It seems that is corrupted, just like Garbodor, it doesn't even start the game properly. You should try with an older data (preferably the most close to Garbodor's Events)

I've fixed this by disabling speed-up function (Alt key), once you defeated Corroso, it should run properly

Hmm. Definitel, Talonflame, Its a ability Gale Wings, makes flying type moves gget priority at full hp, it has a high speed stat, and a good attack stat. It oculd be also used as support, with Roost for recover hp. Tailwind which boost your team speed. A priority Brave Bird, that's no other pokemon have. As for Flareon, I may like it too much, but it is more Attack-Focused, having one of the most powerful Flare Blitz at the date (which Talonflame has access too) and no many movesets. It also has a speed stat that can clearly get outspeeded. So, I'll go for Talonflame

I have two runs, one and main, it uses exp. share all along the playthrough, and another that doesn't. It clearly has a difference, have your team balanced in terms of levels, but in the other hand, Mons Ev's are not raised, with the excepction the ones who defeats your opp's mons. Imo, it also depens in which diffficulty you play, as I play intense mode, I prefered to activavvte it, and then Ev's train my mons with wild ones.

Try updating a previous data with your current one. I did it, and it worked. Though I don't remember if I got the same error. If that doesn't work, try postingg your issue here:

You sure you didn't save between those hours? You must look for the backup with the higher number..

This guide should help you for that matter.

You can go to your backups files and replace your current data, with and older one where you are not stucked. Or either use Fly to a location.
