenges with this team, but i've gotten to it. Heres the 6 that have been MVP's throughout the game. (Btw i'm not a super competitive battler so if yall got suggestions to me for movesets or items, go ahead, but the pokemon themselves are staying. Knight (Aegislash) Max EV's in attack+speed, max ivs item: spell tag ability: Stance Change -Swords Dance -King's Shield -Iron Head -Shadow Sneak strat: swords dance+king's shield followed by a shadow sneak sweep, iron head is for stab on beefy rock types and whatever else Chompy (Garchomp) Max EV's in attack+speed, max ivs item: dragon fang Ability: Rough skin -Crunch -fire fang -stone edge -dragon rush strat: just power through, i would go for sand veil or whatever his other ability is for a sandstorm setup but if it backfired it would mess with other peeps on my team. Blaze (Typhlosion) Max EV's in Sp. Attack + speed, max ivs item: wise glasses ability: flash fire -Eruption -lava plume -extrasensory -flamethrower strat: spam eruption, havent had a reason to drop lava plume or flamethrower yet, any suggestions would be nice! Medi (Medicham) Max EV's in attack+speed, max ivs item: black belt ability: pure power -fake out -acupressure -zen headbutt -high jump kick strat: fake out followed by acupressure with a prayer that its in attack, kick and headbutt everything Amy (Gardevoir) Max EV's in Sp. Attack and speed, max ivs item: gardevoirite ability: Synchronize/pixelate -calm mind -hyper beam -psychic -draining kiss strat: mega evolve+calm mind once or twice, draining kiss hp back then psychic, hyper beam for bulky bois Cindy (Cincinno) item: wide lens (looking for king's rock) ability: skill link -tail slap -rock blast -bullet seed -sing strat: whittle everything down after using sing, once i have king's rock ill replace sing with something else then power through everything with 42% flinch rate or whatever percent it is (thanks Noel for showing my the darkness of skill link, lol)
