  1. I'd like to state a certain strategy i like to use to burn away the competition, it involves my starter, Typhlosion, and another starter i got from wonder trade early on, Serperior, now, i'm sure most people know of the pledge moves... and most don't care of them, however, the mix between Grass pledge and Fire pledge can prove fatal for MANY enemy teams, now, to start, you use Serperior, or some other grass type that has it, after said Pokemon going down or switching out, you send out Typhlosion, or some other fire type of the sort, (but Typhlosion is recromended), after using the Fire pledge, it changes the Field to Firey terrain or whatever, boosting Fire moves and harming Pokemon... however, while this in itself is good, with Typhlosion? it gets better, with the ability Flash Fire, the Firey terrains Damaging aspect when hitting Typhlosion, acts as an actual move from a Pokemon, activating the flash fire and sending its fire moves damage through the roof, meaning now you have S.T.A.B. A terrain that boosts fire moves, AND flash fire, and with a move like Eruption? even the tankiest of water types take insane damage despite their Resistance, Typlosion becoming a Hard hitting God... until the field goes down that is, the opposing team doesn't last long anyways though... so yea, hope this helps some of you, have fun... Burn. It. All. Typhlosion+best+starter+well+tied+with+c

The Pledge Moves an 80 Power Special move, Its good to know that has the same effect but better fire power... only thing is, Grassy terrain isn't everywhere, and i dunno how to get the Grassy terrain tm, i'll liik up what pokemon learn it though, thanks for the info btw : )

I don't think there's a TM for any of the Field moves, but Grassy Field is pretty widespread among Grass Types. Afaik the earliest it's available is as a possible Egg Move for the Hoppip's right outside Obsidia Slums.

That might actually be the earliest you can get any of the Field moves, but I'm not 100% on that.

As good as that is to know... i have no way of getting back to obsidia currently, im in the later stages of the game where it locks you out of a big portion of the map, there's also the fact that i would never use a hoppip or any of its line if it were to save my life xD, but thanks again lol
