  1. "EXTERMINATING SUPERNATURAL THREATS WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE." She stands still and silent, thus far only specifically responding when asked a direct question. "ALSO, I HAVE DETERMINED THAT I PERFORM WELL AS A PILLOW AND MODEL FOR COSPLAY."
  2. "I AM CURRENTLY UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE SOCIETY OF DEMON HUNTERS. AS FAR AS I WAS AWARE, I WAS TRANSFERRED HERE TO BEGIN ACTIVE FIELD WORK."
  3. The girl pauses for a moment, considering. "I SEE. IN THAT CASE, I WILL PROVIDE WHATEVER INFORMATION I CAN TO ASSIST YOU. i DO NOT NEED TO EAT, SLEEP, OR PREFORM MANY OF THE FUNCTIONS NORMALLY REQUIRED OF A HUMAN BODY. i AM ALSO UNSURE WHAT OTHER INFORMATION SHOULD BE RELEASED TO YOU BEYOND THIS, AS I AM NOT AWARE OF YOUR CLEARANCE LEVEL AND HAVE BEEN ASKED TO KEEP CERTAIN INFORMATION PRIVILEGED."
  4. She rises back out of the packing peanuts, the belts around her jaw staying loose for now since it seems she'd be talking for a while. "MY PREVIOUS HANDLER STATED i WAS BEING REASSIGNED AND WOULD BE BRIEFED AT MY DESTINATION."
  5. The belts loosen again, letting out that voice. "I AM CHISE NOMURA. IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU." She pauses for a moment before speaking again, as if considering. "IF YOU ARE NOT MY HANDLER, I WOULD REQUEST YOU CONTACT THEM AND HAVE THEM COLLECT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE." and with that, Chise begins to lower back into her cardboard box.
  6. The box was open. She'd known she'd been being carried for a little. Door closed. Secure. The Hairtenna twitches once, and then the belts begin to move, beginning to slowly crawl out of the box. One of them was awakened. Likely the handler. The other had not done anything specific yet, but was likely already aware. She began to rise, the box shaking some as she dislodges packing peanuts from her, belts reaching out to brace her as she lifts up out of the box, facing generally toward them, primarily the one she had recognized as her handler. The form of a girl, wrapped in a massive number of belts, covering her entire body and binding it together in something akin to a fetal position, their ends extending in all directions to hold her up, the only thing extending beyond them being a long, blonde ahoge. The belts wrapping her face move, loosening to allow speech. "GREETINGS. ARE YOU MY MASTER?" Master. A funny word. It made people nervous, not sure how to answer. That was fun. The belts tighten again, once more sealing the unsettling voice of the girl.
  7. Anea moves to M-8, using Heal on Alwine. "Hang in there, Alwine, I've got you." She blinks, then smiles. "We're going to be working together a lot, huh?"
  8. When the alarm goes up around the ship, Rivers snaps to attention, fingers suddenly blurring through the air, curling magic trailing behind them. Actions: Move 1: Go, Ae, At Move 2: At, At, if the harpies continue to approach aggressively: Cast Glyph Spell, else At AEATATATGO - Quadruplet Magic: Gravity Lance 4d8+14 Gravity damage to four harpies chosen at random (all but the leader if there's a visible indication) Rivers raises her hand, the spiral of glowing symbols above her head wavering and resolving into four semi-visible dark purple lances, which quickly shift in place before launching themselves at the Harpies with great force, unless they back off, in which case she adds one more symbol to the wheel.
  9. A... a raccoon? Lena can't even really write to that, just sorta... staring at Dackly in confusion. How... do you make something like that out of a raccoon?
  10. Rivers considers using that thing she'd taken from the ship, but after a second notes that the people she'd intended to heal were fine now. Alrighty, if they need it again she'll use it then. Air -> Shoot -> Cast (1d6+6 AIR)
  11. Lena frowns, fidgeting. She'd assumed that these weapons were created for something that required them originally, and became used in arena battles later as a result, but... designed specifically for these arena battles? how strange.
  12. Lena listens intently to her explanation, eyes slowly widening. That's... That's interesting. Not exactly an Incorruptus, and definitely easier, if nothing else. She pauses, staring down at the paper before continuing, scratching out the words.
  13. Oh. That's a... very angry cloud. That's not good. Welp. Time to avoid dying. Rivers gets herself a Biotic Field Generator, then prepares Air and Shoot Glyps and casts the resulting spell at the Cloud, attempting to disrupt it. (1d6+SYN AIR) Rivers' Loadout
  14. Rivers had been busy. After finding out that these slimes produced something close enough to Essence to be useful and confirming its nature with the Dryad, she'd confirmed that it could, indeed, be very useful to her. That being said, she was now outside of town, heading toward the hill, occasionally pausing to sketch symbols in the air and send tiny blades and needles of air into a nearby slime, breaking its surface tension and splattering it all over the ground, then harvesting its chunks of ooze and the small crystals she catalyzes out of its Soul. Having finished this, she'd make her way toward the large group of people at the nearby transports, approaching them cautiously. "Hello, I assume from your gathering here you're all to be going out on some adventure or other? Would you be willing to take someone else along? I have an interest in what may be found in the far reaches of this world, and would like to explore it if possible."
  15. Guess I'll need to port character sheet to a PDF/image at some point and post it.
  16. Lena smiles somewhat awkwardly, then pulls up her pad of paper, writing on it for a moment before showing it to the other person.
  17. It would take some time, Lena doing her best to work with the pair to set up what they needed, but eventually they'd end up with a wide, secured pit several meters deep with a ladder on one end for access, as well as a small home for whomever would eventually end up taking care of these things, as that would almost certainly be necessary... unavailable, at the moment, sadly. It was passable work, viable, but not especially notable. 'Good Enough' in every sense of the phrase. -- Several minutes later, the trio would emerge from the Geosphere again, appearing back in the barracks amid a quiet hum and a small flash of magic.
  18. Having failed to find the person she was aiming to speak to, Rivers instead makes her way to one of the walls, at which point she proceeds to rain heavy stones upon several slimes until they lose cohesion and splatter, then descends upon them to collect their bits. +22 Gel +3 Merit She then spends some time experimenting with the remains of the Slimes and ends up managing to extract some Sparks from them! Who knew, things here at least had a little bit of something close enough to Essence... weird shit, though. +7 "The Purity" Sparks
  19. Before sleeping, Rivers spends some time studying the Eternal Ice core she'd been given, spending quite some time getting used to its magic, before experimentally beginning to extract that magic into a nodule of Raw Ice Essence, ending up with an uneven, blocky chunk of ice-blue crystal. ---- In the morning, she goes looking for the man who'd given her the ice in the first place, to show him the crystal and see if he could provide any more for her to experiment on.
